(A, kind of, fix-it fic set after season 2)
Cuphead is just like any other sinner in Pentagram city, just trying to live day by day, except for the fact he'd sold his soul to the Devil when he was alive and now has to pay for his mistakes. He's at Lucifer's beck and call, an errand boy as well as a hitman.
After getting kidnapped by Vox and nearly cutting Hell in half with his powers, Lucifer uses Cuphead's fighting prowess to force respect from his subjects, as well as for a bit of fun. He manages to keep it a secret from Charlie and her friends, but only for so long.
Cuphead soon discovers that Lucifer might not have been the worst person to sell his soul to, as a certain radio demon takes an interest in him.
