These days, Chase's usually energetic boyfriend wore a sombre expression that could rivalled his own. Accompanied that was his undivided attention on his phone. The human would smile occasionally at it before he schooled himself with a nervous nonchalance whenever the Roidmude questioned him.
On top of that, Gou had been leaving very early in the morning and coming back very late in the night. There's no goodbye kisses, nor 'I'm home' kisses between them. Additionally, there were slight bruises around his lower body area when he undressed the human two nights ago for a pajamas change.
Which was why he was here meeting the Tomari couple for lunch.
“Gou has been acting funny these past few days. He kept on refusing my initiation of romance and sex.”
Shinnosuke choked on his drink at that claim, while Kiriko cringed in disgust as she gave her handkerchief to her husband.
“Chase! We don’t need to hear that!”
“My apologies, Kiriko.” The non-human bowed slightly before frowning in worry, “It is just seems like Gou is leaving hints that he is going to break up with me.”
“No way!” Shinnosuke widened his eyes in shock, “Just few days ago, he-”
His wife shoved her elbow into his stomach, making him winced in surprised pain. Before he could even retaliate, one warning glare was all it took to back down, though not without pouting.
“So the both of you are aware of what’s happening with Gou?” Chase leaned forward nervously, “Is my concern about Gou well-founded?”
“No, no. You are just overthinking about it.” The woman smiled reassuringly, patting the Roidmude’s head fondly, “My brother is just preparing a surprise of the lifetime for you.”

"Oi, Chase! Dress handsome tonight! We are going on a date!"
“Oh, are we going to where you prepared the surprise of the lifetime, Gou?”
The panic-surprise splutter answered his inquiry.
"Wha- No- Who- Nu- Ho- Urgh!" Gou barely collected himself as he grabbed his robot boyfriend by the elbows, "How much do you know?!"
"I know nothing. Kiriko told me for reassurance." Chase gently pried the confused human boyfriend off, "We did not kiss or have sex for two weeks, Gou. I had thought you had grow tired of me."
"NO! DEFINITELY NOT!" The older one wrapped his arms around his lover's neck to kiss him on the lips. He pulled back before they could go even further, then proceed to guiltily rubbing his own neck, "Sorry for neglecting you, Chase. I didn't notice at all."
"Apologies accepted. Can we continue?"
"... After you see the surprise tonight."

Surprisingly, the candlelight dinner in a fancy romance-based restaurant where Gou managed to booked the entire restaurant to decorated the surroundings with pictures of their relationship history was not the surprise of his lifetime.
"There's more?" Chase had his eyes covered with his hands while being led outside the building by his charming partner.
Even if he couldn't see, he could tell his boyfriend has a satisfied smirk on his face, "Yup! The photos are just the appetizers!" He then released his hold onto the Roidmude, seemingly jogging away, "Here's the main course!"
Deafeningly loud brass instruments suddenly blared in front of Chase, making him opened his eyes instantly in shock. Before he could locate his boyfriend among the marching band, fireworks were launched to the sky, lighting them in bright white and red lights.
As the fireworks started bursting into heart shapes and Signal Bike shapes, the marching band dispersed to the side, revealing Gou, who was holding a bouquet of heliotrope. Before the robot could start questioning, the dramatic man smirked slyly, "Watch."
He threw the bouquet upwards and towards Chase. At the same time, he somersault towards him and made some incredible flips to the beat of the bass drum. When the dazzling man reached the stunned robot, he kneeled in one knee and caught the bouquet, which somehow didn't get messy after the rough treatment.
"Chase. I am not good with words. So, I am taking an example from Shin-nii-san." He trembled slightly as he pulled out a velvet ring box out of his inner pocket. Opening it revealed a purple diamond embedded on a silver plain ring. "Will you marry me?"
Overwhelmed, Chase forgo words all together and kissed his fiancé deeply on the lips, causing the marching band around them to cheered loudly with their instruments. Fireworks started bursting into the images of Signal Mach and Signal Chaser with hearts surrounding them. They also started bursting into the word 'CONGRATULATIONS' but the smitten couple paid it no mind as they separated themselves unwillingly.
"Is this where we move on to 'dessert', Gou?"
Gou just pecked his socially inept robot in embarrassment at the sound of barely covered giggles from the female staffs.
