Chapter Text
Lionel groaned as he came to.
It didn't take him long to notice the ropes tying his hands together behind his back or the duct tape over his mouth.
He shifted uncomfortably, confused and a bit afraid. He'd been through horrors unfathomable to most, but there was still something extremely violating about waking up in an unfamiliar location, and especially being tied up on top of that.
Looking around, he realized that he was surrounded by a number of other figures, though none of them were all that clear due to the darkness they were submerged in.
Suddenly, a spark of light appeared to his left. He looked over to see a teenager with a buzzcut and a lighter in his hand, doing his best to burn the ropes around his own hands.
A large door opened from above, making Lionel realize they were in a basement. The boy quickly dropped the lighter behind his back in fear of getting caught.
Standing in the doorway was a man wearing an off-white, devil-like mask which concealed his features.
"Meal time" the man announced, kicking a large platter of eggs down the stairs before walking away.
Lionel swallowed thickly as the man left once more, shutting the basement door behind him.
What kind of Hell have I found myself in?
