Summary
Lestat de Lioncourt wakes up from the fever dream he experienced after the life-changing event of being beheaded right before playing his final concert. While reuniting with his long-lost love, Louis de Point du Lac, and finally breaking free from the abuse of his mortal mother, he is also confronted with the ominous attacks on cities that lead to the destruction of more and more blood drinkers. The voice is rising. The great conversion awaits. Playing at a 30,000-capacity venue sounds like a great plan, right? He has the blood of Akasha in him anyway...
This fan fiction is my coping mechanism for dealing with the (slightly underwhelming) Season 3 finale of The Vampire Lestat. It takes place after the beheading of Lestat and Louis and changes the narrative a bit. As this is a portrayal of my expectations for the Season 3 finale/Season 4 of the show, it includes a lot of plot from the books The Vampire Lestat, The Queen of the Damned and Prince Lestat.
