Chapter Text
Rested and recharged, Mew and her friends have set their sights on their new journey. Mew with the Battle Frontier and Pokemon Contest in Kanto. May is also planning to enter into the contest. And lastly, Tomo is officially on his journey to earn gym badges. Their first stop is Cerulean City for the Pokemon Contest and Tomo's gym battle against Misty. Of course, they end up meeting Brock and Molly.
The gang has made a brief stop at the base of Mt. Moon while having lunch and talking to Brock and Molly.
"So Brock, how are you and your Pokemon doing at home?" Mew asks.
"Things were great, and you won't believe what happened. Ludicolo got along so well with all my brothers and sisters it was like one of the family. Even my mother treated it like one of the kids. So, I left it behind. And I've decided to let some of my other Pokemon stay so my siblings can practice."
" That worked out okay," Max says.
Brock turns to May, "So, May, I hear Professor Oak gave you that little Squirtle, huh?"
"Oh, yeah, I guess it sort of decided by itself it wanted me for a Trainer and I just love it," May says, rubbing Squirtle's head.
"Squritle," (That's right.) Squirtle says.
"You two must've been meant for each other then," Misty says.
"I think you're right, Misty," Gary says.
Then Jen asks, "So Molly, how are things at home?"
"It was fine," Molly says, "Mama is getting better everyday and is able to help papa with Pokemon research. And with their permission, I can go out on another journey, and I ran into Brock. Unown and some of my other Pokemon decide to stay home for some rest."
"That's good to hear," Tomo says.
Just then, the group hears a singing sound.
"Oh, that's mine. Excuse me," Misty says, and answers her Pokegear, "Hello. Misty here."
On the other line is Daisy, one of her older sisters.
Daisy says, "Misty, this is Daisy. We've got a problem here and I don't know what to do. We're totally flooded with Pokémon Trainers today all wanting Gym battles. The lobby is completely filled. So I was wondering, can we just give 'em Gym badges and have 'em come back later?"
But Misty says, "Of course you can't do that. I'll get back as soon as I can but 'till then they'll just have to wait.
"Okay, okay. It was just an idea," Daisy says. "Bye."
Misty hangs up, and lets out a sigh, "I don't know what my sister's thinking sometimes."
"Well, we should probably get going anyway," Brock says.
"You're right," Misty says.
"Great. Then let's clean up and head out for Mt. Moon," Mew says.
"I remember you telling us that Mt. Moon is full of Cleffa, Clefairy, and Clefable," Max says.
"I wonder if we'll see some close up," May says, excited.
But Max says, "Everybody knows Cleffa never reveal themselves to humans."
"Well, with some exceptions," Mew points out.
"Still, Cleffa usually try to be cautious around humans," Gary says.
Suddenly, they hear rustling in the bushes, "Huh!"
Everyone turns to the bushes, and are alert to see something coming out. And as if on cue, a little Cleffa comes out.
"Cleffa!" Max says, shocked.
The little Cleffa then hops out of the bushes and towards the group.
"Cleffa Cleffa Cleffa," (Hello hello hello.)" The Cleffa says.
"I didn't think Cleffa ever came down from the mountain," Misty says, shocked.
"Or revealed themselves around humans," Brock says.
"Do you think maybe it got lost?" Mew wonders.
Tomo then asks, "Hey Mew, can I use my Pokedex."
"Sure?" Mew says.
Tomo brings out his Pokedex and Dexter says, "Cleffa, a Star Shape Pokémon. A Fairy are said to form circles and dance as if they are flying on nights where there are many falling stars."
As the data is being informed, little Cleffa hops around to see Grovyle, Corphish, and some of the other Pokemon in amazement.
" It sure doesn't look very lost to me," Max says.
"Maybe it wanted to meet our Pokémon since they're rare around here," Misty says.
Cleffa happily greeting the Pokemon.
Then May approaches it, "Hi, there, Cleffa."
However, Cleffa becomes startled to see May.
May continues approaching it, "I think you and I were just meant to be friends."
But Cleffa gets scared and hides behind Munchlax.
"Or maybe not," May responds.
"Well, you have to keep in mind how cautious Cleffa are around humans," Brock says.
"You can't really blame it for runnin' away," Max says, "Lots of things run away from May's scary face."
May glares at Max, "What'd you say?"
"See? That's scary or what?" May says, hiding behind Misty.
"Maybe it'll talk to Azurill," Misty says.
"Good idea," Jen says, and brings out her Pokeball, "Maybe it'll like to talk to my Clefairy too."
Jen calls out her Clefairy from the Pokeball. Then Clefairy and Azurill happily greet Cleffa. And Cleffa warms up to them immediately
"Hey, that did the trick," Misty says.
Cleffa is really getting along with them.
"What a great idea," Mew says.
"Way better than someone else's I know," Max says.
May angrily turns to Max, "Hey, here's an idea."
"Huh!" May responds to feel a strange gust of wind.
And soon, Cleffa, Clefairy, and Azurill get sucked away.
May calls out, "Cleffa!"
"Azurill!" Misty calls out.
"Clefairy!" Jen calls out.
And then the three Pokemon get sucked towards some strange vacuum, and the vacuum is attached to Team Rocket's balloon. Team Rocket is doing another Pokemon stealing plan again.
Team Rocket laughs.
"Didn't you ever learn not to leave your toys lying around?" Jessie says.
Seeing them, Brock says, "Team Rocket again."
Mew calls out, "Swellow, fly up and grab those Pokémon."
Swellow flies off and soon rescues Cleffa, Clefairy, and Azurill.
"Yeah," Mew says.
Then Swellow returns with the three Pokemon.
Misty takes Azurill in her arms, "Boy, that was a close one."
"Too close," Jen says, helping Clefairy down.
"It'll take more than one of your contraptions to catch our Pokémon," Mew says.
Soon, the vacuum stops.
Meowth then says, "You're not safe yet, Twerps. That was just a warm-up for our new Pokévac 5000."
"It looks an awful lot like your Sucker For Punishment," Max says.
"Which we blew up," Max points out.
"Yeah!" Tomo says, "What's so different about that overgrown vacuum."
"This is the upgraded model with all new features," Jessie says.
And James says, "And as you might've noticed we're an upgraded Team Rocket as well. You losers can forget about blowing this one up."
"This baby's got enough power to pick ya up like fuzz off a rug. Enjoy your flight," Meowth says, and activates the machine.
Soon, the vacuum begins sucking in harder and sucking up all the Pokemon. Mew quickly rescues Pikachu and Eevee. However, the other Pokemon are put in the vacuum container.
"Bravo," Jessie says.
"We got everyone except for Pikachu and Eevee," Jessie says.
"Saving the best for last," Jessie says, bringing out her Pokeball. She then calls out, "Go, Seviper."
Mew calls out, "Pikachu, Eevee, "Thunderbolt."
Pikachu and Eevee begin to use Thunderbolt.
But Jessie then calls out, "Use Poison Tail."
And Seviper strikes Poison Tail at both Pikachu and Eevee. Everyone gasps in shock.
"Pikachu! Eevee!" Mew cries out.
And they both hit the rock, knocking them down.
Seeing them down, Jessie says, "Hit it, Meowth."
"I've got it," Meowth says, accelerating the vacuum's power.
Soon, it begins to suck Pikachu and Eevee.
"Oh, no," Mew cries out, and rushes over, "I've got you," and grabs both Pikachu and Eevee.
Everyone struggles to stay on the ground.
"Let's give it one more try," Jessie says.
And James says, "Meowth, use full power this time."
"Right," Meowth says.
Then Meowth increases the power.
The vacuum begins to suck Mew and her Pokemon in.
"Whoa!" Mew cries out.
"Mew!" Gary cries out.
He rushes to Mew and grabs her by the waist. He begins to get pulled along with her. Misty, Brock, and the others rush and grab onto each other.
"So you're comin' along for the ride? Fine with me, have fun," Mew says, messing with the controls.
That causes the nozzles to move side to side. However, everyone stands their ground and holds on to each other with all their might.
"Hang on tight, guys!" Brock calls out.
The gang holds on as tight as they can.
Team Rocket sees that the group is not giving up so easily.
"Why won't those flakes flake off?" James questions, irritated.
"I'll take care of this," Meowth says.
But Jessie takes the remote away, "Oh, give me that thing," And begins to work on the control, "As usual, if I want it done right, I have to do it myself."
But the vacuum turns off, making Team Rocket confused, "Huh?"
The vacuum blows out smoke. And then the vacuum begins to blow out air and blow everyone down to the ground. Team Rocket is shocked to see it.
"There's some sort of suction malfunction," Jessie says.
And Meowth says, "You put it in reverse. It's blowing out."
Soon, all the Pokemon begin flying out. Misty catches Azurill and Max catches Cleffa.
"Cleffa," Max says.
May reaches out, "Squirtle," And catches her in her arms.
"Clefairy! Amaura!" Jen happily says and catches Clefairy in her arms.
Amaura happily lands beside Jen.
"I didn't hit reverse," Jessie says, moving the controls, "This thing has a mind of its own."
And because of Jessie messing the control, the vacuum begins to spark and malfunction.
Meowth panics, "Take it easy, Jess. You're gonna burn the motor up."
And then the machine explodes, sending Team Rocket blasting off. The blast also sends Misty, Azurill, Max, Cleffa, Jen, Amaura, Clefairy, Molly, and Pikachu and Eevee blasting away from the group.
"Misty!" Brock calls out.
Mew calls out, "Pikachu! Eevee!"
"Jen! Molly!" Gary calls out
"No, Max!" May cries out.
The group being separated scream as they get blasted away.
Max reaches out and cries out, "May, help!"
May rushes over with her hand out, "I got you, Max."
"I can't reach," Max cries out.
May barely reaches Max, but misses. And soon, Misty and the others fall into the river.
Sometime later, Misty and the others have been washed down the river and are able to reach shore.
Misty asks, "You're not hurt, are you?"
"No, I'm okay," Max says.
"I think so," Jen says.
"I'm alright," Molly says.
Everyone turns to see Pikachu and Eevee heavily breathing in exhaustion.
"But Pikachu and Eevee don't look good," Max says.
"They both took a direct hit from Seviper's Poison Tail, and hit at a rock," Molly says.
"And then hit the water pretty hard," Misty adds.
"I doubt that there's a Pokémon Center anywhere around here," Max says.
"And we're still pretty far from Cerulean City," Jen says.
Then Misty assures, "Don't worry, guys, leave it to me."
"Huh?" The group says.
Misty turns to Azurill, "Azurill, use Refresh on Pikachu and Eevee, and share some of your energy."
Azurill then uses Refresh on both Pokemon. Everyone watches in shock and amazement. And soon, Pikachu and Eevee feel better.
"Pikachu, Eevee, do you feel better now?" Max asks.
Pikachu and Eevee happily answer with a nod, "Fine."
"Awesome," Max says.
"Yay!" Molly says.
Misty says to Azurill, "Good job. Thanks, Azurill."
Cleffa nods in response.
Misty turns to the group, "Now, we'd better find Mew and all of the others."
"You're right," Jen says.
Max agrees, "All we gotta do is head for Mt. Moon, right?"
Meanwhile, Mew and the others are searching for the others. Mew, Brock, May, and Tomo call out their Mudkip to help out. So far, nothing.
"Our Mudkips' radars aren't picking up anything," Brock says.
"There's no telling how far the river might've carried 'em," May says.
Mew then looks at the dark clouds, "And with all these clouds searching from the sky won't do us any good either."
"You're right. It looks like we're in for a big storm," Gary says.
Suddenly, they hear worried sounds. Everyone turns to see a Clefairy and Clefable walking out from the bushes, looking for something.
"It's a Clefairy," Mew says.
"And a Clefable," Tomo says.
"Are they looking for something?" May asks.
They both become stunned and startled.
"Wait, don't run away!" Mew calls out.
Clefairy and Clefable peek out from the bushes, and soon notice Mew and Brock. They are very happy and rush to greet them.
Clefairy and Celfable talk to Mew and Brock, both excited and frantic.
"Calm down you two. It's good to see you again," Mew says.
Brock soon understands, "Hey, we didn't expect to see you guys."
Clefairy and Clefable nod in response.
"You both know them?" May asks.
"We did, when we first came to Mt. Moon," Brock says.
Mew approaches the two Pokemon and asks, "What's wrong you two? You both seem worried."
Both Clefairy and Clefable explain their situation.
"Oh dear," Mew says.
"What are they saying, Mew?" Gary asks.
Mew turns to the others, "They both came down from Mt. Moon to find their Cleffa friend who wandered off."
"I get it. They came down to search for her," Brock says.
The Clefairy and Clefable nod in response.
Back to Misty and the others.
"No wonder you're a Gym Leader thinking to use Refresh like that to help Pikachu," Max says, "And thanks to you and Jen this Cleffa isn't even afraid of us anymore. My sister could learn a lot from you."
"You're being too hard on her," Misty says, "She made it into the final eight in the Grand Festival. Yeah, but that's a long ways away from first place."
"Maybe so, but May did her best," Jen says.
"Yeah. Unlike Mew, who is great when it comes to Pokemon, and she is a great trainer," Max says.
And come to think of it, the same goes for Ash.
Misty giggles, "Oh, Max."
Soon, Cleffa turns around and sounds excited. The group becomes confused. Then Cleffa runs off.
Misty calls out, "Cleffa, where are you going?"
Cleffa however is so excited that she ignores Misty and runs off.
"What's wrong with Cleffa all of the sudden?" Misty wonders.
"It just ran off," Molly says.
Pikachu and Eevee look confused.
Max guesses, "I know, it's trying to get us to follow it 'cause it knows a short cut."
"You think so?" Jen asks.
"Yeah, I'm positive," Max says and hurries off, "Come on, girls, let's go."
"Max, wait up," Misty calls out.
Then the girls follow Max.
However, Cleffa has another agenda in mind. Cleffa is eating a Pecha Berry.
Max deflates, "Oh, well, turns out that Cleffa was just hungry."
"But it worked out for us," Misty says, approaching the tree.
"Huh?" The group responds.
Misty picks a couple of pecha berries, "We don't have Brock with us but at least we have some food."
"That's good. And I am getting a little bit hungry," Max says.
"Me too," Jen says.
"I'm hungry too," Molly says.
"Yeah me too," Misty says, and holds out the berries, "But you first."
Pikachu and Eevee happily eat the berries.
Sometime later, everyone has picked up the Pecha Berries.
"Now, we have plenty so let's all eat," Misty says.
Suddenly, they hear a noise.
And flying into view are a herd of Beedrills.
Everyone screams, "Beedrill!"
Everyone runs away in fear, taking the berries with him.
"Where are we running to?" Max asks.
"Anwwhere far away from the Beedrills!" Jen cries out.
"Guess we picked the wrong spot to have some lunch!" Misty cries out.
Suddenly, they feel themselves no longer running. They all look down to find themselves fallen off the cliff and begin falling as they scream. Misty and her group continued screaming, but luckily, they ended up having a soft landing, thanks to a large patch of mossy cushions. Everyone sighs in relief for the soft landing.
"Oh, boy," Max says.
"That was too close," Briar says.
"Lucky we landed on this soft mossy stuff. Huh?" Misty says.
Everyone agrees.
Max looks around, "But now which way's the mountain?"
Everyone looks at the sky to see the fog rolling in.
"Good question, the fog's so thick I can't even see it," Misty says.
"And that usually means one thing. We're in for a huge downpour," Max says.
Suddenly Molly feels a rain drop, "Huh?"
"Uh oh," Jen says.
And soon, the rain begins pouring down, hard. And then, thunder clashes into the sky. Cleffa becomes startled.
Max picks Cleffa up to comfort her, "Aw, Cleffa, don't worry that's just a little lightning. There's nothing to be afraid of."
"Yeah, but we'd better go find some shelter," Misty says.
Amaur soon spots something, "Amaur." (Look there.)"
The group turns to Amaura's direction.
"Look over there," Jen says.
The group looks and spots a cave.
"We're in luck. There's a cave right here," Misty says.
The Pokemon agree.
Meanwhile, Mew and her group have joined with the Clefairy and Clabable to take shelter from the rain.
Deeply worried, Mew says, "I really hope Pikachu, Eevee and the others are okay. I'm sure they're fine.
"Remember Misty's with them," Brock says.
"Yeah. And Jen is with them too," Gary says.
"I guess you're right," Mew says.
"Yeah. As long as they stick together, nothing bad will happen," Tomo says.
May, however, is very worried about Max. She says in thought, "I was so close to reaching Max's hand. If only I'd stretched a little harder I could've saved him,"
And remembers how she tries to reach for Max, hearing him crying for help. And how he slips out from her close grasp.
May clenches her bag and says with a determined thought, "Don't worry, Max, I'll find you. It's gonna be alright, I promise."
Back to the cave, Molly and the Pokemon are asleep while Misty, Max, and Jen have a chat.
"So you're saying May would've lost, if it weren't for you?" Misty asks.
"Well, maybe not exactly cause she did manage to get a ribbon in the end," Max says, "But it would've been so much easier if she'd just taken my advice in the first place. But I'm not saying I know everything even though I have been studying Pokémon a long time and know a lot more than May does. See, she thinks just 'cause I'm her little brother she can ignore everything I say."
"Well, that's how it is being the youngest sibling," Misty says.
"Huh?" Max responds, turning to May.
Misty explains, "I have three older sisters back at home and they all act like they know everything about everything. Just once I wish they'd break down and admit that I know what I'm talking about.
"Exactly," Max says, "It's terrible being a younger brother or sister."
Jen giggles, "I understand the feeling. My big sister Kate can be a bit of a pain when it comes to being older. Back on the island, she always acts like she knows more than I do," Then she sighs with a smile, "But sometimes, Kate does it because she cares, especially on the trouble we were on the island we were shipwrecked on. We really had to work together despite the conflict between us."
"I know what you mean," Misty says, "But as much trouble as my sisters are, I can't imagine not having them."
"Huh?" Max replies.
Misty turns to Max, "Deep down I bet, you feel the same."
"Uh…" Max responds, feeling unsure.
Then Misty says, "Remember when that explosion blew us off the cliff how hard May tried to reach you and save you from going over? And I know every time I get sick or something happens to me I can count on my sisters to try just as hard to help me out. It's not always easy and I do lose patience with them but those are the kinds of things I have to try to remember and focus on even when they're acting selfish and driving me crazy."
Max begins to take it to heart.
Misty then says, "Anyway we're stuck with each other, so we might as well make the best of it. Not to mention, how would our sisters get along without us?"
"That's for sure," Max says, "You know, May is practically helpless when she doesn't have me around to help her."
"I have to agree, but I also believe in my sister to do things on her own, especially with her being a gym leader of the Orange League," Jen says.
"Then I guess we'd all better just keep on helping them," Misty says.
"That's our job, helping our sisters who don't think they need any help," Max says.
The three chuckle in response.
Misty then notices, "Guys, look outside.
The group looks to see the storm has cleared up, and Mt. Moon is in view.
"It cleared up, and there's Mt. Moon," Misty says.
"Yeah," Max says.
"We're almost there," Jen says.
"Well, let's get going then," Misty says, and turns to the others, "What do you say?
"You bet, the sooner we go the sooner we'll find our friends," Max says.
And with that, Misty and her group begin heading off to Mt. Moon.
Back to Mew and the others, Clefairy and Clafable found a set of foot prints.
Clefairy and Clefable notify the others. Mew and the others rush over.
"Look, they found something," Mew says.
"Yeah, those are their tracks," Mays says.
"And they're still fresh," Tomo says.
"They must've come this way just a little while ago," Brock says.
Gary looks ahead, "Judging by the direction, they must be heading to Mt. Moon.
"So, let's follow 'em," Mew says.
"Yeah," Everyone agrees.
The gang then runs down the trail.
Determined, May says in thought, "Don't worry, Max. I'll be with you soon."
Up ahead, Misty and the others are happily walking down the trail. Pikachu, Clefairy, Eevee, and Amaura are walking along with Cleffa.
"I'm glad that Pikachu and Eevee are feeling a whole lot better now," Max says.
"And I'm glad they all made friends with Cleffa," Jen says.
"Yeah. Look how happy they are," Misty says.
Suddenly, a sucking sound and pulling wind appears again. It begins to pull the Pokemon, but the gang stops it. But then, the wind begins carrying Max away.
"No, Max!" Misty cries out.
Max and Pikachu get pulled away by the wind.
But then, "I've got you," And someone grabs Max's hand.
"Huh?" Max looks and is surprised to see who it is, "Ah! It's May."
Indeed, it's May, who has grabbed Max's hand just in time.
"This time you're not getting away from me," May says.
Soon, the vacuum stops, "Eevee, Pikachu, Molly, there you are."
Pikachu, Eevee, and Molly happily run to Mew and Tomo.
"Misty, are you alright?" Brock asks.
"I'm fine, thanks," Misty says.
Then Clefairy and Clefable appear. Cleffa joins in with her sisters and they are very happy to see each other.
Soon, May demands, "We know you're there, Team Rocket."
"Yeah, so you might as well come out now," Max says.
And soon, Team Rocket begins their motto.
Jessie:
Prepare for trouble, we'll reveal ourselves soon.
James:
And make it double, cause your Pokémon are doomed.
Jessie:
An evil as old as the galaxy.
James:
Sent here to fulfil our destiny.
Meowth:
And then there's me.
And soon, Team Rocket's balloon rises from behind the trees, and their vacuum machine is patched up.
Jessie:
To denounce the evils of truth and love.
James:
To extend our reach to the stars above.
Jessie:
Jessie.
James:
And James.
Meowth:
Meowth, of course!
Jessie:
Wherever there's peace in the universe…
Meowth:
Will be there.
Team Rocket:
To make everything worse.
Wobbuffet:
Wobbuffet (That's right)
Chimecho:
Chim Chim (Right Right.)
"You mean like all of your dumb mottos?" Misty calls out.
"And your dumb schemes?" Jen adds.
From the balloon, Jessie says, "Well, they can't all be gems."
"Maybe not, but you have to admit the people saying them can be charming," James says.
And Meowth says,"But the real jewel in our crowns will be stealing your Pokémon."
Team Rocket happily cheers singing, "And a big promotion here we come. Team Rocket."
"Wobbuffet," (Big promotion) Wobbuffet says.
Then Team Rocket are ready for their scheme.
Meowth says, "That was your cue. Cleffa, Clefairy, Clefable, come on up," And activate the machine.
Everyone holds their ground and the Pokemon as the vacuum begins to do its work.
James calls out, "You see, unlike the old version of Team Rocket we actually learn from our mistakes and change things."
"So this time we added a special release filter that will discard any unwanted humans we might drag up," Meowth says.
Mew says, "Hang on tight, everyone."
Everyone does their best to hang on.
Misty calls out, "Bubble Attack now."
Azurill then performs Bubble Attack and the vacuum sucks the bubbles. It causes the machine to short circuit and it explodes. Team Rocket's balloon soon crashes to the ground.
"Way to go!" Misty happily says.
At the crash site, Team Rocket is now out of the balloon basket, and on to the ground.
"Since a Bubble Attack brought us down, I guess you could say our Pokévac didn't pass, it's physical," Meowth says.
"Wobuffet," (You can say that again.) Wobbuffet says, dizzy.
Frustrated, Jessie says, "Not only that, I'm boiling mad."
"Yeah!" James agrees.
Jessie calls out, "Seviper, let's go!"
And Seviper comes out.
James calls out, "Come on out, Cacnea!"
Cacnea comes out, but is already performing a hug attack on James.
James panics, "Not me, attack them."
Suddenly, Cleffa lets out a cry, "CLEFA!"
Followed by Clefairy, "CLEFAIRY!"
And then Clefable, "CLEFABLE!"
The group looks at the three Pokemon in confusion.
"What's going on?" Tomo asks.
"I think they're calling for help," Mew says.
The three Pokemon continue to let out a cry. And soon, more Cleffa, Clefairy, and Clefable arrive.
Even Jen's Clefairy decides to join in.
"Clefairy," Jen says, surprised.
Team Rocket, including Mew and the others are confused.
"Where'd they all come from?" Jessie questions.
And James asks, "And what exactly do they want?"
"Maybe they came to welcome us to the neighborhood," Meowth suggests.
"Wobbuffet," (Looks like it) Wobbuffet says.
But the Cleffa raises their paws, the Clefairy, including Jen's Clefairy point their finger up in the air. The Clefable do the same.
Jessie begins to feel uneasy, "Or teach an aerobics class."
Soon, all the Cleffa, Clefairy, and Clefable begin waving from side to side.
May soon realizes, "Hey, wait a minute, isn't that.."
"Metronome. Right?" Max says.
Soon, Max, May's and Tomo's Munchlax comes out and begins performing Metronome as well. Even Misty Clefable comes out to perform the attack.
"Our Munchlax," May says.
"Clefabe," Misty says.
"Metronome brought it out of their ball," Mew says.
Soon, the Cleffa jump up and down as they chant. Soon, Meowth, Cacnea, and Seviper jump up and down as well.
"And it's making me move," Meowth says.
"Metronome's unpredictable. There's no telling what attack it will turn into," James says.
And Jessie says, "Well, at the moment, it's just Splash Attack and that certainly isn't much of a threat."
Soon, the Clefable also begins dancing around. Jessie, James, Chimecho, and Wobbuffet dance too.
"Hula dance," Meowth panics.
"What'll they do next, take us to a luau?" James questions.
And Jessie says, "Maybe they think if they make us happy enough we'll forget what we came for."
"Wobbuffet," (Seems so.) Wobbuffet.
However, Misty's Clefable, Jen's Clefairy, along with Tomo, Max, and May's Munchlax begin to perform a Solar Beam attack with the group of Clefairy.
Meowth panics, but still dancing, "They're distracting us while they power up a Solar Beam Attack."
"Seviper, Use Poison Tail," Jessie panics.
And James calls out, "Cacnea, use Needle Arm."
Both Pokemon begin to perform their attacks.
But then Mew calls out, "Pikachu! Eevee! Thunderbolt!"
Pikachu and Eevee perform their attacks and zap both Seviper and Cacnea. They both fall and skid to Team Rocket.
Jessie cries out, "Aah! Seviper."
"Cacnea," James panics.
And soon, the Pokemon group performs Solar Beam.
Team Rocket screams in panic and runs away, "Time to go!"
But the Solar Beam attack manages to strike at Team Rocket and send them flying.
"Team Rocket's blasting off again," Team Rocket screams.
And soon, they are gone.
Once Team Rocket is defeated, everyone cheers happily.
May happily says to Munchlax, "Wow, Munchlax, I didn't know you could use Metronome."
May's Munchlax happily says.
"You really are full of surprises, you know that?" May says.
May's Munchlax agrees.
Max hugs his Munclax, "That was awesome that you used Metronome like that."
"You did great, Munchlax," Tomo says.
Both Munchlax happily feel pleased.
Jen then says, "You did a great job, Clefairy."
Later in the evening, the Cleffa and their evolved forms head back to Mt. moon.
"There they go," Mew says.
"All the Cleffa, Clefairy, and Clefable are headin' up to Mt. Moon," Gary says.
The Pokemon agree.
"It's a full moon tonight so they'll probably be doing a Moon Dance," Misty says.
"A Moon Dance?" May and Max say, confused.
"What's that?" Jen asks.
Brock explains, "It's a ceremony they have where all the Cleffa, Clefairy, and Clefable dance through the night in front of a Moon Stone located on Mt. Moon."
"Wow!" Max and May reply in amazement.
"Do ya think we could go watch 'em?" Max asks.
"Sure," Brock says.
"Yeah. They trust us well enough to let us see them perform. And I'm certain they wish to thank you for protecting one of their own," Mew says.
Later in the night, on the full moon, everyone watches the Cleffa, Clefairy, and Clefable perform their moon dance. And it seems they have a brand new Moon Stone in their place, since the last adventure.
Soon, the Clefable, Cleffa and Clefairy soon present something for Max and Jen.
"Whatcha got there?" Max asks.
And then Clefable reveals two Moon Stones.
"They're Moon Stones," Jen says, surprised.
"Are they for us?" Max asks.
Cleffa and Clefairy nod in response.
Then Max and Jen each take the Stone.
"Thank you," Max and Jen say.
Then the three return to their Moon Dance. Everyone enjoys it with excitement.
The next day, Mew and the others left Mt. Moon and are now making their way to Cerulean City
"That Moon Dance was really cool," Max says.
"I've never seen anything like it before," May says.
"It's really magical," Jen says.
"And they are very happy dancing around the stone," Molly says.
Suddenly, they hear ringing.
Misty takes out her Pokegear, "Oh. Probably my sister again."
And Daisy answers, "Where are you, Misty? I can't keep these people waiting any longer. I'm just gonna give them all badges."
"Don't do that," Mistry says, "Look, we're down from Mount Moon now so I'm pretty close by. I'll be there soon, okay?"
"Alright, hurry up then. Goodbye," Daisy says.
"Well then, it's best we hurry," Mew says.
"Come on guys, let's go," Misty says.
"Cerulean City, here we come!" May says.
"Yeah!" Everyone cheers.
And soon, everyone begins making a run to Cerulean City, so May and Mew can compete in the Pokemon Contest, and Tomo can get ready for his very first Gym Battle. As the journey continues, the three trainers are planning to give it their all.
