Another day gone at Night Raven College and a certain burgundy haired girl was walking towards the direction where the Hall of Mirrors is for she was about to go back to her dorm, Scarabia alongside her was her childhood friend who's in Pomefiore who was also pretty much like a sister to her already since she has been with her ever since they were young both of them giggling at their conversation as they walked down the hallways, their voices echoing at the empty halls once they started talking once again.
"Mariko, you're celebrating your anniversary with Trey today right? So, can I ask why you're going back to your dorm instead of going to Heartslabyul directly?" the brunette asked as she tilted her head.
Said girl Mariko pushed up her glasses and chuckled. "I was supposed to I just..." a small tint of pink slowly becomes present on her face as she twiddled her fingers, a soft smile forming on her thin lips afterwards. "...wanted to get my gift for him..." her best friend's smile became a smirk instantly as she leaned closer to Mariko's face, a teasing look showed on her face.
"Oh? What is your gift to him? A flower? A new hat or a cake? Hmmm?" Mariko's face became bright red and she started stuttering her words.
"Y-Yuriko... Pleassseee." Mariko whined cutely making her laugh and hugged her tomato red best friend causing Mariko to sigh and pout before hugging Yuriko back.
"Okay, okay~ I'll stop." Yuriko replied as she stroked Mariko's hair before pulling away from the hug. "Don't forget to give me some of Jamil's cooking later again bestie~ You know the drill."
Mariko chuckles as she crosses her arms while doing a smug expression. "Don't worry, I won't forget !! Just pray that Vil won't catch you awake I mean... you know him after all." Yuriko placed a hand on her hip, returning the same expression.
"I'm very sneaky, don't worry~ I think you should stop doing that smug expression or you'll become the embodiment of your boyfriend." Yuriko teased and snorted softly making Mariko's face turn into a tomato again before doing a fake cough.
Rubbing her gloved hands, Mariko then said. "I think it's best that we should head back to our dorms now before it gets dark." the taller female nods at Mariko but before they were even able to say their goodbyes and return to their own dorms, the sound of someone's footsteps started echoing through the quiet area as both of the girls glanced at the direction where they heard the footsteps coming from.
Only to be welcomed by a certain tweel, his gloved hand placed nonchalantly on his chest as he bowed like a butler. Both Yuriko and Mariko then looked at each other before returning their gaze back to the male Octavinelle student.
"Pardon me ladies, have I interrupted something between you two that I shouldn't have done?" He asked politely.
"Oh, it's that 'wannabe' Jade Leech." Yuriko couldn't help but snort at Mariko's humor because she knew what she meant about the 'wannabe' word thanks to her also getting influenced of anime alongside Mariko even before they both met Idia and Jade remained unfazed.
"Don't worry you didn't interrupt anything. Is there something you need from us?" Mariko asked while putting a hand on her hip while she looked up to the taller male.Jade then closes his eyes and crossed his arm afterwards.
"Actually..." he then opened his eyes again as he kept eye contact on Mariko. "We do need you at Mostro Lounge, Mariko. Are you able to come by?" Mariko let out a small confused noise and she thought she felt one of her hair strands standing up for she works part-time at the lounge.
Even though she loved her work at Mostro Lounge, she still felt so bad not being able to get her gift for Trey since it's pretty special for her and she bought it for Trey only especially that it's their anniversary today but, since this is her work... she needs to be professional and never reject the invitation.
She let out a deep sigh, closing her eyes and crossing her arms while Yuriko looked at her and Jade seemed to be waiting for her to speak before Mariko placed a hand on her hip again, opening her eyes afterwards.
"Let me guess, Is Mostro Lounge packed with students again and you need more people to serve for the students?" Jade's eyes briefly widened but he immediately placed a hand behind him and relaxed, smiling down to his upperclassman in Scarabia.
"Yes, quite so... since you work with us as a part-timer and it seems like you're the only one available right now since Florian seems busy with his own things." Jade says and Mariko nods.
"Alright, I'll go with you." Jade nods as he started walking towards the mirror that leads to Octavinelle dorm with Mariko following him from behind.
"Bye Yuriko!!~" Mariko said, waving at her best friend as Yuriko returned the gesture to her.
"Yeah! Have fun!! See you later Mariko!!~" Yuriko replied before she stepped inside the mirror which leads to Pomefiore Dorm and once she got in, both Jade and Mariko stepped inside the mirror that leads to Octavinelle making them arrive immediately outside the dorm as both of them started walking, having a conversation.
Jade was her best friend in Octavinelle. She may be also friends with both Azul and Floyd but she's way more closer with Jade as they walked down the hallways, Mariko cleared her throat.
"I know the lounge is always full of students every day and I have a schedule for my shift but how did it became so packed today that you actually need me to do my shift?." Mariko had her arms crossed while she walked with Jade who was beside her, hands behind his back.
"Well, in order for our business to improve more... Azul did a new promotion that made alot of students visit Mostro Lounge and it increased the number of customers that we normally had and he's quite satisfied about it." Jade explained as Mariko shrugged while letting out a soft chuckle.
"Typical of him." She said while the tweel let out a soft chuckle, noticing the very familiar area from the distance and they can faintly hear the music playing.
"Oh, we're almost there." Jade said, a hum coming out of Mariko which sounded like an agreement to what Jade said. As they both arrived at the front door, Jade and Mariko opened the doors in sync and they were welcomed by the beautiful sound of calming jazz music.
However, one thing that got Mariko's attention was the area around her. She couldn't even say a word, she was speechless and her mouth was agape.
"This place is like so busy as a grand central station!!" Was the only one Mariko was able to articulate because who wouldn't be speechless when Mostro Lounge is completely crowded like a pack of sardines and everyone else is so busy?
"No wonder Azul called me when I was at the cafeteria buying some snacks and he told me to find you." Jade comments. "I do know that our customers increased after the new promotion but I didn't expected it to become this huge."
Mariko bit her lip and shook her head. "Trey, I'm sorry that I won't be able to meet up with you today, it's quite a bad timing that I was called out for a shift here at the lounge." She thought.
"Mariko, it's best that we should keep going and change our clothes now into Octavinelle's dorm uniform. We'll be here the whole night." Jade says.
Great, she became quite a busy woman today but she fully trusts her boyfriend that he'll understand it but she still felt very guilty about it.
Mariko lets out a sigh again before both her and Jade went inside separate rooms to change their clothes into Octavinelle's dorm uniform.
"This will be a long day for me--" Mariko said to herself before she stripped off her school uniform in order to change into the dorm uniform.

The unbirthday party fortunately ended quite early, it's always been a tradition at Heartslabyul dorm to commence one. Everyone else has been going back to their rooms however, a certain green haired male never went back yet for he seems to be waiting for someone outside the dorm, still wearing his dorm uniform.
"Why is she taking a while?" he thought as he felt a hand on his shoulder causing him to turn his head, being welcomed by an orange haired male.
"Trey, what are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to go back to your room?" Trey sighed and pushed up his glasses.
"I'm waiting for Mariko, Cater. She said she's going to meet up with me here but she didn't arrive yet for some reason."
"Hmmm~ Waiting for your girlfriend eh?" he chuckled which made Trey feel a bit embarassed and awkwardly laugh.
Before, Cater didn't knew that Mariko and Trey were dating since they are quite a private couple however, he already noticed it ever since the incident during the preparation for the Spelldrive Tournament and asked the couple to admit it to him and so they did. Cater also kept his promise of not telling it to anyone else but himself, Rook and Yuriko, the only ones who knew about their romantic relationship.
Trey immediately kept his composure and relaxed himself before replying to his friend. "It's a special day for me and Mariko today so we agreed to meet up and at least have a date."
Cater crossed his arms. "Well, when it comes to relationships that's very important after all and I know what you meant about special day." Trey nods and looked at the distance.
"However, Mariko isn't here yet and it's already pass the schedule of our meet-up." He placed a gloved finger under his chin, thinking until he heard the sound of Cater's tapping on his phone and when he looked over, he saw Cater opening his Magicam account.
"I think she had that situation of having a bad timing." Cater said while stopping at a Magicam post, leaving Trey completely confused.
"What do you mean?" Cater showed Trey what was on his homescreen, it was a picture of Mostro Lounge being crowded with students which was posted by Mariko herself on her Magicam account as Trey started reading through her description.
"Jade showed up to both me and Yuriko earlier when we were about to go to our dorms and told me that I was needed at Mostro Lounge. And now I know why... THIS PLACE IS SO CROWDED LIKE CANNED SARDINES THAT GRIM MIGHT LOVE, thanks to Azul's new promotion." Trey briefly let out a soft snort once he read the uppercase idiom Mariko typed on her post but he still continued to read it through the end. "I had no choice but to oblige since this is still my work. Kalim and Jamil were also here and they joined me when I was taking a selfie, I think I'll be here the whole day due to these flock of students at the lounge. #mostrolounge #workworkwork #newpromotion #thisbetterendsoon #parttime #octavinelle #canthispleaseendalready."
Trey then checked the images and saw a selfie of Mariko wearing the Octavinelle dorm uniform with Kalim beside her and Jamil photobombing at the selfie looking like he's questioning his life choices.
"Maybe this is why she didn't came by, I heard about Azul's new promotion and it actually succeded." Cater says keeping his phone inside his pocket again as he watched Trey crossing his arms.
"I do understand that Mariko needs to work... however, for some reason I want to see her so badly and be with her right now." Trey said while Cater grinned.
"Well, how about you surprise her? Go to Mostro Lounge and meet-up with her there. I know you loved visiting her whenever she's on a shift so why not do it as well like your normal routine as a couple?" Cater looked over to Trey's amber eyes. "I can see in your eyes that you're very desperate to be in each other's arms. Ehhh, I don't blame you~ You were so busy at the unbirthday party and had small time with Mariko but you two can't even touch each other because you were in public."
Trey couldn't help but agree, he was busy being a vice housewarden and preparing for the unbirthday party while Mariko was also busy at the Scarabia dorm earlier, helping Jamil cook and entertaining the students with her musical skills and he knew he wanted to take a breather after so much work.
The only way to make him feel at ease was to be with Mariko for he always comes to her when he's a bit tired doing all the tasks as vice housewarden and doing most of the cooking and baking for the unbirthday party.
"I guess you got a point there, Cater..." Trey says smiling. "Thanks, by the way."
Cater laughed. "No need to thank me, just go see her already, I know you want to! The four of us will also go there later, you should get going first." Trey nods before leaving Heartslabyul Dorm while Cater went back to his own room.
Trey didn't even bother changing back into his school uniform and kept wearing his dorm uniform. He wanted to see Mariko so badly and was a little touch starved due to them having such a short time being together than their usual one for the day and he also wanted to celebrate their anniversary together. I guess paying Mariko a visit at the Mostro Lounge was the only option in order for him to see her physically at least. Once Trey arrived at the Hall of Mirrors, he looked around for the meantime before stepping inside the mirror that leads to Octavinelle dorm.

Work, work, work. That was Mariko's focus as of now, serving some drinks and food that each of the students ordered. Thankfully, she was wearing pants despite her looking pretty boyish on the fit, she didn't care as long as she feels comfortable walking around and is able to serve the customers properly and professionally. It would become worser if she was wearing a skirt it will be troubling for her to walk around especially that the school is entirely an all boy's school with just a few girls around who was given a special pass to attend the school in which includes both her and Yuriko and the other girls, Leandra Albertine from Savanaclaw, Lucille Chapman from Octavinelle who started dating with Azul and Trey's younger sister, Thalia and more.
Of course with Mariko being a waitress alongside Lucille who was actually wearing her unique female Octavinelle dorm uniform, a lot of boys would definitely catch their attention however, unlike Lucille who has her boyfriend watching her, Mariko's boyfriend was never around, guilty that she may have hurted his feelings but she knows Trey is very patient and understanding to her however, she can't help but still become anxious sometimes, afraid that she might have hurt him especially that it's their anniversary today.
As she served a drink to a student, Lucille tapped Mariko causing her to look and smile at the lavender haired girl. "Hi, Lucille! What's wrong?" Lucille smiled at her and whispered to her ear.
"Someone wanted you to get his order on table 37 and he didn't choose anyone but you." Mariko blinked her eyes, confused that she can't even read Lucille's expressions, she's just smiling at her. "Who exactly?" Mariko asked and for some reason, she felt her heart thumping who would be asking Lucille for Mariko to personally order for him?
The mermaid princess just giggled. "Just find it out yourself~ Ta ta!!!~ I still need to serve for the other customers." Lucille went ahead leaving Mariko standing, confused as she stood on her place for a whole minute before keeping her composure and going to the said table.
Arriving at the table, she noticed the customer was already reading the menu, covering his entire face but once she saw the gloved hands, her heart started racing but she still tried to keep things professional and kept her composure.
"May, I take your order sir? One of the waitress told me that you wanted me to take your order personally." She said even though it almost came out as a stutter. Trey sets down the menu as he looked at Mariko, a hand placed on his cheek making the burgundy haired girl blush.
"You're my girlfriend so it's normal for me to call you personally." Trey chuckles and as much as he wants to greet Mariko with a kiss, he can't due to them being in a public place flocked by students and both of them wanted to have their privacy as a couple for the meantime. Mariko smiles at the words and Trey smiled back.
"Hello, Trey." Mariko says while Trey nods as his returning gesture.
"Hello, Mariko." Their amber and brown orbs found it's gaze on each other's lips, they are both desperate for affection but it's not the time right now since Mariko is still working and she needs to serve for Trey for he's also a customer at Mostro Lounge and she needs to be professional and should not be way too obvious.
They are at the edge of wanting to be with each other so badly but they should keep it a secret until they are ready to officially reveal their relationship to the others.
The tension between them dispersed when a student called Floyd so they could order. Remembering what Mariko was supposed to do, she immediately grabbed her notepad inside her jacket and fixed her fedora a bit as she took out a ballpen.
"Trey, your order I still need to work." Mariko said, a pout forming on her lips knowing that she won't be with Trey for awhile due to how busy she is.
"Right, I almost forgot..." Trey says as he told Mariko his order while writing it down which took at least a minute and right after she was done, Mariko moved closer to Trey, their shoulders touching each other.
They both wanted that intimacy so badly as she showed the list to Trey so he can confirm his order suddenly, a shiver ran through Mariko's spine as she felt Trey sneakingly putting his gloved hand on her waist and he made sure that the students won't see it making her blush, she loved that and whispered to Trey after he confirmed that the list was right.
"You sure are desperate today---" a small gasp came out of Mariko's mouth after she felt Trey gently kissing her temple, her face was completely red.
"How about I say that back to you? You look more desperate than me." Trey teased with a seductive tone, his iconic smug look taking it's place on his once relaxed face and Mariko felt like she'll pass out.
Her boyfriend really knows his moves, he always loved making her blush through teasing while being patient and understanding to her at the same time in which Mariko genuinely loved from him and that just made her fall harder for the vice housewarden of Heartslabyul.
"Trey, can we continue this later? I'm still doing my shift..." Mariko complained as she pouted. Trey stopped smirking and sighed, cupping Mariko's cheek when no one was looking at them.
He then whispered."Take your time, sweetie pie I'll be here until your shift ends." Mariko melted at Trey's pet name to her and she smiled brightly despite her face still looking very red as Trey removed his hand on Mariko's waist.
"Thanks darling, we still need to celebrate after all." Trey nods and when he was about to reply, Mariko gave him a quick kiss on his cheek. "See you later!!" She left Trey's table leaving the male with a flustered face, he was caught off-guard of the kiss but he still laughed about it afterwards.
"I love her so much..." He said to himself as he tried to keep himself entertained for the meantime while waiting for his order.
When Mariko was behind the counter where no one can see her, she was a giggling mess and smiling to herself but that immediately faded after she felt the guilt of not being there at the meet-up with Trey again as she peeked behind the pillar, watching her boyfriend just silently scrolling through his phone, patiently waiting. Floyd took notice of what Mariko was doing.
"Heyyyy, Red Herring~" the other tweel said and Mariko squeaked at the nickname, since it was the nickname Floyd gave her due to her hair color.
"What's the matter Floyd?" Mariko asked while Floyd rubbed his nape.
"You've been looking at Sea Turtle this whole time." the tweel replied and when Mariko was about to reply again, Jade interrupted it.
"Dont mind her Floyd." he said nonchalantly and Floyd softly groaned.
"Ehhh but I wanna know though." Jade just chuckled and noticed the list on Mariko's hand.
"Is that a list on your hand?" the calmer tweel points it with his gloved hand and Mariko nods.
"Yep, it's Trey's order." Mariko hands the tiny paper to Jade as he looked through it.
"Very well then. I'll have it prepared and you'll be serving it to Trey." there was a tiny hint of Jade smirking as he said those words and Mariko just blushed at it since she knew what the tweel was smirking about as she cleared her throat and saw a student raising their hand to order in which Mariko obliged to immediately while Jade went inside the kitchen and Floyd walked towards Jamil and Kalim's table since Kalim wanted to order.
After Floyd got the duo's order he immediately asked them. "Hey, Sea Snake and Sea Otter... Red Herring is also in your dorm right?"
Kalim grinned. "Yes, she is!! She is usually our musician at the dorm whenever there's a celebration and she loves helping Jamil out with the cooking Ahahaha!!~"
Jamil sighed and crossed his arms."Kalim please..." He then looked at his fellow basketball club member. "Yeah, she is... why'd you ask?"
Floyd hummed. "Dunno, for some reason I got curious and I noticed whenever Sea Turtle and Red Herring are together, something seems different between those two and their gazes."
"Ah, I know that as well... Mariko loves going to Heartslabyul dorm the entire time from what I noticed and I'm guessing that she goes there to meet up with Trey but I have no idea why." Jamil said.
"Their probably dating!!!~ I definitely see it between them." the white haired male replied.
"DATING?!!" Jamil and Floyd whisper-yelled at the same time.
"It's just a guess guys!" Kalim backfired while Jamil placed a finger under his chin as he tried to accumulate every obvious gestures that the two were doing. "Well, after you said that... I think some things are definitely clicking on me." Jamil muttered. "They seem to be very intimate whenever they are together. I don't think that's normal with best friends."
"Right, I saw it earlier when she was looking at Sea Turtle from the distance." Floyd said as both him and Jamil tried to piece everything together with Kalim just looking so clueless and confused at the middle.
"Are we actually trying to crack this thing going on between them? We shouldn't be nosyy." uttered Kalim. The three spent alot of time just trying to solve it until Floyd realized that he should serve for the Scarabia duo and Mariko already served Trey's orders now she's busying herself and she also saw Riddle, Cater, Ace and Deuce arriving as well and she served for them. She already missed Trey even though he's also at Mostro Lounge and she felt something is not right. This continued till 9:00pm wherein the students slowly started dispersing and going back to their respected dorms until no one came anymore and everyone already left excluding the Octa Trio, Lucille, Mariko and Trey.

【9:00 PM - VIP Lounge】
"Very good everyone!! We successfully served all the students coming by~" Azul said proudly while both Mariko and Floyd were laying down on the couch. Jade on the other hand was organizing Azul's contracts while Lucille served some tea and cake for the three.
"I'm exhausted... I call dibs on this couch." Floyd complained while Jade calmed his dear twin brother down.
"Your promotion really suceeded without using any of your contracts ehhh?" Mariko placed her fedora on top of her face and whined. "This was such a long day on Octavinelle mann, I'm glad it's already over with."
"And I appreciate you for coming by Mariko, thank you for helping out." Azul chuckled as Mariko peeked on her fedora.
"I'm not sure if it's genuine or you're flattering me, Azul." Mariko said pouting as she watched Lucille wrapping her arms around his neck and resting her head on his shoulder while Azul held his girlfriend's arm, a smile present on his face as he replied to his upperclassman.
"Oh, trust me~ I'm being genuine~ Very genuine." Azul replied that made Mariko raise a brow but she stil went with the flow and sat up on the couch.
"Are we already done here though? Trey is still outside waiting for me..." Azul nods and took a sip of the tea Lucille served and ate a slice of cake.
"Yeah, we're done here. You can go home or do you wanna stay here with Trey for the meantime?"
"I think I'll stay here with him for now..." Mariko said."Jade?" She looked at her tweel best friend while he placed a hand on his chest.
"Yes, what do you need Mariko?" Jade asked, putting the last stack of contracts inside the huge vault behind Azul's desk. Mariko then answered.
"Would you kindly serve some drinks and snacks for Me and Trey if you don't mind."
"I would gladly do so, please do wait for me patiently." Jade says and Mariko thanked him before she put on her fedora again and said her good nights to Floyd, Azul and Lucille.
"Have fun with Trey!!~" Lucille said smiling and Mariko smiled back before leaving the VIP Lounge with Jade.

When they both arrived back at the main lounge, Mariko looked at Trey who has been patiently waiting for her, she clasped her hands together and was bouncing about on her place and little did she know that Jade was still beside her who was already smiling before he left to go to the kitchen to prepare the couple's food and drinks.
Trey noticed her and he couldn't help but smile as he waved at her. Mariko looked around to make sure it's only her and Trey at the lounge.
Confirming that no one is around, Mariko squealed as she ran towards Trey who already stood up and she literally jumped towards him, Trey catching her with ease but their weight made them both fall on the long couch and both of their fedoras fell off of their heads with Mariko on top of Trey who was smirking up at her before giving her a kiss on the lips in which Mariko kissed back, putting a hand on his chest while Trey placed his hand on Mariko's slim waist and the other cupping her cheek.
It's apparently obvious that they were desperate for each other this whole time after having such a short time being together due to how busy they were. Every kisses they were having as they make out made both of them feel so much intimacy for each other especially that they both felt a little touch starved and with them finally being together for a long period of time together just felt so right with the two.
After a span of three minutes, both of them pulled away to catch their breaths as they gazed upon each other's eyes and connected their foreheads together with Trey giving Mariko a quick kiss on her forehead while Mariko kissed Trey's cheek.
"So, how's your shift?" Trey asked while Mariko groaned, getting off of Trey and sitting on the couch as the male followed her actions.
"Tiring, Azul did a new promotion causing the lounge to be packed with students." Mariko complained as Trey pats her smooth hair, relaxing her and making her smile. "What about you?"
Trey sighed in exasperation."Same thing, I was also busy at the unbirthday party today and I did so much tasks as a vice housewarden." Mariko held Trey's hand and he held back her hand.
"Awww poor you, I guess you need a massage." Trey smiles softly at Mariko.
"I appreciate that sweetie pie." Trey lifted Mariko's hand as he kissed it which was his love language to her.
"Anything for you darling." Mariko replies.
Both of them smiled at each other while keeping eye contact and holding hands until they heard Jade opening the door that leads to the kitchen causing them to immediately stop holding hands and pose like they were just casually talking as friends while he was preparing.
Their always trying their best to keep their relationship private until they are ready to announce it. Mariko and Trey then saw Jade approaching them while holding a tray with the ones Mariko ordered.
"I brought your orders, Mariko." Jade said smiling while she returned the gesture.
"Thanks Jade!!" Mariko replied as Jade bowed politely.
"I'll leave you two be now." Trey looked so confused but he still thanked Jade anyway before he left. Once Jade was out of their sight, Trey looked back to Mariko. "Did you just actually ordered for us?" he asked, amused and Mariko giggled.
"Yep, I did~ After all I wanted to do something for our anniversary." Trey laughs as he placed his arm on the table.
"And here I was planning to order for you and count it as a date but you got into me first " he said and Mariko got flustered, thinking that she might have been wrong.
"Eeeekk!! I'm sorry Trey--" She was interrupted by a peck on her lips as her eyes blinked on a cute way.
"Don't apologize, it's okay." Trey reassured as he stroked Mariko's wrist. The female smiled shyly at him.
"It's just that... I felt so guilty that I wasn't able to meet up with you at the dorm. I was called here on a bad timing." Mariko admits while Trey spoke soothingly to her.
"That's okay, it's not your fault. It was just a coincidence that Azul needed you here as well during our anniversary." Mariko's bitter expression lightened up a bit after Trey said it.
"Do you mean it?" The bespectacled male nods.
"Yes, I mean it... I mean it's still work so I definitely understood why after Cater showed me your Magicam post. If you think I'm angry, I'm not don't worry."
"Trey..." Trey smiles softly at her.
"I fully trust you Mariko." Mariko smiles softly as she blushed and allowed Trey to gently pull her closer to him. "And I love you."
"I love you too, Trey... you have no idea." Mariko admits as she hugged her lover. "Thank you for always being patient with me."
Trey kisses Mariko's forehead. "I'll always be here for you anytime and I can be your crying shoulder if you need it." He says making Mariko tear up in which Trey noticed so he immediately wiped off her tears. "Don't cry sweetie pie."
"It's just that... I feel so lucky to be with you... people like you are already so rare in this cruel world..." Mariko sniffled.
"You know that I'm still not perfect right?"
"People can never be perfect, I know that... but I'm really still glad you came into my life Trey..." Trey felt touched of Mariko's words.
"Mariko..."
"I mean it, thank you much for coming into my life... I love you so much." Mariko's smile was so bright as a sunshine and the only thing that Trey can see was nothing but genuine happiness.
He stared at Mariko for a brief moment before diving in to kiss her again in which Mariko returned immediately.
They pulled away for the meantime and said a certain phrase at the same time. "Happy Anniversary." Right after they said those words to each other, they kissed each other once again this time with more passion.
They had so much fun celebrating together until it was late. Instead of Trey going back to Heartslabyul, he decided to stay with Mariko at Scarabia for the night and Mariko kept her promise with Yuriko.
In the end, Trey and Mariko cuddled each other until they both fell asleep with Trey being Mariko's big spoon. She decided to give her gift to Trey the next day but for the meantime. It was the best night she ever had.
