Chapter Text

Izuku watched as the villains started absolutely pouring out of the portal, and he was definitely curious about the user's quirk, as having a natural warp quirk is extremely rare.

Izuku started planning, as this was not the type of thing you wanted to run headfirst into.

The villains shouldn't be too dumb to at least have some sort of way to jam the system, so Izuku should do that first.

He opened up his watch, and noticed the signal dropping as the seconds ticked on. That meant he didn't have much time, so he needed to hurry.

Izuku sent an email to Nedzu, though decided to word it in a way that would guarantee their arrival.

Attack on USJ

Izuku was going to call Nedzu as well, and hopefully save time, but he, of course, lost signal the moment he pressed the call button. There wasn't even a chance to allow Nedzu to answer, though Izuku was grateful to have even been able to send anything at all, considering the rapidly growing number of villains emerging from the portal.

Izuku saw Eraser run down the stairs, and engage with the villains. Thirteen was with the students, so that was good at least.

Izuku decided to engage with Aizawa, and hopefully help take the villains down. Though he did make sure to gauge the situation first.

Izuku knew they were small fry the moment Aizawa was able to take down three simultaneously the moment he jumped in.

Izuku analyzed the situation, and tried to find any weaknesses they could exploit, or any weaknesses they were exploiting. While Aizawa was fighting, he noticed how all of the villains were hetero-morphs, which was definitely a plan made to counter Aizawa.

Izuku didn't allow himself anymore thought, considering the fact that they were swarming Aizawa now. He could keep up, but not for much longer.

Izuku ran out from the shadows, and was able to take a good amount of villains out. Mostly the ones who were surprised by his outburst, but a few tried to fight back. They weren't any match for a vigilante who was completely focused, and had no regard for himself at the time.

Izuku grabbed his pipes. Making sure they were normal length, he started on the villains overwhelming Aizawa. He was a key player at the moment, so they couldn't afford any injuries on their part.

The villains were much easier to take down with the two of them, and they diligently worked together. As two, they were a force to be reckoned with. From knowing Jasper and his fighting style for so long, it wasn't hard to fight in complete harmony.

This is the one time Aizawa is actually glad Jasper is here. If he wasn't, Aizawa would still protect his kids with his life, though it was much easier with Jasper.

Izuku would normally talk a whole lot, but he hadn't been feeling like it ever since the last episode. Right now, he was concentrating on the next incoming villain. This entire class was counting on him, and he wouldn't let them down. That included Denki, Bakugo, Monoma, and Kirishima. He couldn't let them down. He wouldn't.

_____

Back at the entrance, a blue-ish figure emerged, engulfed in a fog-like aura.

“I'm afraid I cannot allow you to leave.” The figure sounded old, but also young at the same time.

“Iida! You have to go and warn the teachers!” Thirteen's voice sounded throughout the entrance, laced with her determination to protect these kids.

“But-!” Iida tried to protest, but Todoroki decided he better say something.

“She's right. You're the fastest one here.” Todoroki stated. No one expected the compliment, but to Todoroki it was simply fact. “Go!”

Making an extremely hard decision, Iida was practically forced out of the door.

The figure, named Kurogiri, tried to warp him back inside, but Iida's speed prevailed.

The figure opened up multiple portals, sending them to different places around the USJ. Hakagure, Aoyama, Uraraka, Ashido, Sero, and Shoji were left with Thirteen, having been able to avoid the portal.

_____

Back in the shipwreck zone, Himiko, Monoma, and Tsuyu are stuck on the ship, which is currently being surrounded by villains.

“We need to come up with a plan, kero.” Asui stated, looking over the edge. “I could try and jump us out of here, but I don't know if I can carry two people.”

“I can easily copy your quirk.” Monoma stated, earning an eye roll from the blonde girl.

“That could work. I can carry Toga, and you can jump yourself.” Asui stated. She definitely had quick thinking, and was able to react accordingly each time.

“Ooo! That'll be so fun!” Faced with danger, Himiko wasn't really scared. She'd met so many villains in her life, they just didn't scare Himiko anymore.

“Of course you're the one who's not paying attention to the villains currently surrounding us.” Monoma scoffed, though he as well was unusually calm. Maybe it was a coping mechanism, he'd never know.

“Hey! I see how you look at Shinsou all the time!” Himiko stated.

Monoma subtly blushed, though forced it off of his face as reality fully dawned on him.

“Whatever. Let's go.” Monoma grazed arms with Asui, and copied her quirk. Luckily it wasn't a blank, so that didn't hinder their plan at all.

“Ready, kero?” Asui asked, wrapping her tongue around Himiko.

“I'm always ready!!” She announced, putting her hands up to allow Asui more room to grab onto her.

“Hopefully they won't try and attack us, kero.” Asui stated. They didn't really have other options, though. It's not like someone here had a strength quirk, or something.

“Yeah! That'd be really bad!” Himiko announced, planning what she'd do if that happened. I mean, she loved Tsu and all, but not enough to use her quirk. Not yet, at least.

“Well, here goes nothing, kero!” Monoma stated, his tongue elongated to match Asui's.

They jumped across the water, landing safely on the other side. The villains were too dumb to realize what was happening until they landed safely.

____

Over at another zone, Jirou, Yaoyarozou, and Kaminari were trying to fend the villains off.

Kaminari was doing a splendid job of not using too many volts, as this was really not a good time to short circuit. He'd be absolute toast if that happened.

“Kaminari! You need to use your quirk to take them out!” Jirou yelled, trying to fend her own villains off.

“I can't! I'll short circuit! You guys really don't want me dumbed down to that point!” He yelled, using the techniques Izuku taught him with slightly more voltage to actually take the villains down. Some required more than others, but Denki was thankful Izuku had helped him control his quirk better.

Speaking of… was he here? He couldn't be, could he?

“What's the voltage amount you can safely use without short circuiting?” Jirou yelled throughout all the chaos.

“Umm, probably around 300k?” Denki said. He'd been careful not to use too much, though he didn't have much left anyway.

“What does that do to people!?” Yaoyarozou asked, still fighting her own villains. They had barely been taught any combat yet, so she was definitely glad she trained lots beforehand.

“It depends! In weak people it might kill them!” Denki took down another villain, and quickly moved on to the next. “It might not do anything for others!” He yelled over the boisterous USJ.

Yaoyarozou quickly started making something, and to Denki's surprise it was a.. What was it? It obviously didn't conduct electricity, but he had no clue what those were called.

He watched from his peripherals as Jirou and Yaoyarozou hid under the blanket after making sure there were no villains in their immediate vicinity.

“Give it all you got!” Jirou yelled, peaking her head out slightly for better sound travel.

“Umm.. Okay!” He tried to be enthusiastic about it, but he really didn't want to short circuit. Oh well. If anyone asks, it wasn't his idea.

He focused his energy around him, hoping that blanket didn't completely fry Yaoyarozou and Jirou.

He released his electricity, already feeling the illiteracy start to kick in.

Holding onto his electricity for as long as he could before short circuiting, Denki looked around, and noticed the lack of most villains. Some were still trying to move, while others were on the ground unconscious, though still breathing.

“Oh my gosh.” Denki heaved as he bent over, and put his hands on his knees. “Yeahh!” Denki stated. The other two didn't know if he said that, or if he actually short circuited.

Yaoyarozou quickly noticed one villain standing, though dazed slightly. She made a piece of metal, and hit him with it, effectively knocking them out.

“We better get back to the others.” Jirou stated.

“Yeah.” Denki stated, dramatically carrying himself.

Yaoyarozou put a conforting arm around Jirous shoulders, who thanked her for the comfort.

____

Back in another zone, Bakugo and Kirishima were effortlessly beating villains up. Okay, they weren't beating them up, but effectively leaving them unconscious with little injuries.

“Nice!” Kirishima stated, taking care of two of the last villains.

Bakugo put his hand up, signalling for him to be quiet while he strained to listen.

Bakugo immediately turned around, and punched someone in the face, who was invisible. “Gotcha fucker.” He taunted.

“Woah. How'd you figure out they were there?” He asked, amazement in his voice.

“I felt movement or whatever. If you're invisible, you gotta at least be fucking stealthy.” He snarled.

Kirishima stared at Bakugo, and noticed the soft expression on his face.

“We better find the rest of this damn class.” He stated, though no malice was evident in his voice.

“Oh, um, yeah.” Kirishima agreed, not wanting anyone else to see Bakugo like this. Okay, maybe he was slightly jealous of anyone else who got to see Bakugo like this. He'd be surprised when that list only held his name, unless Hitoshi brainwashed him.

“Ei, are you coming?” Bakugo scoffed.

The nickname definitely caught Kirishima off guard, and made him intake a quick breath.

“Yeah.” He stated, following Bakugo out of the building.

_____

In a different zone, Tokoyami, Koda, and Ojiro were fighting the villains, though Koda mainly led them to the other two.

“Dark Shadow, get them.” Tokoyami commanded, taking out his own fair share of villains as well. Ojiro was quite handy in this situation, as he was able to take them down easily with his good combat.

Koda continued to lead different villains to the other two, which was working quite well for them so far.

“Once were finished, we better get back to the others.” Ojiro stated.

“Indeed. Let's finish this dance of darkness.” Tokoyami stated.

____

In another area, Todoroki was taking down multiple villains at once.

“Tell me, why are you here?” Todoroki asked, encasing the villain even further in ice.

“Fine!” The villain relented. “We were told if we helped with this we'd get a fat paycheck!”

“I don't believe that.” Todoroki coldly exclaimed.

“I swear! It's true! We were never told we were gonna attack kids!”

It seems like those kids are beating the villains pretty well if you ask almost anyone.

“I promise! It's true!” The guy whined, trying to do anything to get out of the cold iciness encasing him.

Todoroki left him there, and started taking down even more villains.

____

Back at the entrance, Thirteen was stationed in front of the kids, ordering them to stay put.

“The heroes should arrive soon!” Thirteen tried to soothe the scared kids, but she found that almost none were scared.

They all had looks of determination on their face, even if that look was mixed with slight fear. These kids are gonna grow up to be amazing heroes, and she'd do anything to protect them.

“You can't save everyone.” The voice stated, opening a portal in front of Thirteen that led behind her. Suddenly, part of her back was ripped as she turned her quirk off.

“THIRTEEN!” Uraraka yelled as she ran up to the fallen hero.

The rescue hero collapsed, though she was still breathing.

Almost all of the students immediately jumped in front of Thirteen, though one didn't know what exactly to do.

“I won't let you hurt her!” Uraraka jumped into a fighting stance, ready to fight whatever villain this was.

“Very well.”

____

Nedzu was watching over class 1-B, as 1-A was currently away. Normally he'd watch over the cameras, but he supposed he better watch in person.

So he left his computer, and basically everything in his office.

Class 1-B was going to the USJ next week, and Vlad King was currently teaching them different fighting styles. They weren't doing anything yet, as Vlad King was still explaining everything, but it was nice to see who was paying attention and who wasn't. In exercises like this, it definitely showed if they weren't paying attention.

Aizawa should be checking in soon, though Nedzu wouldn't put it past him if the man fell asleep. As long as Thirteen was still explaining everything, or the students didn't need his help it was fine.

Nedzu checked his phone, or what Aizawa's comm was connected to.

All of a sudden, Nedzu's keen senses heard pounding footsteps in the distance. He immediately cranes his head and ears, hoping to hear the person better. It might be All Might, but he hadn't departed to the USJ yet.

He saw Iida, the engine of class 1-A running furiously towards them.

This was not a good sign by any means. If they ever sent a student to get help, that meant the teachers were stuck handling something else.

“Nedzu-sensei!” Iida yelled. The entire class of 1-B turned to look at him. Some held snickers behind their faces, as this was definitely an odd sight. Others were extremely worried, as this was not normal.

“The USJ is under attack!” Iida started slowing down as best as he could, and only half-crashed into the nearby bushes.

Nedzu's stomach sank. How did villains manage to infiltrate one of the most guarded places in Japan? He'd figure that out later, as he had pro heroes to collect.

“Thank you, Iida-kun. Kan-kun, sound a code blue.” Nedzu announced.

“Class, make your way back to your classroom. There will be someone watching you shortly.” Nedzu commented.

Vlad King opened his phone, and texted the group chat with the emergency button Nedzu had installed.

Vlad King: code blue.

_____

All Might had realized something was incredibly wrong when he realized Young Iida was running back to UA from the USJ, and at such a high speed too.

He had been on his way to the USJ, considering he'd rested up enough to last the rest of the students were going to spend at the USJ.

“Young Iida!” All Might's loud, and exuberant voice radiated off of the things surrounding them.

“All Might-sensei! Iida was coming up fast, and he knew he wouldn't be able to stop in such little time.

“The USJ is under attack! I can't stop, so I'll tell Nedzu-sensei!” He announced, running right past All Might.

“Thank you, Young Iida.” All Might whispered to himself before running to the USJ.

____

“How do you like all of these NPCS!?” Shigaraki yelled, throwing his arms out to his sides in some sort of T position.

Izuku and Aizawa were finishing up with the last few, which were slightly tougher than the last, but nothing they couldn't handle.

“That's not even the final boss!” Shigaraki yelled.

“I'm sorry, young Tomura. One of the students escaped through the entrance before I had arrived.” Kurogiri stated, appearing at Shigaraki's side.

“Whatever.” Shigaraki waved him away. “If All Night isn't here, we'll just inflict pain onto these NPCs to show how we will kill All Might!” Shigaraki maniacally laughed, though it was short lived.

Kurogiri opened a large portal, much to Izuku and Aizawa's creeping horror.

For some reason, Izuku felt some sort of connection. He concluded it was most likely his emotions going haywire again, much like earlier. Little did he know about the sinkhole he was about to fall in.

“Nomu, rough them up!” Shigaraki demanded. Izuku could've sworn he recognized the man from somewhere, but he didn't remember when. Of course he didn't remember.

Izuku stood in a fighting stance, readying himself for whoever was going to come out of the portal. They couldn't be too bad. Aizawa was thinking the same, hoping it was another petty criminal.

Izuku and Aizawa both gaped at the enormous, un-human-like monster standing in front of them.

“Um, what is that?” Izuku asked, trying to figure out anyway the creature in front of them made sense.

“He's my bio-engineered pet! He listens to whatever I say, and was made to withstand All Might at his highest!” Shigaraki laughed again, not caring that he looked like a child.

Izuku's brain ran through every possibility as Nomu charged.

Aizawa tried to punch the thing, but it didn't even flinch. It must have some sort of pressure absorption quirk, or something like that. Anyone would flinch at least a little bit at a punch like that!

“Did I forget to mention he has a shock absorption quirk!?” He yelled, watching the chaos unfold in front of him.

Izuku felt a pressure start to appear in his head, but he quickly pushed that to the back of his thoughts. Right now, Aizawa needed him!

Izuku jumped back to the present, watched as Aizawa was stuck dodging all of the punches Nomu threw. Some were extremely powerful, and Izuku could feel some of the wind gushes at his place.

Izuku grabbed a ninja star, aimed it quickly and accurately, and threw it at Nomu. Half of it was stuck in Nomu, and Izuku silently cheered himself for such a good shot.

He immediately cursed himself for celebrating too soon as Nomu pulled the star out of his shoulder in one smooth, quick motion. He showed no signs of pain whatsoever, which is what made Izuku sick to the stomach.

“Did I mention his other quirks?” Shigaraki mentioned it like it was something as insignificant as the weather.

Aizawa was still dodging Nomus attacks, though he was tiring much easier this time.

Shigaraki jumped down from his perch, and decided to monologue a little. I mean, what villain didn't?

“I've been timing your quirk time, Eraser. I didn't know when you activated it, but I quickly found an indicator.” He pointed a finger at Aizawa, who was barely paying attention, but still listening.

“It's your hair! It stands straight up when you use it. The first time was 33 seconds, the second 31 seconds. The third time was 28 seconds, and the fourth 27. You're slipping, Eraser!” The villain maniacally yelled.

Izuku grabbed his metal blades, and decided he better take Shigaraki down.

He snuck behind the villain, making sure to walk as quietly as possible.

As soon as the villain seemed fully distracted, Izuku went for it. He ran forward, and using his metal pipes, Izuku jumped up and smacked Shigaraki on the shoulders.

“You brat! You were supposed to be an NPC! Actually, you weren't even supposed to make an appearance!” Shigaraki snarled.

Izuku was unsure of his quirk, though he knew it had to have something to do with all five finger tips. He never touched anything with all five, and always had one finger up in some sort of way.

“I know why you're so familiar!” Shigaraki and Izuku started going back and forth, Izuku diligently dodging every punch and kick. Izuku could tell he wasn't a very skilled fighter at all, as he barely used any effort to dodge.

“You're that annoying opponent who took away an important upgrade!” He snarled.

Izuku didn't really know what he was talking about, until he thought back to his earlier vigilante days. The day he'd saved Dabi from the blue-haired man, who was actually Shigaraki.

“You were going to disintegrate his arm!” Izuku suddenly remembered the man-childs quirk, as he had been able to make contact with Dabi's arm briefly, if Izuku was remembering correctly.

“Hah! So you are that annoying boss that prevented me from upgrading!” Shigaraki snarled.

Izuku could see Aizawa tiring out of his peripherals, though he never stopped. The Nomu showed no signs of fatigue at all. It didn't even look human, and Izuku supposed it probably wasn't. Shigaraki had said bio-engineered, so that was definitely not human.

Izuku missed the way Shigaraki's hand subtly moved out of Izuku's field of view and landed on his elbow.

He didn't cry out in pain, and Izuku barely flinched. It didn't hurt that bad, so he shrugged, and continued fighting Shigaraki.

“Jasper!” Izuku heard Aizawa yell, his face a mixture of worry, and boredom. He still had to keep that scary teacher act up, even in a time so dire.

Izuku dodged out of the way of Shigaraki's hand once more, though he realized the mobility in his left arm wasn't the best. He quickly disregarded that fact, and decided it wasn't worth fussing over. It didn't even hurt, so he was probably fine and over reacting.

Aizawa looked over, and noticed the blood dripping down Jasper's arm. Part of his sleeve, or the part wrapping around his elbow was also gone, leaving a hole.

Aizawa looked closer at that hole, and noticed the huge part of Jasper's elbow literally missing. It looked like someone wrapped their hand around a nice part of his elbow, and literally took it.

Blood was pouring down Jasper's arm, but the boy didn't seem to notice. The dark crimson color stained a nice part of his shirt, though Aizawa didn't know if that was from a different injury.

In that split second Aizawa was distracted, the Nomu gained on him, and forced him to the ground.

“Aizawa!” Izuku yelled as soon as he heard the crunch of the man's face.

Shigaraki had given up the fight with Jasper, instead turning to stand by Kurogiri.

After crashing Aizawa’s face down into the ground a few times, Nomu decided that simply wasn't enough. Or maybe it was Shigaraki's commands that were powering the thing.

It twisted Aizawa's arm, which quickly became soaked with the fresh crimson color. Aizawa cried out in pain, considering the injuries he'd just received.

Nomu decided that wasn't enough, and went for the other arm as well. Soon, both of the man's arms were obviously broken, and his face smashed.

“AIZAWA!” Izuku yelled, running to the man.

“Nomu, play with him for a bit.” Shigaraki smirked. Giving a player a side quest which they couldn't ignore was genius.

Izuku dodged the Nomu with ease, anger and other emotions churning inside of him. He didn't care about his own health at the moment. All that mattered was Aizawa. One of the first people to care about him.

Izuku didn't realize the fact that he wasn't using his left arm at all, instead only caring about killing the dang animal who dared hurt Aizawa.

“You villain!” Izuku yelled out, ignoring the black figures in his sight completely. After a little bit of time, they dissipated. Izuku wasn't wasting his attention on them, so they couldn't stay.

Izuku jumped on top of one of the monster's hips, or what he thought resembled one. He quickly scrambled up to the top of the Nomu, not caring that he was leaving an apparent trail of blood.

He grabbed a ninja star, and smashed it into the Nomus brain.

Aizawa was still groaning on the ground, half conscious.

_____

We have to do something!” Monoma stated.

“Yeah, we should.” Himiko agreed, completely opposite of what she'd said before.

“There's nothing we can do, ribbit.” Asui stated.

Aizawa was dodging Nomu, and the other person was fighting Shigaraki.

Monoma groaned out of frustration. They couldn't just stand there and do nothing!

Silence fell upon the group as they watched the scene unfold in front of them. Their faces written in horror, they stood there and watched as Aizawa was relentlessly beaten up by the monster thing.

Soon, the attention focused on Aizawa was now focused on the other who was there, which only one of them knew.

“We-we have to help Aizawa-sensei.” Asui stated. “He looks like he's fighting that creature, and there's an opening.”

“Jasper's got it.” Himiko stated, a jump in her step.

“Who's that?” Monoma asked, trying to distract himself from their teacher's bloodied and bruised face.

“He's a vigilante.” Himiko stated, not following up further.

The other two nodded as they crept closer, using stealth to grab their now unconscious teacher.

Asui was able to grab him with her tongue, meaning they didn't have to get too close.

The group walked to the entrance, only to see an unconscious Thirteen as well.

“W-what happened?” Uraraka asked, tears threatening to leave her eyes.

“They've got some sort of monster. H-he..” Himiko looked at her teacher. The first teacher she's had that hasn't treated her any differently. Who didn't show their clear dislike for the poor girl. She crouched next to her teacher, and started looking over the injuries. There wasn't much she could do without medical supplies.

The group understood well enough, and gulped at the sight of the two teachers.

“W-who's fighting him now?” Uraraka asked, almost afraid of the answer.

“Jasper. He's a vigilante, but he has good intentions.” Himiko stated, a newfound hope in her eyes. “I believe in him.”

Just then, Tokoyami, Ojiro, and Koda came up the stairs. Ojiro's tail was bleeding, while Tokoyami and Dark Shadow looked exhausted.

“We were able to defeat the banquet of darkness surrounding us.” Tokoyami stated solemnly. Koda nodded, agreeing with the boy.

Yaoyarozou, Jirou, and Denki walked up the stairs, and onto the platform.

“Oh my gosh! Aizawa-sensei! Thirteen!” Yaoyarozou started running the moment she saw her two teachers unconscious on the ground.

She immediately started making different bandages, and gauze.

“Come on! Press these onto his arms! We have to stop the bleeding!” She commanded. The rest of the class immediately started helping in any such way they could.

Denki overlooked the USJ, not wanting to crowd Aizawa. He had almost no knowledge in first aid, and he really didn't want to make the problem worse. He noticed the distant figure dodging the Nomus punches and kicks. He squinted a little bit, trying to look closer.

He realized it was Izuku, though in his vigilante gear. No, he shouldn't be here! He could get hurt! Denki was about to leave when he realized the three figures moving to the fight, having clear intentions of fighting and helping Izuku. He sighed, nerves wrapping around his entire being.

“I can stitch up his wound!” Himiko stated. Now that she had supplies, aka Yaoyarozou, she was in full hero mode. She should definitely ask for a first aid kit to be placed on her costume after this.

Yaoyarozou immediately created a stitching needle, and the necessary string for it. Himiko gratefully took it from her, and started stitching up Aizawa's arm.

“It's not the best, but it'll have to do for now.” Himiko stated. “Hopefully the heroes arrive soon.”

_____

Izuku was now on top of the Nomu, and trying to figure a way out to stop him. At least until the heroes get here. He couldn't fight this guy alone, and continue dodging for eternity.

He grabbed his pole, and shoved it into the Nomus exposed brain. Normally, he would be totally against harming someone, but desperate times called for desperate measures.

Izuku used his right arm to shove it into the Nomus brain, not even realizing his left arm was completely nonfunctional for the moment.

The Nomu screeched, but showed no signs of moving for itself. I guess the fact that Nomu can't move for himself is a plus. He would've been sacked off by now.

Izuku gritted his teeth, and pushed the pole deeper into the beast's brain, hoping it caused sufficient damage.

Apparently it did, as Nomu stopped responding for a little while.

The creature was encased in ice, and Izuku looked over to see Katsuki, Kirishima, and Todoroki standing there, ready for a fight.

Izuku was about to call out to them, but quickly remembered that Katsuki was the only one out of the three who actually knew his identity. So he decided to go for the worried, ‘I'm helping’ version.

“It's dangerous.” He tried to sound worried, but he simply didn't have the energy for that.

“Yeah, and we don't care nerd.” Katsuki remarked, already propulsing his way forward.

“Why the actual fuck are you here?” Katsuki asked genuinely. To anyone else, it might've sounded angry, but it sounded curious to Izuku.

“I had a bad feeling, so I kinda decided to break into the USJ.” Izuku stated, jumping off of the temporarily incapacitated Nomu.

“You brat! You ruined my game! You prevented me from leveling up again!” Shigaraki snarled.

Katsuki laughed at the comment. He's attacking one of the most prestigious hero schools in Japan, but yet he talks like this? He has got to be kidding.

The Nomu was apparently not done fighting, though he was weakened slightly.

“Nomu, kill them!” Shigaraki demanded immediately upon seeing the beast wake.

Todoroki and Kirishima ran forward, curious as to why Bakugo suddenly knew this person. Todoroki encased the creature in a much tighter, much thicker layer of ice, which held him for the moment.

“So you came on a hunch?” Katsuki scoffed. “You idiot. You're going to get caught soon.” Katsuki looked down, and noticed the boy's arm, and lack of a full elbow.

“What the fuck.” Katsuki stared at the boy's arm.

Izuku looked down, and saw the noticeably large pile of blood on the ground. It felt familiar somehow, though he forced his mind to divert from that train of thought.

Izuku looked down at his arm, fully this time. “Oh.” He stated, though his voice sounded almost confused.

“You're missing half of your damn elbow, and all you have to say is ‘oh’!?” Katsuki scoffed.

Shigaraki and Kurogiri were having a conversation, and they both made no attempts to further attack.

“Well, I didn't really notice it. I mean, it doesn't hurt.” He stated, trying to lift his arm up, but failing. “Huh.” Izuku exclaimed.

“Dude, are you okay!?” Kirishima asked, not really caring who the boy was.

“Oh yeah, I'm fine.” Izuku waved his other arm, which didn't convince any of the three.

“Jasper.” Todoroki made the connection, considering their rooftop conversation.

“Oh, hey Todoroki.” Izuku stated, trying to get the image of his blood and organs in the ground out of his mind.

“You need medical attention.” He stated, his ice cold facade staring into Izuku's soul.

“It doesn't hurt, so not really.” Izuku countered, like that did anything to convince them.

“Yeah, cus you're running on fucking adrenaline.” Katsuki stated.

“Katsuki, do you know him?” Kirishima asked.

Bakugo and Izuku turned to look at each other.

“I kinda forgot you don't know.” Izuku admitted sheepishly.

“Know what?” Kirishima asked, suddenly feeling very stupid.

Just then, a loud crash was heard from the entrance, and All Might walked in.

“All Might's here! And he's not smiling.” Kirishima stated, forgetting the previous conversation.

All Might jumped down next to the still struggling Nomu, who is trying to break free of the ice.

“Villains!” All Might announced.

Shigaraki smiled, as his target came right to him. Like the man was served on a silver platter, and handed straight to Shigaraki.

“Nomu, break through the ice and kill All Might.”

The Nomu immediately broke free at the command, which Izuku thought was weird.

The group quickly moved out of the way, seeing the fight start to intensify.

All Might and Nomu went back and forth for some time before All Might punched him out of the USJ.

He stood there, taunting the villains.

Izuku knew better. He could see the smoke rising off the man, he could see the tenseness in the man.

While everyone was watching All Might, Izuku quietly left the group, and made his way to the exit.

The rest of the heroes came soon after, and arrested a lot of villains.

Izuku was able to leave without problem, but he met Denki’s eye as he was leaving. The boy looked so worried and sad, it made Izuku sad to see.

He offered a small smile before leaving the USJ.

____

Nedzu decided to not check his email, considering the predicament they were in. He had teachers to tend to, so why would he check his email at a time like this?

Nedzu and the other heroes strode through the door, not knowing what they would find.

Nedzu already called Tsukauchi, and the paramedics; It would be stupid of him not to. Very few times have all heroes made it out unscathed after a villain attack. Especially villain attacks when there's only two pro heroes there.

Nedzu almost gasped at the sight, but managed to keep his demeanor on.

On the platform, all students except for three stood, hovering over two very injured teachers.

Nedzu could say the students did excellent in helping where they could, considering the two students diligently working on Aizawa. It seemed they already stitched up one of his wounds, which Nedzu would admit looked exquisite. They sure had some future heroes on their hands.

The teachers immediately got to work rounding up the still conscious villains, which were very few. Many more were unconscious, though they didn't look extremely injured.

“We will see you all again.”

Nedzu looked to the furthest point on the platform, and saw the blue-ish black, foggy, misty villain warp over momentarily.

A few teachers tried to arrest him, but he warped back down to where the other main villain was standing. Nedzu noticed All Night standing there, bluffing.

“Cementoss.” Nedzu requested.

Cemontoss got the cue, and ran down to where All Might's figure stood.

“We'll be back, All Might.” Shigaraki snarled before walking into the portal.

Cementoss created walls around All Might, allowing the man to deflate.

“Thank you.” All Might coughed out some blood, but was overall alright.

“No problem.” Cementoss replied.

The teachers worked diligently to arrest the unconscious villains, which were a lot more than they initially thought.

Aizawa and Thirteen were led away on stretchers, unconscious.

“Good job, students. I'm sorry we were not here sooner.” Nedzu remarked, seeing the distraught faces on some of the students. “If anyone is injured, please walk outside to the first responders.”

A few students walked away, though no one was seriously injured.

Nedzu was definitely worried about this predicament. The vultures wouldn't let go of this story for a while, which wasn't good.

He'd have to make sure that never happened again.

Nedzu turned to look at the roof of the USJ, and smiled his toothy, beady smile at his favorite vigilante.

Of course he knew Jasper had been there. Aizawa might not have been alive otherwise.

Nedzu saw the boy startle slightly, before turning to leave.

Aizawa was definitely right on one thing; Jasper was a student they needed.

____

Izuku caught Kaminari's eye as he was leaving. Thanks to All Might, he'd left a nice exit hole in the USJ, where Izuku could easily zip line to.

He smiled at the boy, though Denki couldn't see it through his mask.

Oh, he's probably worried about his arm. Oh well. It doesn't really hurt anyway.

Slightly unbalanced, Izuku ziplined to the hole in the roof. He climbed out quietly and stealthily.

As soon as Izuku walked on top of the roof, he scrambled over to the entrance. He watched from the roof as they took Aizawa and Thirteen away on stretchers.

If Aizawa wasn't okay, Izuku might actually commit a crime. Okay, he wouldn't, but still.

Izuku's blood boiled just thinking about the stupid villains who attacked. What nerve did they have attacking and almost killing his favorite hero, and only parental figure he's had in years?

They sure had a damn nerve to pick. Especially Shigaraki. How dare he attack two of Izuku's people? The audacity.

Izuku calmed down a little bit once he saw Aizawa being properly taken care of, and Thirteen as well. He noticed Present Mic sneak onto the ambulance transporting Aizawa, and he smiled that at least someone was watching over him.

Some of the other students were being checked out as well, though no injuries were serious.

Recovery Girl was there as well, and took care of the students' injuries. Most were small, so it was probably better for her to handle them.

Izuku looked around, and noticed Nedzu standing around.

The rat definitely seemed to have a lot of things on his mind, which is expected from a situation like this.

Okay, why was the rodent turning around? What nerve did he have to look at Izuku like that? Why was he smiling directly at Izuku like that?

Izuku startled, unsure of what to do about that problem.

Ugh, I guess he has to leave now. I mean, he doesn't want to get caught or arrested, or anything like that.

Maybe he'll have to sneak into the hospital later to check on Aizawa, or something like that. Maybe check on him through the window. Gosh knows he probably wouldn't make it past security, and Present Mic might be there as well. Maybe Hitoshi. He didn't want to get caught.

Izuku turned, and left, Nedzu's eyes following his movements until he was out of sight.

Of course the black figures just had to follow Izuku. They couldn't have gone and stalked anyone else, could they? They were definitely starting to get on Izuku's nerves.

They'd watch him all the time, but they wouldn't react to anything he did. Unlike before, if Izuku looked directly at them they'd disappear, but now they were permanent in his life. Just Izuku's luck.

Why couldn't they just leave? Everyone else hated Izuku, and probably left him by now, except for those stupid figures.

Izuku ran for what felt like a minute or two, but he was soon at his apartment complex.

What? How'd he get there so soon?

Izuku started walking up to his apartment, and after just a few steps reached his own.

He threw the key into the hole, only to find it already unlocked. He'd locked it before he left, right?

He opened his apartment door, and threw his vigilante gear off into the specified room before changing into more comfortable, everyday clothes.

Crap. He forgot he had to work today. Well, it's already past time, so he should ask if someone could take it. He could say something family came up last second, or something like that.

Izuku: Hey, can you take my shift today?

Izuku waited a few minutes before Aima responded.

Aima: We already agreed I would take your shift?

Izuku cursed himself for forgetting, but decided he'd been busy enough to grant him that pass.

Izuku: Right! Sorry, I forgot! Thank you anyway!

Aima: No problem. Hope everything works out

With that, Izuku closed his phone. Maybe he'd unwind by watching TV. Yeah. Maybe a few comfort hero documentaries. That'd be nice.

Izuku sat down, forgetting about his arm. At least the blood was dry now, so he wasn't leaving a trail anywhere. Part of his elbow was still missing, though.

Izuku clicked on one of his favorite hero documentaries.

Underground heroics.

It didn't show very many underground heroes, but it gave a run down of what they do, what skills they specialize in, etc.

It was perfect for Izuku, considering his situation. He hadn't even thought to learn some stuff off of this video. Maybe it just slipped his mind.

Izuku pressed play, and numbly watched the screen.

After about five minutes, Izuku was starting to get slightly bored with it. He had to do something. He couldn't just sit here anymore.

Izuku grabbed and checked his phone. Astonishment flooded his face as the time read 4 hours later than when he remembered starting the movie.

Izuku had only watched five minutes of the documentary.

He saw dozens of messages from Hitoshi, Katsuki, and Denki.

Best to not worry them with his small problems. Izuku didn't even understand what they were getting so worked up about. Sure, he couldn't really move his left arm, but that wasn't too bad. Look at Aizawa! He almost died!

With a groan, Izuku made and texted the group chat with the four of them.

Izuku: I'm fine, seriously

*Bakugo changes his name*

Great explosion murder god: NO THE HELL YOU'RE NOT

Hitoshi: I wasn't even there and your arm sounds horrid

Denki: I saw the blood dripping down your half intact elbow Izu.

Izuku: it doesn't even hurt

Izuku: the blood dried so it's fine

Bakugo: HALF OF YOUR GODAMN ELBOW IS GONE IDIOT

Bakugo: GO TO A FUCKING HOSPITAL

Hitoshi: um what the actual hell

Hitoshi: what happened

Izuku: Shigaraki disintegrated part of my elbow

Izuku: not that big of a deal

Izuku really didn't know why they were so worried over nothing. Sure, it didn't look the absolute best, but it was fine. There were so many more people who needed help more than Izuku did. He wasn't about to waste a hospital's precious time on someone as useless as himself.

Denki: Um that's not normal Izuku

Denki: Please get it checked out

Izuku: it's seriously not that big of a deal

Izuku: Idk why y'all are making such a big deal out of it

Hitoshi: maybe it's cause we care, and oh, idk, maybe because half of your GODAMN elbow is missing

Izuku visibly rolled his eyes at that. It was quite frankly impossible for anyone to care about a quirk less nobody like him. Maybe they're trying to get him caught.

If he went to a hospital he'd be at high risk of getting caught.

Izuku: I seriously don't know why you care so much

Izuku: unless you're trying to get me caught

Great explosion murder god: Dipshit

Great explosion murder god: we would've told Aizawa ages ago if we wanted you caught asshole

Izuku supposed that makes sense, but maybe they didn't want to be responsible for it. Maybe they wanted him caught without directly telling anyone. That would make sense. They probably didn't want to get in trouble for knowing someone as useless as him.

Izuku: whatever

Denki: I'm coming over

Izuku: what the fuck

Izuku: are you trying to hang up on me or smth

Denki: What!? No! I just want to see u and make sure ur alright!

Denki created a group chat with himself, Bakugo, and Hitoshi.

*Denki, Bakugo, and Hitoshi GC*

Denki: is it just me or is Izuku acting really off

Bakugo: you're finally using your brain for once

Hitoshi: and the fact that he claims his arm doesn't hurt

Hitoshi: like WTF??

Denki: I've never heard him talk like that

Bakugo: he seemed all defensive and shit

Bakugo: it's fucking annoying

Hitoshi: and worrying

Denki: I'm worried about him

Denki: he didn't even say anything about taking care of his arm

Bakugo: cause he's a dipshit like that

Hitoshi: if it gets bad enough I'll tell Aizawa

Hitoshi: I know he probably wouldn't trust me anymore but it's better if he's safe

Denki: I know

Denki: I just wonder what's wrong

Denki: like did something trigger him

Hitoshi: idk

Bakugo: go check up on him dipshit

Denki: I need to check in with my mom first

Denki: because we kinda just got attacked by villains you know?

Bakugo: whatever

Hitoshi: I'm sorry

Hitoshi: I wish I would've been there

Bakugo: it's not your damn fault

Bakugo: it's those damn villains fault

Hitoshi: aww you do care

Bakugo: what the fuck

Bakugo: fuck you

Denki: We should so show Kirishima

Bakugo: fuck all of you

Bakugo: I hope you all burn in hell

Hitoshi: we know you love us too

Bakugo: bullshit

Bakugo: I'm done with every fucking one of you

Hitoshi: yeah everyone except Kirishima

Hitoshi: don’t worry we get it

*Bakugo has left*

Hitoshi: wow

*Bakugo, Izuku, Denki, and Hitoshi GC*

Izuku: thanks ig

Izuku: fine Ig you can come over or what ever

It'd be better if Denki just came over, and saw his arm. Then he wouldn't be so worried. He'd see that it's completely fine, even if it's lacking a little bit of movement. It should return though.

His arm isn't even a big deal. Yeah, it's a little injured, but it's fine. Why won't anyone understand that!? It's so infuriating.

Denki: My mom says it's fine

Denki: I'm omw over!

Izuku: ok

Izuku hoped the creatures would go away. Maybe then they'd stop mocking and laughing at every little thing he does.

Maybe they'd laugh at Denki too, so he wouldn't be alone. Hopefully Denki could make these things go away.

Notes:

So it's the end of Q3, like the Saturday after it ended, and one of my teachers JUST put (on sat morning today) a 45 point assignment I have no memory of doing.. To say I'm scared is an understatement. :(
