Summary
Kaz turns left, narrowly avoiding being creamed by a car he should’ve been yielding to. He’s coming home from work after carefully inspecting every inch of his car for anything; trip wires, sticky things, noise makers, the like.
Jesper has been trying to prank Kaz all fucking day. He hasn’t succeeded yet — and if Kaz gets his way, he never will — but Kaz knows for a fact that Jesper is not going to let up about it until he does succeed. Even if it takes longer than April Fools Day Proper would allow.
Kaz drums his fingers on the wheel, waiting for this light to turn green so he can turn down his street. Maybe he should just…pretend. Pretend that Jesper “got him.”
But no, because last time he tried that, Jesper caught on immediately and kept trying anyway.
Ugh.
