My Lovely Gargoyle

Summary:

Ivy is a living gargoyle, as well as the adopted daughter of the Arroyos. After spending her whole life crushing the Mendoza's, she finally got them out of Spanish Harlem and was hailed as a savior.

But now she has to move on and finally be something she has no practice in. A working adult. So she tries day by day to see the world past the little portion she lived in.

During that time, Ivy gets pestered by her sister Sophia for a while to try and put herself out there. Nervously she's taken a shot at a few guys, but they weren't interested, which she took alright most of the time.

Then he came along into her life one night, a boy whom she fell for harder than anyone ever before him.

(I really like Ivy and have seen literally nothing about her with a reader insert from anybody, so I'm throwing my hat in the ring. Also I wanna try making this my first long chapter count story not counting any cross posts from Wattpad, so look forward to more whenever I feel creative.

I wanna make a more dynamic story based around the readers character so don't expect every chapter to have too much in terms of sexy stuff.)

Chapter 1: That Boy In The Armor

Chapter Text

-The Cursed Apple--Pre Ritual--September 9th 1949-

It was a simple quiet night, just as it always was before a ritual. 12 gathered to battle for a single wish each, and among them was Ivy.

She was talking with the ones who she knew were there to help her, her team so to speak. Bebop was her favorite because unlike so many others in this city, he had manners and knew etiquette.

Being a gargoyle given life Ivy didn't feel like she really fit in among others outside of Spanish Harlem, however she managed to still find people who she really enjoyed the company of, "Ivy, you know who the last bloke joinin' is?" Their last member was late.

She knew who it was alright, "He usually runs late on Saturdays." That little comment from her made her golem ally realize who it was, "Right, he's sharpening the harpoon." Through the veil leading into the room where they'd be resurrected a man walked through.

A strapping young lad, early 20s from the looks of it, dressed in diving gear. He had ropes, knives, a rifle in one hand and a harpoon with a gleaming edge in the other. He staggered in, holstering his weapons with a pant, "Sorry I'm late, fell behind on a commission..." He was still wet all over, dripping with water from the nearby bay.

He unlatched his helmet, pushing it up to hang off his back for fresh air, "God I hate the smell of fish... How did I ever get into this line of work." This young man is Y/N, an apprentice dock worker who specializes in both on shore and off shore fishing/mining of enchanted minerals.

He ran his hand through his hair, loosening it from that stuffy suit after working in it for hours on end. Bebop knew Y/N, the boy was a friend of Ms. Shelly and sold her both materials and fresh fish at a discount. He also knew that Y/N was a fairly focused and work oriented person, meaning he was most likely not active in the dating world, so he's single.

Something Bebop knew Ivy knew. She stopped talking the second she saw him pop that helm off, as though the very sight of his face made her lock up. Y/N took the time to check his equipment, "Damn it, is my gun jammed?" Her eyes locked on him, watching him work with his weapon as the ritual finally began its starting steps.

Her tail swayed a bit more actively, seeing his frustration in how he smacked his rifle, "C'mon you stupid... Works underwater my ass..." The way he gritted his teeth, firmly trying to pry the stuck bullet out with his finger had Ivy wish she had a collar to pull on.

The tall metal man chuckled, bumping her with his elbow. She snapped back to reality, her hands covered her face when she realized how obviously she was just eyeing him up. Bebop bumped her back with his large arm, "Go on, you two pair up well." She smiled up at him and ran over to Y/N.

He still struggled with getting the stuck bullet out due to his gloves, but he was sure giving it his all, "Ahem, may I?" Her tone reached him, so he relinquished the chore to her, warning her about how it was really in there- "Here." She handed him back his rifle and the bullet.

He took them back, "Wow. Ivy, I just gotta say, you're such a talented person." She bashfully rejected his compliment, holding onto her hand behind her back while twisting her foot around into the ground to expell her shyness, "N-Nah, it's just that I'm not as afraid of getting my fingers caught in there." Y/N chuckled, "Guess being able to turn into stone at will has its perks, right?"

The cheeky smile he gave her made Ivy nearly burst. He stood up, loaded up his gun, and bumped her shoulder, "How about it, York looks like it needs us this time. Wanna lane with me?" Her smile couldn't be bigger. The two of them went to their side and waited, talking shop in the meantime.

The gargoyle eventually brought up how much she likes musicals, especially South Pacific. Y/N playfully pushed her shoulder, "Shut up, no way! That's my favorite one, too!" He even managed to get one of the only video recordings of the live show with the original cast, "You... You have to let me watch that!" Her excitement was cause enough for him to say yes, "Why don't you come over to my place after the ritual? We can watch it there."

She wanted nothing more, but told him it was unlikely that she would stay, "I have to keep an eye on the Arroyo's, keep them safe, you know?" Y/N held up his hand, "Say no more. I'll lend it to you, you can watch it with them and tell me what you think at the next ritual." Y/N turned and began securing his gear.

Ivy wanted to do both things, but she had to choose. A night with the guy she was totally head over heels for, or another night of jumping at shadows for the sake of protecting her family. Selfish or selfless, Ivy naturally gravitated to the latter.

"Kay, tighten the knot, hold on tight... I'm ready."

-Post Ritual-

Ivy and Y/N walked the streets glum and defeated. Y/N had sharpened his baby for nothing, and Ivy wasted a night chasing wishes. The young man fell onto his side atop a bench, groaning in pain while Ivy entered a phone booth.

She called her sister, asking about her day and whether she was safe. But Ivy didn't expect to hear her say, "I'm fine, hermana. We all are, you shouldn't need to be worrying yourself all the time. You should be seeing the city like you said you would." Ivy responded saying she had seen plenty already, "Carlos says he wants you to meet people, and you seem fond of that one boy, right?" Ivy looked over her shoulder.

Y/N laid back with a stray cat clawing at his helmet, "Sí, but-" Sophie interrupted her sister, "No buts! You've never liked anyone like this before, ever. Don't you want to act on it and seize the moment?" Ivy quietly agreed, she did wanna live life a little looser.

"So go spend some time with him. Maybe you'll finally get that dulce trozo de carne to go out with you, eh?" Ivy laughed with her, but appreciated the confidence boost. "Night sis, love you." Ivy hung up and exited the booth, finding yet more cats clawing at him as he groaned, "I wish I was always dead..."

The loss had really gotten to him, hell it would've gotten to most people losing a free wish like that. But just as all things do, he had to just deal with it like a trooper. Luckily Ivy was there, standing over him with a smile on her face, despite the rips in her hat and holes shot into her overalls.

He begrudgingly sat up, scaring the cats off with the pressure releasing from his helmet being loosened enough to take it off. Ivy sat next to him, he hands coyly placed in her lap, watching him pop his neck, "Christ, we got our asses handed to us." It's like saying it made him realize it wasn't all that big of a deal, "Oh well, I got two days off and I'm gonna enjoy 'em."

Ivy cleared her throat, "So... Is that invitation still on the table?" Y/N obviously didn't have anything going since he invited her in the first place, so he said yes, "Alright. So uh, where do you live?" Y/N got up and stretched out, pointing down the road, "Nearby. Right across the street from Ms. Shelly."

Ivy hopped onto his back, "I don't want to risk you falling off, so I'm gonna hold on tight. Is that ok?" He gave her a thumbs up, Ivy flapped her strong wings, taking flight with him in her arms. The air blew through his hair so fast, she'd never flown this fast with him before.

"Hey Ivy, I've been wondering. Is your hair real?" Unfortunately it wasn't, seeing as she was a living statue and all. Y/N nodded, "Right over there, 5th floor, 3rd building on from the left." Ivy set them down on the fire escape, which Y/N left unlocked since nobody would bother robbing a fisherman.

He took one step through the window, inviting her in while he took off his gear.

This was the first time Ivy visited someone alone in a friendly manner like this. She was very mindful of her wings and tail, making sure not to hit the glass on her way in. While she closed the window, Y/N asked if she wanted something to drink, "Oh, I don't really drink that much, but if you maybe had some Agave Spirit...?" With a cheeky snap of his fingers, he walked out of his kitchen, "Be right back, make yourself at home."

Ivy set her gun against the wall with his, her heart was racing. This place was so comfortable, so warm and so... Fragrant, it smelled just like him. Well aside from the suit he tossed into his bathtub, but that was to be expected with all that nasty water.

Her bright eyes took it all in. Based on the books he had lying around he was fairly good with transmutation, "I think I heard him talking about this with the Professor." She looked at books closer, it showed more detailed explanations of how to alter non loving object to have a soul, while also giving them a psuedo organic body in the shape of their previous form.

Being a bright girl, Ivy knew what he was looking was about her. Maybe he brought her here to try and figure out exactly how she was made, "Sorry I took so long, forgot that I left my shot glasses in here." Once he finished joking, he noticed what she was looking at. Ivy stepped back quickly, holding her hands up, "I didn't mean to look!"

Y/N approached the table, picking the book up with a smile, "So you saw it? Yeah, I'm trying to... Figure you out." He went over to a corner with felt bean bags and sat down, he asked her to sit down. So she took the other one, waiting with a fearful away in her tail.

"Ivy... Hell, I'll just say it, I think you're amazing." As she always did, Ivy bashfully said that she was only doing what she thought anyone should do. Y/N clarified, saying that her being an amazing and kind hearted person was her most endearing trait, "But that's not what I'm getting at. Ivy, how long have we known each other?" Ivy could remember it nearly perfectly.

They met in August last year. Ivy liked Y/Ns honest and upfront attitude, while not being overly pushy he also refused to work with anyone who was actively working against him and his goals. What those goals were exactly alluded Ivy, but know him they were nothing bad.

"I was thinking about you a lot during that time, and wanted to do something for you." He often thought about her ability to transform into a normal statue at will, as well as switch back at any time. "I believe that your current form, while accurate to your original, is incomplete." She asked what he meant, but realized immediately, those books weren't just about finding out what she was and how she came to be.

"Right now I'd say you're roughly half organic, half inanimate." Her body was alive, but wasn't normal by any means. She didn't bleed, she didn't sweat, cry, or have anything. Ivy got to eat dinner with her family sure, but there's more to life than just family. She hardly got to enjoy any wonders of life. She was smooth all over like a stone.

He grabbed her hand and offered a solution. "Ivy, I want to try and finish your transformation." Her eyes casted down, she was hesitant to have someone mess with her body using anything she was unfamiliar with. But the more she thought about, the more she realized how it would be great.

She doesn't want to be eternal, her whole family will disappear generation by generation before her eyes if she lives like this. It may not be soon, but it'll come some day.

Her cold, scaly stone textured hands held his, "Will it hurt?" Y/N nodded, "But only for a second." Before he could start however, he had to take note of the things he'd need to take care with, "I assume you feel emotions normally, what bout physical things?"

Ivy did feel things, but not to the extent that naturally organic people do. "Pain, tiredness, arousal, butterfly in your stomach, that kinda stuff?" While it was embarrassing to answer, she slowly gave him his answers. Y/N nodded, stood up, and brought her to another room with a sigil on the floor with candle lit around it.

"Before we start, once more... Are you sure you wanna do this?" Ivy had come too far now. His kind smile calmed her down, so with a deep breath, Ivy took off her hat, wig, and overalls, placing them next to him. "Just as a warning, you'll be completely naked once it's over. I'll just close my eyes, too." She knelt down in the circle, closed her eyes, "I'm ready." And prepared.

Y/N grabbed the page, tore it out, made it smolder with dark orange flames, and shoved it onto her chest, making it sear into her body, "Gghh...!" Ivy held on, feeling a burn spread through her as her dark skin glowed the very same orange, "Just hang in there, it's just about..." The embers of the paper burned off of her body, returning It to its gray hue.

She fell forward, panting heavily. She tried to look at him, but long, unruly black strands covered her vision. A shiver ran up her spine, her body was so cold but much softer, she had- "Did it work?" Ivy jumped up and hugged him, nuzzling her head into his chest like a puppy, "Te amo..." Ivy couldn't take it, she just hiked him onto her shoulder and carried him back to his bedroom.

"Did it go wrong? I knew I shoulda brushed up on my Spanish." She gently rolled him onto the bed, crawled onto him, and pressed her head to his, "Open your eyes." He slowly opened one, seeing her goofy, cute face smiling at his. "Hey, the hair worked! Thankfully I-" she put her finger on his lips, shushing him.

Ivy had already said it, but... "Te amo means... I love you." A giant discoloration spread across her face, she was finally blushing. Y/N chuckled, "Um, ha... Muh, me?" That sly smile made him instantly just as nervous as her, he didn't quite catch onto her very clear signs that she was super into him before, but c'mon.

Ivy snickered, "Yes you." Y/N did also have feeling for Ivy, but didn't think they were serious. Now however it was evident that they were, as his body reacted on its own. His hand found its way to her cheek, "Hmm?" His thumb gently grazed across her face, petting and caressing her.

The girl leaned closer, and without another word, pressed her lips to his, giving him her first kiss. Her tongue slithered into his mouth, wrestling with his while she rubbed her new body against him, "Mmm~" Ivy moaned, biting his lip gently, she giggled a little, "I want you, Y/N." She sat back, showing him her body once again.

Though they weren't every big, breasts appeared on her chest, along with a cute little slit at her crotch, "I never had any places to feel this fire you gave me in..." She rubbed her crotch into his, grinding slowly, "I want you to be mine, for every last day we have in this city." He palmed his chest, engulfing his clothes in magic that transported them off and to the side.

Ivy trembled, his penis was sandwich between her sweet aroused pussy and his stomach, "I um... Wow." It's warmth was in direct contrast to her cold body, but that felt good. Y/N put his hands on her waist, holding her sensually while she watched his cock rise with vigor.

Y/N quickly turned his body, rolling over with her, he pinned her onto her back, "Oye!", it took her by surprise. But that was just what Y/N wanted, to see her cute, sexy scaly body sprawled out on his bed, meekly looking up at him with the big eyes.

They both held bated breaths, poised for entry, Y/N slowly sunk his length into her. Ivy arched her back, grabbing her head, "Ooohh my...!" The surging electricity in her fired pleasure through each and every part of her body, especially when he began thrusting, spreading her gargoyle pussy wide open for his fat cock.

Ivy laughed a little, holding onto his shoulders, her teasing voice egged him on, "I know you can d-do more than this..." Even when his tip was kissing her deepest parts, she focused on him. His face, his eyes, the look on his cute face when she moaned for him.

"You're so... F-Fast... Oh my god..." Ivys eyes rolled back a bit as she came uncontrollably, clenching tightly on his cock. Her legs wrapped around him, trapping him deep inside her while she whined, "Dentro... Por favor, háganlo dentro..." Ivy brought her lips back to his, making out while his willpower broke.

Ivys womanhood was pumped full with the warm, loving seed of the man before her, spilling out onto the bed. Ivy didn't bother thinking about anything else right now, she just wanted him to sloppily play with her tongue and body like a cute submissive girl.

...

After calming down, Ivy idly traced her finger on his chest, listening to his heart beat like a drum. "Sorry I sprung that on you, it's just that before you always got me so worked up and I had no outlet, then you..." His soft hands pet her through the hair she could finally call hers, "Ivy, do really wanna... Y'know, be my girlfriend?"

She rolled her eyes, "Duh. Figured that was pretty clear." Typically another witty response would come, but he just held her closer, "Now I can keep you safe, too." Her cheeks discolored again. Ivy nuzzled into him, muttering as she fell asleep.
