True to his word, he slumped down against the wall. Somewhere, a tape recorder clicked off.
"Alright," Tim said when the silence got uncomfortable, "We're not going to try and pretend that wasn't supernatural, right?"

Summary
Martin and Jon wake up to find a version of Jon staring down at them in the Archives after being pulled into Somewhere Else. There's something odd about this place though, starting with the simple fact that everyone is toting around animals that are pieces of their souls, and everyone is miraculously alive again.
AKA: this is a Daemon AU, and also a fix it, where the characters from the original podcast are dropped into a reality for a do-over, but the alternate reality’s change is basically just Lyra’s London where daemons exist. So it’s a Martin and Jon with daemons meeting the canon Martin and Jon.

There was a pause, then Jon's office door was wrenched open.
Tim was on his feet in a second, reaching for his friend.
"Jon, what happened?"
Jon staggered towards him. Blood was running down his face, dripping off his chin, his eyes wild and unfocused. His shirt was slowly soaking through with blood, more of it seeping down from a cut on his neck, and as he reached for Tim, he saw a large, blistering burn across his right hand.
"Tim-" His voice was ragged and pained. "You're alive."
