This storm's intense...even Altaria's having trouble staying aloft.
I saw something trying to navigate this harsh weather...I couldn't ignore that sighting. That could be a Trainer trying to get to safety. So, wearing only a raincoat, I hopped aboard my Altaria and took off with Raichu by my side. I hate leaving Liko and the others in the cold, but time (and our lives) is not on our side right now.
I'm lucky I brought along my Rotom Phone for this. Otherwise, getting a good view of what's up ahead would have been an issue. Using both the phone and my experience in navigation, I'm able to get some idea of what's up ahead of me.
It's black and...wait, is that?
That's a Corviknight! And I have an idea as to who they belong to.
"They're west of here, Altaria! Go!" I commanded.
My good friend steeled herself and flew in the direction I instructed her.
Sure enough, once Altaria gets close enough, I can hear his voice up ahead. My heart's pounding right now...could just be nerves. Keep it together...
A little closer...
Hang in there a bit longer, Altaria...
Raichu squeaked and pointed to the young man riding on his Corviknight and trying to navigate this rough weather.
"Amethio!!"
It takes some effort, but we're able to get close enough and get Amethio's attention.
"Yvonne?!" Amethio called out.
"What are you doing out here?!" I questioned. "This weather's crazy! We gotta get to solid ground!"
"Young woman!!"
I know that voice!
Our attention turned to a muscular man braving the waves onboard a familiar Sharpedo. That pose...that bravery...a hero emerges!
"Allow me to aid you in getting them to safety!" Mighty G called out.
"Thank you!" I call back to him.
My attention turned back to Amethio.
"This storm's getting stronger!" I called out. "Trust us and trust him! Let's get somewhere safe!"
On Mighty G's instructions, I guided Amethio to his trusty Sharpedo. He soon mounted on the Brutal Pokémon and recalled his Corviknight.
We were ultimately able to get to the island and take shelter in a nearby cave.
"Thank you, Altaria," I praised, petting my Shiny friend. "I know it was rough, but that Dragon Rush helped us keep up with our hero."
Raichu nodded "yes" in agreement. Altaria chirped happily in response.
"You helped me once again. Thank you."
Our attention turned to Amethio and for once, I gave off a smile.
"I admit, that was risky," I began. "But I couldn't ignore someone who needs help."
I look at the person who helped save Amethio next. He was praising his Sharpedo for a job well done.
"And thank you, Mighty G," I continued. "We couldn't have gotten out of this without you."
The man simply struck a pose in response.
