Summary
Tim Drake never actually wanted to become part of the Robin-Batman-vigilante outfit. No, really. But the last Robin up and died, and now Batman is going crazy, and no one else is doing anything about it, so...Tim decides to become Robin. He might as well, right? At the very least it'll give him something to do while his parents are gone.
Still, Tim's not taking up the mantle until he can put a couple of things in order. Step one? Making sure the Joker can't get it into his head to kill another Robin. Not ever again. (Good thing Tim's not the one with a 'no killing' rule.)
And then after that? Well, after that it's only just a matter of keeping Batman from learning Tim's identity and subsequently chasing him off. Not until Bruce can get back on his feet and pick a new Robin, a real one this time. Easy-peasy.
Sort of.

The Bats were dead and Dick was the only one left alive. He had nothing left for him so why shouldn’t he join them?
Waking up back in time was not the plan but Dick wasn’t complaining. He finally has his family back and he will not lose them again.
Robin has always been able to do what Batman couldn’t. It was okay that Bruce won’t kill. Dick wouldn’t ask him to compromise his morals.
But he had no such restrictions. He doesn’t mind killing, getting his hands dirty, and being a monster if it means his family is alive.

Or a Dark Dick Grayson who is just a tad overprotective of his family. Just a tad.

So, to recap, it’s really not that Wally has anything against Batman personally—he doesn’t—it’s just that he doesn’t want Batman to find out he is dating (and having sex with, shh) his sort-of-son because he stopped by his sort-of-son’s apartment at just half past midnight, and Wally is standing in his door frame in nothing but his underwear and one of Dick’s shirts.

Summary
Dick Grayson comes to live with Bruce Wayne on a Tuesday afternoon when he’s nine years old.
It’s a Tuesday like any other, so Bruce settles the boy in and leaves him in Alfred’s capable hands after dinner and heads out for patrol. Gotham’s underworld does not take a day off, and therefore Batman cannot either.
Dick awakes in the middle of the night and Bruce isn’t there. Alfred calms Dick down and sits with him and assures him that Bruce would have been there if he could and Dick believes him. Alfred's words can only maintain that belief for so long.Or, the one where Bruce doesn't tell Dick that he's Batman at first and things spiral out of control until people start communicating like adults.

“How’d you cry so easily?” Duke asks, still entirely too awkward because no matter what Steph says, Duke still thinks Tim is kinda cool in a weird way. A really weird way.
“Oh, I classically conditioned myself over winter break when I was eleven. All I have to do to tear up is pinch a certain point on my arm. See?” Tim viciously pinches a spot on his inner forearm. Immediately tears start to well in his eyes.

After being attacked by Granny Goodness and the Anti-Life equation, Dick isn't getting better. It's killing him. It will kill him. Not unless Bruce can breech his son's mind and save him.
But at what cost?
Or, I think the hallucination episode from Young Justice was good, but I can make it more tragic.
