I got tired of seeing the lack of actual substance in historical rusame fics. Won't be exclusively rusame as i want to showcase multiple pairings!
Following the first Red Scare, Alfred had always been on edge with Russia's influence in America. That being said, Alfred had no trouble forgoing that to savor his love for Ivan. However, when it comes to a direct influence in the Second Great War, and the consequential Cold War between America and Russia, Alfred finds himself being torn between his love for Ivan as Alfred and his hatred for Russia as America. At what point does being a nation disregard his capabilities and emotions as a human, and when does his loyalty to his country lose to his desire for Ivan?
