Chapter Text
Thor was taking Sif out for a driving lesson. It’s the first time she had even been behind a wheel and she certainly not nervous, right? She sat in the car, her hands on the wheel and her head over the steering wheel. Thor just looked at her, waiting to see her next move. They sat in silence, not moving for moments before Sif turned to look at Thor’s giggling face.
“What is so funny?” she said, narrowing her eyes
“Well, first off, your head shouldn’t be that far forward, you look like an old lady driving. You will go flying out the windshield if you break. Second of all, you don’t have your seatbelt on. First mistake. And last, of all, the car isn’t even on.”
“No need to act like such a smart arse about everything.” She corrected all the things then turned on the car
“Now, step on the accelerator.” He said slowly as if he was speaking to a child
“I swear to god, talk to me like a child again and I will ram your car into a wall,” Sif growled
They started to move at a very slow pace. Thor just leaned back in his seat, watching his foot press so lightly on the gas. “You know, we can go a bit faster. No one will die if you do. Well, I think so anyway.”
“I am moving at a safe speed, if you have a problem with it, get out.” And then they stopped at a traffic light.
“Well, I can’t, can I?
“Exactly, so shush.” Someone behind them honked their horn three times and said some not-so-nice words. Sif stuck her hand out the window and flipped them off. Thor just laughed. “Now do you see why you have to speed up?”
“Oh, you want me to speed up?” she scoffed
“Yes, I do.” He said feeling unsure
“Okay then.” When the light turned green, she changed the gear and put her foot down hard. They were zooming down the road at 70 mph. Thor quickly grabbed the ‘oh shit’ handle and tried not to hit his head on the dashboard. “Sif, slow down. You are going to get us pulled over.”
“But I thought you wanted to go fast.”
“Not this fast.” She slammed her foot down on the brakes and Thor went flying forward. Thankfully, his seat belt stopped him from flying out the window, but he did get a small bump on his head.
“Out. Now.” Sif happily obliged, not wanting to drive anymore, to begin with.
“You are never driving again. You must have some death wish or something.”
“I would do it all over again, just to see the look on your face. Priceless.” She smirked
