Technically Rhosynel should say no. She’d stolen his purse, lead him on, gotten into a scrap with his men, then broken into his quarters to return that damned purse. And then, to top it all off, been caught by the same man she’d been trying to avoid. For all sense and purposes, Rhosynel should decline, and then leave. Quickly. Before the Captain decided to arrest her instead.
But it wasn’t the word ‘no’ that left her mouth.

What if Rhosynel never joined the Rangers? What if she never became a messenger, or joined the Fellowship? Needless to say her life would be starkly different, and in a post-war world, she finds herself stealing to survive, up until a chance encounter shifts her fate back on track.
