It’s insane to build your house deep in the woods, right on the edge of a clearing that’s got a fairy ring dead at the center of it. No person who understands the danger of such an action would undertake it willingly; not unless they were wilfully ignorant or suicidal.
Clint is not willfully ignorant or suicidal. He’s not totally sure if he’s a hundred percent sane, though, and from the way Natasha curses as she helps him build his cottage here a half day’s walk away from the nearest town, she is absolutely one hundred percent sure he’s not.
