Chapter 92:

The conversation with Traian the night before was weighing heavily on Harry’s mind—so much so that he couldn’t even hear the conversation taking place right in front of him.

‘If what Traian said is true, this is a major escalation from the Romanian Vampires! And of course, Mrs. Zabini will have to be killed. She not only helped endanger the lives of every student here, she worked in tandem with a foreign government to assassinate British nobility! I can easily make the case to the Minister that she needs to be killed for High Treason, but do I really want her to be Kissed, or do I want to handle it myself?’

Suddenly, Harry felt someone shoving him back and forth by his arm. He looked over and saw Draco focused hard on him.

“My lord, are you all right!? We’ve been trying to get your attention now for a good ten minutes!”

“O-Oh. I’m sorry,” Harry replied with a quick shake of his head. “I was just thinking about things.”

“It must be serious if you’re this far gone from what we’re talking about right now!” Tracey said.

“It’s serious all right. Very, very serious. But, I won’t say anything more about that.”

Tracey was clearly disappointed.

“Now, what’s going on?”

Tracey regrouped and delivered her report.

“Last night, Sirius Black broke into Gryffindor Tower!”

“WHAT!”

“Yes, my lord! From what we understand, Sirius Black had an entire list of passwords for the Gryffindor Common Room, and when he got in, we went straight to the dorms and yanked the blankets off of Ron with a knife in his hand!”

Harry processed that as best he could.

‘Sirius wasn’t barking mad when I saw him in Azkaban, so why would he target Ron? That doesn’t make any sense!’

“Is there something you would like for us to do, my lord?” Verity said, snapping Harry out of his thoughts.

“No. I’m going to have a talk with Ron in a moment. Oh, Tracey, I need to meet with you alone later today in the Common Room.”

Tracey, perplexed by the sudden shift, nodded in affirmation nonetheless.

“Yes, my lord.”

Harry got up and walked towards the Gryffindor table when a voice called out to him.

“Harry, my boy! Would you follow me to my office?”

It was Dumbledore.

“Yes, Professor.”

*------------------------

In Dumbledore’s office, Harry sat across from Dumbledore and waited for him to speak.

“Harry, you know that I know about the conversation you had with Traian last night.”

“I didn’t know that, actually,” Harry replied with a chuckle, “nor do I know how you know.”

“The Portraits in the Common Room is how I know, Harry. They overhead the entire conversation and passed it onto me.”

“That makes sense,” Harry replied, still chuckling.

“Harry, what are you planning to do about this?”

Harry let out a deep sigh before speaking.

“Honestly, Professor, I was just thinking about that at the breakfast table. I know what has to happen, but I don’t know the best way to go about it.”

“Just so we are clear, Harry, I am referring to the Romanian Vampires and not to Mrs. Zabini.”

Harry thought about it some more before he replied.

“I wasn’t thinking about the Vampires. Unfortunately, as much as I would prefer to just wipe them all out, that’s not an option. I was focused mostly on Mrs. Zabini.”

Dumbledore regarded him for a moment.

“What the Queen told you may indeed all be true, but you know that isn’t evidence that will hold in the Wizengamot.”

“I know. I could extract the truth from Mrs. Zabini myself using Legilimency if I could get her here somehow.”

Dumbledore seemed to ponder it for a moment, then decided.

“I believe I can help with that, my boy. I will arrange for Mrs. Zabini to visit Hogwarts for a discussion. Once the time has been arranged, we will proceed from there.”

“Great!” Harry then shifted gears to what he was most curious about. “Professor, why am I hearing that Sirius Black broke into the Gryffindor Common Room and tried to murder Ron with a knife?”

“That’s because that is exactly what happened,” Dumbledore replied. “We cleared out the entire Common Room last night in our efforts to find him. Regretfully, our efforts came up short.”

Harry gave a hard sigh and ran his hands through his hair.

“I can’t make sense of this! Sirius wasn’t insane when I met him in Azkaban! Why would he target Ron like that!?”

“It could be that Sirius was not targeting Ronald, but rather someone else,” Dumbledore offered.

“Who in the Gryffindor Common Room could Sirius Black possibly want to kill!? And furthermore, how did Sirius have a list of passwords for the week!?”

“To answer your second question, Neville Longbottom is why. Apparently, he’d been keeping the passwords written down so he could remember them, but by unfortunate happenstance-”

“He misplaced the list, and Sirius found it,” Harry said, finishing Dumbledore’s explanation.

“Exactly. Professor McGonagall has given him a week in detention and written his grandmother about it.”

Harry remembered Neville’s grandmother from the demonstration that Harry gave on the Quidditch Pitch last year, and if the impression she’d left on Harry was anything to go by—

“Bloody hell, she’ll skin him alive when he gets back home!”

“Possibly,” Dumbledore laughed. “Augusta is a severe woman, strict in both etiquette and discipline, and she has no tolerance whatsoever for foolishness—especially from her own grandson.”

“Yeah, I picked up on that pretty quick last year when I met her. Oddly enough, I liked her anyway. I wonder if she would be willing to help me with some things in the future.”

“She may very well be, my boy! She holds you in very high regard.”

“I’ll have to think on that one more, but coming back to Sirius, if he wasn’t after Ron, who could he have been after?”

“That, Harry, is a question we can ask Sirius when we find him.”

*--------------------

After classes were over with, Harry went straight to the Common Room and collapsed in the chair by the fireplace. Some of the classes that day had been pure bedlam!

In Potions Making, the task was to brew a Shrinking Solution. The ingredients were easy to handle and the process was fairly mundane, but one idiot Gryffindor somehow mixed up his ingredients and his cauldron exploded! Green sludge went everywhere, hitting multiple students and causing their limbs to swell into cartoonishly large proportions! One student was stumbling around trying to maintain his balance because his head had swollen too big for his shoulders! The poor student ran head first into a nearby wall, fell down, and flailed his arms and legs helplessly as he tried to get back up.

Harry couldn’t stop laughing at him!

Professor Snape moved with methodical disdain as he administered the antidote. He then turned his attention to the one whose cauldron exploded.

“McLaggen, I believe I distinctly instructed you to brew the Shrinking Solution that I have written on the blackboard. Did you confuse ‘Shrinking’ for ‘Swelling’, or can you not read?”

“I was brewing the Shrinking Solution, sir! I was following the instructions you had on the blackboard!” McLaggen pointed to a nearby blackboard located towards the side of the class, causing Harry to shake his head.

‘How dense do you have to be!?’ Harry thought to himself.

“McLaggen, you watched me put the instructions on the blackboard in front of the class. How could you possibly have been looking at the wrong blackboard?”

“I didn’t see you put the instructions on the blackboard, sir. I only heard you say the instructions were on the blackboard,” McLaggen replied with a laugh.

Even Harry shivered when he saw the look Professor Snape was giving McLaggen!

“So you were not paying attention. That will be ten points from Gryffindor, as well as a month in detention.”

In Herbology, yet another idiot Gryffindor moved too quickly and knocked over a nearby planter that had fully mature Chinese Chomping Cabbages! Naturally, the soil spilled out of the planter, and the Cabbages went on an absolute rampage! One of the Gryffindors was running around screaming in pain because a Cabbage had latched onto his shoulder! Another Gryffindor was fighting to dislodge a Cabbage that had latched onto his left buttock! And one of the Slytherins had one of her fingers bitten completely off! It was Pansy Parkinson, so Harry had no sympathy whatsoever for her.

Nevertheless, Harry used his wandless magic to destroy the Cabbages so Professor Sprout could get everyone to the Infirmary.

Defence Against the Dark Arts had gone by smoothly. Harry noticed that Professor Lupin tended to focus heavily on Dark Creatures.

‘He’s brilliant in that regard, but I wonder what he knows about defending yourself from Dark Wizards?’ Harry thought to himself.

Hagrid had been brilliant as a teacher of Care of Magical Creatures! The only real flaw Hagrid had is that he tended to get a little carried away with how cute or misunderstood some creatures are. At the end of class, Hagrid pulled Harry to the side.

“So, Harry, how’ve you been enjoying my class so far?”

“So far, it’s great! You’re a good teacher, and it’s nice to get out of the Castle for a while!”

“I thought the same thing when I was your age!” Hagrid replied with a booming laugher. “Of course, Dumbledore’s been keepin’ a strict eye on me to make sure I don’t introduce somethin’ too dangerous for you! But I finally talked him into letting me open things up a little bit!” Hagrid leaned in and said in a conspiratorial whisper, “Wait ‘til you see what I got in store for ya next time!”
‘For some reason, I don’t like the sound of that!’ Harry thought to himself. Care for Magical Creatures had been the last class of the day, so Harry took some time to converse with Hagrid.

“Oh, Hagrid! While I’m thinking about it, is that cobra still out here?”

“Yeah, he’s still out here! He keeps tryin’ to eat that opossum that Dumbledore brought out here! I tell ya, I’ve never seen a creature like that! I might hafta visit America one day! Ain’t no tellin’ what other kinds of creatures they got out there if they got somethin’ that’s immune to cobra venom!”

Harry decided right then and there to see if he could get Hagrid some picture books detailing the wildlife of America. He then pivoted to another question that he has been curious about.

“How has Darius been doing? I know he worked hard to convinced Dumbledore to let him take the class even though he’s only in Second Year.”

“He’s been doing fine! He’s got a sharp mind when it comes to creatures, but between the two of us, he ain’t exactly workin’ with a full sack of gobstones, if you catch my meanin’.”

“I noticed that, all right!” Harry laughed. “He’s got no common sense whatsoever! I think he may be slightly mental! Then again, I think you’d have to be mental to survive my inner circle!”

“If what I’m hearin’ about your inner circle is true, then you probably would hafta be!” Hagrid shook his head, then pivoted.

“Well, Harry, I gotta get to my Ground Keepin’ duties! It was nice talkin’ to you!”

“You too, Hagrid!”

Once Draco and the others arrived at the Common Room, they found Harry sitting by the fireplace, looking like he was in some sort of meditative nap.

Nevertheless, Harry heard them when they entered. He opened his eyes and called them all over. Once they knelt before him, Harry spoke.

“I hope none of you got hurt today in Herbology! Those Cabbages were brutal!”

“Yeah, that was mental! Pansy had to have her finger magically reattached!” Verity said.

“Too bad. One less finger might have done her some good!” Harry replied with disdain, causing the Slytherin girls to giggle at the innuendo. Draco and Darius just looked at each other in an effort to figure it out.

“Now then, I need to speak with Tracey alone. Get some rest, all of you.”

“Yes, my lord,” Verity replied, speaking for the group. Draco seemed disappointed as he left. Harry made a note to speak with him tomorrow. Harry cast the most powerful Muffliato Charm he could around him, then proceeded to speak.

“Tracey, do you remember the assignment I gave you last about Traian?”

“Yes, my lord.”

“I need you to redirect all of your intelligence gathering capabilities towards Mrs. Zabini, and I mean all of them! I not only need to know what she’s doing at present, I need to know what she was doing before the start of this school year! In particular, if she made any trips to Romania during the summer.”

“My lord, I can already confirm to you that Mrs. Zabini did in fact make trips to Romania.”

Harry’s blood began to boil. More and more, it was looking like the Queen was telling the truth.

“Do you know what she was doing there?”

“She visited Transylvania twice by my count. Both times were meetings with the leaders of the Romanian Vampires, although what those meetings pertained to, I regret to say I don’t know.”

Harry thought about it some more, picturing how the timeline would come together, but then snapped his attention back to Tracey.

“All right then. Begin your new assignment tomorrow. For now, get some rest.”

“I understand, my lord!” Tracey replied with a bow.

Tracey gave another formal bow and left for the dorms. Harry dispelled the Muffliato Charm and then gave a heavy sigh.

“Come on out. We need to talk.”

Harry saw the shadows in a nearby corner move, and Traian stepped out of them.

“Well well. You say you need to talk after telling me that you will find a way to kill me. Your arrogance will cost you your life one day.”

“Have a seat.”

Traian, unsure of what to expect, nonetheless sat down across from Harry.

“Traian, I’m about to do my own investigation into Mrs. Zabini to see if you were telling the truth.”

Traian laughed in response, but Harry continued.

“I want to know if you saw Mrs. Zabini in Romania at any point in time.”

“I did. She saw me twice—once before I assumed my disguise, and once afterwards.”

“So if you are telling the truth, then she has no deniability. She knew what you are, what you were going to do, and how you were going to do it.”

“We established that already, Harry. Is your memory that poor, or are you daft?”

“I’ve got a list of things I have to cross out. You understand.” The smile on Harry’s face caused Traian to be anxious.

“Right now, the end itself has already been decided, but I’m trying to figure out the best way to get there.”

“If you are thinking about confronting the Leader, you had best forget it. You stand no chance whatsoever against him.”

“You’ve already misjudged my abilities once, and what you saw isn’t even a fraction of what I’m capable of.”

“I know that if I can pin you to a wall so easily, you stand no chance.”

Traian stood up and walked away, leaving Harry along with his thoughts.

*-----------------------

That weekend, Harry took the time to give Ginny another lesson in Blood Magic down in the Chamber of Secrets since he had not been able to do so in so long. First he made sure she remembered what he’d taught her thus far, and then answered a myriad of questions that Ginny had come up with over the summer.

“My lord, are you ever going to teach me any particular Blood Curses?” Ginny had asked.

“There’s no need. The beauty of Blood Magic is that as long as you’re grounded in the fundamentals, you can create your own curses! It will take time and study, and of course, what you will need will depend on what you want the curse to do. But Blood Curses, on the whole, are a poor use of Blood Magic because you will always need a piece of the person you’re trying to curse. It can be a strand of their hair, a drop of their blood, or something else, but if you’re close enough to them to acquire anything like that, you might as well just curse them with standard Dark Magic and be done with it.

“You can use your own blood for especially powerful spells that curse from a distance, but those spells exact a harsh tax on the body, and you could wind up dying from blood loss!”

Ginny paled when Harry said that.

“The best use for Blood Magic is contracts. Oh, there is one thing I have to warn you about.”

Ginny swallowed hard as Harry continued.

“If you ever come across a tome on Blood Magic that says you can bind a demon to be your servant using Blood Magic, toss that tome into the nearest fireplace! That’s complete bollocks! It’s not possible to contractually bind a demon to anything, and summoning a demon is suicide! The demon will kill you on the spot and go about its business!”

“I understand, my lord,” Ginny replied with a hard nod.

Once that had been taken care off, Harry made the decision to install a Pensieve in the Chamber of Secrets so that he wouldn’t have to use Dumbledore’s when he needed to show his Subordinates something.

‘I’m sure Lucius would know how to go about acquiring one. I’m sure it’ll be expensive, but that’s fine. I absolutely need a Pensieve!’

Harry also realized something as he looked around the Chamber.

‘Bloody hell, this place is big enough to use for a Training Room! Why didn’t I ever think of this before!? I can have the Self-Defence Club meetings here instead of having to have Dumbledore arrange for the Great Hall to be cleared out!’

Then on Sunday afternoon at lunch time, Harry was called into Dumbledore’s office abruptly. He arrived at the office and waited for Dumbledore to explain what was going on.

“Harry, my boy! Mrs. Zabini will be here shortly!”

“That’s great!”

“Yes. Now, I believe you can perform Legilimency on someone without them knowing?”

“I can.”

“Perfect! My plan is for you to hide here to the side of the desk. While Mrs. Zabini and I are having our discussion, you can perform your task.”

“Brilliant! All right! Here I go!”

Harry turned invisible and stood off to the side. A short while later, Professor McGonagall brought Mrs. Zabini and her son Blaise into the office.

“Thank you, Minerva.”

Professor McGonagall gave a nod in response, then left.

“Now then, I asked for you to be here, Mrs. Zabini, because I believe we can further improve Mr. Zabini’s performance.”

“What!? Is Blaise performing poorly!?”

“Heavens no! He’s performing admirably! His marks in Charms and Potions Making are especially impressive! However, despite being only third year-”

Harry tuned out the conversation and focused his mind to the task at hand. He cast Legilimency on Mrs. Zabini non-verbally, and perused her mind for what he was looking for. Fortunately, it didn’t take him long.

“I thank you once again for meeting with me concerning our… mutual problem,” Mrs. Zabini said to someone who was sitting on a throne. The one she was speaking to looked to be middle-aged. He had piercing red eyes and a long, black beard that formed into a goatee.

It wasn’t much of a leap to believe that this was the so-called Leader.

“Of course,” the Leader replied. “Our ‘mutual problem’ as you so adequately put it is all the more reason we should unite.”

“Unfortunately, we are powerless to deal with him!” Mrs. Zabini hissed. “Though it pains me to admit it, his abilities make him far beyond any of us! I fear our traditions are doomed to die at the hands of an impudent boy who plays at being a Dark Lord! He has already solidified his grip on the aristocracy, and now his influence stretches well beyond to even the Minister himself!”

“Yes, we are aware of your situation,” the Leader calmly replied. “But although he is beyond your power, he is not beyond ours.” The Leader then stood up and descended from his throne. Harry figured he had to be over two meters tall, and it was obvious to Harry that the Leader had an extremely muscular build underneath his formal vampiric attire.

“You visit is most opportune, for I believe I have the solution to our problem. If you will be so kind as to follow me.”

Harry watched as Mrs. Zabini walked behind the Leader down a lengthy stretch of corridors, listening to the conversation as they walked.

“I have lived for over five thousand years, Mrs. Zabini,” the Leader said. “I have seen nearly everything there is to see in this world. As you correctly noted, Lord Potter’s abilities place him well beyond the average Wizard. But, there are things that have been sleeping here that will be his undoing.”

“Really? What kind of things?” Mrs. Zabini asked.

“You are about to see one such thing shortly.”

They walked in silence for the remainder of the way, until they arrived at what looked like a room with a massive gladiator pit in the center of it, with seating for an audience situated around the balcony above it.

In the middle of the pit, Harry saw the Queen thrashing and screaming as she tried to free herself from the chains that she was bound with. The Queen looked up when the Leader entered, and her struggling stopped instantly. Harry watched as the Queen’s expression turn into pure fear the second she laid eyes on the Leader.

‘This Leader has her absolutely rattled!’ Harry thought to himself.

Harry also noticed that standing nearby were two other vampires, and a child was with them. Harry recognized the child immediately.

It was Traian.

“Merlin’s Beard, what is that thing!?” Mrs. Zabini asked, horrified by the appearance of the Queen.

“This, Mrs. Zabini, is a demon known as a ‘Vitifex.’ You will not have heard of it because it is entirely native to the Demon Realm.”

“How did it get here!?”

“Your Salazar Slytherin, in a lapse of judgement, summoned her from the Demon Realm in an attempt to use her to purify your world of all those who were not pure of blood. He learned immediately that he was unable to control this demon, and sealed it away since he could not return it to the Demon Realm.

“When it became apparent that the usual methods we deploy were going to be insufficient in dealing with Lord Potter, I broke the seal myself,” the Leader said, anticipating the question Mrs. Zabini was about to ask. “What you see here is a Vitifex Queen. She possess the power of flight with the wings you see, she is entirely impervious to your magic, and her healing abilities are equal to, if they do not outright eclipse, Lord Potter’s.

“Her primary method of killing her prey are her long claws that she can extend at will, and her physical strength and speed are truly marvelous! She is stronger than a troll, and faster than… what do you call those small, golden spheres that fly around? You Wizards use them for sport.”

“You mean the Golden Snitch? We use them in Quidditch.”

“Oh yes. That.”

Harry could see that the Leader absolutely despised Wizarding culture. Of course, he knew that already, but seeing it up close merely set his convictions into stone more so than they had been before. The Leader then resumed speaking.

“The Vitifex Queen disguises itself as a human in order to propagate its offspring. It does so by implanting its eggs into unwilling and unwitting hosts. What makes the Vitifex Queen truly dangerous is that it does not rely on brute force to accomplish this task, although it can certainly do that as well. It uses cunning and guile to deceive the intended target into ingesting its eggs.”

“Merlin’s Beard!”

“The eggs are small. So small that they are very easily missed. It merely places an egg into food or drink, and then offers it to its intended target. Once the egg is ingested, it travels the body until it arrives at the place it can drain the most resources from its host, and it hatches.”

Mrs. Zabini was visibly horrified at the description the Leader was giving.

“Once the egg hatches, its gestation period begins. The larva subverts the host’s magic and uses it to increase the strength of the urges the host feels. Those urges can be anything; love, fear, lust, anger. The urges themselves are what the larva feeds upon, and once it reaches maturity, it violently frees itself from its host, killing it instantly.”

“I will grant you that this thing is positively ghastly,” Mrs. Zabini said. “But how can we ensure that not only will it succeed in killing Lord Potter, but that it will not target any of our children?”

“That is of no serious concern,” the Leader replied with a dismissive wave. “This creature will understand the assignment. It is not a mindless monster. It will know who it may target and who it may not. Furthermore, even in the unlikelihood that the Queen should fail in eliminating Lord Potter, it will undoubtedly succeed in infecting Lord Potter’s inner court with its offspring, which will eliminate them. Once an egg has been ingested, the host’s fate is sealed. There is no cure, and no hope.”

‘Thankfully the Leader was wrong about that!’ Harry thought to himself.

“All right, but how will we get this hideous creature within Hogwarts?”

“That is also easily arranged.” The Leader then motioned to the two Vampires who were standing nearby.

“These two are theatre performers, and this is their son, Traian.” The three gave a polite bow, but remained silent.

“We will open a theatre in Diagon Alley in order to plant these three within your boarders. Their cover will of course be that they are theatre performers. The child will be transferred to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry as a foreign exchange student. For your part, you will see to it that not only do the permits for the construction of the theatre are quickly approved, you will also see to it that the paperwork for the child’s transfer proceed smoothly.”

“I can do both of those things easily, but in your plan, I fail to see where this monstrosity fits into things.”

“That ‘monstrosity’, Mrs. Zabini, is going to be the child.”

At that very moment, the parents lifted Traian by his arms. Traian was clearly confused and scared as his parents unceremoniously threw him into the pit with the Queen. The Leader then pointed his index finger at the Queen, and all of the chains that had been binding it unshackled themselves.

“Mother! Father! Help me! Please! Help me!”

Harry looked at the parents and saw nothing but cold disdain for their son on their faces.

The Queen pounced on Traian, biting and tearing him limb from limb as he continued to plead and beg for help. Mrs. Zabini had closed her eyes so she wouldn’t see what was happening. Her willingness to consort with these animals while being too cowardly to look at the consequences of her actions caused Harry’s hatred of her to boil even hotter than it otherwise did!

Once the Queen had finished her gruesome task, she then shape-shifted into the very child she had just killed, matching even the clothes he was wearing.

“I trust you believe me when I say that this will be the end of Lord Potter.”

“Y-Yes, I believe you.”

Harry, having seen everything he needed to see, backed out of her mind. A short while later, the conversation concluded and Mrs. Zabini left the office alongside her son, Blaise. Dumbledore waited for a few moments before addressing Harry.

“Well, Harry? Did you get what you needed?”

Harry’s malice filled the entire office as he reined in his invisibility.

“I got it, all right! I saw everything!”

Harry’s voice suddenly became childlike, the sign that whatever evil sleeps within Harry had just awakened.

“I am going to have so much fun with Mrs. Zabini! And when I am finished extracting every drop of exquisite agony from her flesh, I am going to force her son to watch as I piss on her grave!”

Dumbledore wanted to say something. Anything. But he knew that it wouldn’t do any good. Whatever he saw just now in Mrs. Zabini’s mind was her death warrant, and no one was going to stop Harry from carrying out his bloodthirsty intent.

*--------------------

That night, Harry arrived at the Common Room and sat in his usual chair. Traian happened to be waiting nearby for some reason.

“Tell me. What happened today?” Traian asked.

“What are you talking about?”

“I was following you when you went into Dumbledore’s office, and shortly after you went in, I watched the Matriarch of the Zabini family enter the office.”

Harry looked at Traian for a moment, then withdrew his wand and cast a powerful Muffliato Charm around them.

“Well, now this is interesting. You have never done that before when we have conversed.”

“I pulled the truth from Mrs. Zabini’s mind,” Harry said, ignoring the Queen’s taunts. “I saw everything you told me.”

“Well, good! I certainly would not know what to do with myself if you were to think of me as a liar! Why, I believe I just could not bear it!”

The Queen’s voice was dripping with sugary sarcasm, clearly in an effort to get under Harry’s skin.

She succeeded.

“You can be as sarcastic as you wish, but I am going to kill everyone involved in this! Mrs. Zabini! Traian’s parents! That Leader if I get the opportunity! And of course, I’m going to kill you!”

“I might have taken you seriously if you had not said you intend to kill the Leader!” Traian replied with a laugh. “You have a much greater chance of killing me, and that chance is zero.”

“We will soon see about that!”

“Perhaps so. In the mean time, perhaps you can tend to poor little Draco? He has been so lonely lately.”

Harry’s malice filled the entire area, causing Traian’s arrogant demeanor to falter.

“If you ever mention Draco again, you will spend the remainder of your life begging for me to give you the death you think I can’t give you!”

“You are cute, Harry. Has anyone ever told you?”

The question threw Harry off. Traian smirked and stood up.

“You and I will have our moment, Harry, and when we do, no one else will matter.” Traian then walked away, leaving Harry stunned.

‘D-Did she just say what I think she said!?’

Harry sat and tried to wrap his mind around that when Draco entered the Common Room.

“Ah! My lord!” Draco said as he approached and knelt. “I’ve been looking all over for-”

Draco was cut off by Harry ensnaring him with wandless magic. Before Draco could say anything, Harry slammed into him with a bruising kiss while using his wand to cast Tholus Umbrae around them and to make the dome Imperturbable.

“So much has been going on, Draco,” Harry said with a breathless gasp as he began tearing away at Draco’s clothes.

“So tonight, I’m going to drown myself in you!”
