Lucifer’s phone kept making noises.
Alastor lifted his head from the pillow, turning slightly to look at his partner. Lucifer slept soundly, apparently unaware of his stupid newfangled phone misbehaving. His ears were not as sensitive as Alastor’s were.
The Radio Demon squinted at the clock on the wall; it wasn’t even six o’clock yet. He picked up the phone from the night table. Words kept popping up on the screen and then disappearing again.
