Lloyd's POV
“Nekoze! Use your cataclysm!” Ladybug instructed, pointing to the staff that the akumatized villain was holding.
Lloyd was confused for a moment, then it hit him, “Oh! That’s me!” He remembered, “How do I do that?” He asked her.
Ladybug looked like she was about to lose her mind, “Just say cataclysm and touch the staff!” She instructed.
Lloyd looked down to his hand, humming, “Uh.. cataclysm?” And suddenly his hand had a black glow. His eyes widened, then he touched the staff.
Ladybug had captured the akuma, then had a little talk with the poor man who had been akumatized. Lloyd stood there, waiting so he could talk with her. When Ladybug was done, she turned to see Lloyd. She gestured for him to follow her. Lloyd did just that.
The two of them sat on the eiffel tower, looking down at the people below. “So, how has it been living Chat’s life?” Ladybug asked.
Lloyd shrugged, “It’s fine, but not gonna lie he has a pretty sad life, but you probably already know about that.” He assumed.
Ladybug looked at him, a confused look on her face, “What? What do you mean?” She asked.
“Well, he's got no parents, can’t even clean his room, and some other stuff that you might already know so I won’t get into it because it seems pretty personal.”Lloyd explained.
Ladybug shook her head, “What? I.. I had no idea.”
Lloyd’s eyes widened, “Oh. Shit. I might need to learn to keep my mouth shut.” he sighed, leaning back so he could lay down, “I am kinda screwing up with living this double life. I don’t know how you or anyone else can do this.”
“What is life like for you back at home?” Ladybug asked, “I can only imagine it’s not as bad as it gets here.” Lloyd could not help but start to laugh. Ladybug gave him a look, “Why are you laughing?” She asked.
“I am not making fun of you, and I will agree your world has some pretty messed up stuff in it, but my world,” He hissed through his teeth, “It’s something else. I have lost count of the amount of times some new villain shows up and tries to take over the city for some reason. They also want me dead, want my uncle dead, want my power, pretty much anything like that.” He shrugged.
Ladybug cocked an eyebrow, “Wait…power?” She asked.
“Yeah, I have this green energy power thing. I am not really sure what it is but I know it’s green. I also used to be able to move mountains and had a golden like power but the overlord stole it from me and I haven’t had it back since.” he explained. His eyes widened, “Oh, I also have Oni power but I don’t use that.”
“Oni?” Ladybug repeated, “Wait, like from Japanese mythology?” She asked.
Lloyd sat back up, “Oh, Oni are real. You are looking at one right now.” He said.
“You’re an Oni?” She asked, “Sorry, it’s hard to tell since you are currently dressed like a cat boy.” She claimed.
“Kai would make fun of me if he saw me right now,” Lloyd sighed, “Want me to detransform? I can show you my ears, my powers-”
“You said you looked identical to ChatNoir in civilian form, I can’t see you because then I might figure out who Chat is and I can’t know that.” She explained, “But I believe you, no need to show me your powers. So do you have any idea on how you and Chat could have swapped places?” She asked.
Lloyd shrugged, “In my world we have this thing called the realm crystal, but it was destroyed a long time ago thanks to my idiot father. Technically I was the one who destroyed it but it was his idea. Anyways, that would only take us to one of the sixteen realms. I wonder if there was another crystal but instead of realms it would be universes.” He wondered out loud.
“One time we had some visitors from a different universe, but that was because of Betterfly. I don’t know if the new butterfly miraculous would have thought of that unless she knew Chat’s identity.” She rambled on to herself.
Lloyd sighed, “I just wonder how we can switch back. It’s not like we have the power to travel to other universes.” He pointed out.
Ladybug’s eyes lit up, “Wait! We might just have that power!”
