Summary
In one universe, Zygerrian Jedi master Noss Thezras was one of the few individuals who could've prevented the fall of the Jedi and the Republic, but thus any chances of saving the galaxy from the Empire were long gone by the time he was personally hunted down and killed by Darth Sidious in the underworld of Hosnian Prime in 23 BBY.
But in another, the dark lord of the Sith failed to be as thorough.
And though the Clone Wars continues on similarly, in 20 BBY, immediately following the Republic's success in rescuing the kidnapped people of Kiros from the Zygerrian slavers, things quickly fall off track for the Sith.
