Chapter Text

The Hunter is beginning to feel tired, the night is long and the dream endless.
Their journey to find the pale blood has been obstructed or redirected far to many times already. This search seems almost useless at this point.

“I don’t know for how much longer I can resist, I’m tired, very…”

Thoughts like these make their way into the hunters mind, each louder than the previous.

The moon, now red like blood, looks so big and beautiful; hypnotising, it makes the Hunter think about the last couple of hours, and how unbelievable it is what they have lived and faced. Coming to Yharnam just looking for some magic blood to cure an illness, only to end up in a mess like this, truly unbelievable.

But there is nothing that can get them out of here, the contract has been made and they will wake up every time until the sun rises again.

Not hungry, not thirsty, just tired.

Standing up from the stairs, now tainted with the still fresh blood from the hunters clothes, and readying their weapons; the Hunter begins walking to the Cathedral district, with the letter inviting them to the Cainhurst castle well kept and secured.

“Should I tell him? I know just how eager he is to find this place, and for me to simply be invited like this? I do feel bad for him”

After slaying once more the beast on their path and finally reaching Oedons chapel, the Hunter starts to feel the same stomach ache that when they finally see the moment to finish a prey that has been particularly difficult. Nervousness?

“No, I will go there by myself and see what everything is about. If I find something worth it perhaps I will tell him”

After passing by the Cathedral district and entering the Hemwick Charnal Lane, and once more slaying all the foul beasts there, the Hunter finally arrives to the pillar where they were summoned.
A ghostly carriage arrived and soon enough the Hunter was in Cainhurst castle.

“Bloody chilling”

It was, far too cold for the hunters liking and far too silent.
After successfully avoiding the giant flea like creatures and the main hall aswell, up to the giant library the hunter is left with no other choice than to use the open window to circle back an find a new path.

After some tortuous time, they are now facing what will be their next prey.

Logarius stands amidst the snow storm ready to attack.

Difficult, long, almost imposible, draining; that is what this fight felt like. Soaking wet with blood and with the crown on their head, the hunter can see now what it seems to be the last section of the forsaken castle, where the last vileblood surely awaits.

After ascending through the long stairs the voice of a woman welcomes them.
The queen herself is here, and there is also a closed letter meant to be delivered a long time ago.

“This must be Alfred’s he will be happy to know there is a way into the castle, and it has been granted to him”

After declining the offer of the queen of becoming a vileblood, much to the hunters desire to finish the hunt aswell, they turn back and reach for one of the lanterns to travel to the dream.

“I am sick of this hunt too, but what is there to be done? The church isn’t even fully united any longer, they are falling to pieces. So right now who could really end this nightmare? Annalise?”

The hunter chuckles lightly at their own thoughts. She is forever trapped in that tower, even if the hunter had accepted her blood, nothing would have changed, except perhaps for themself, for their blood.

—————————

Alfred inspected the letter astonished.

“You’ve done it hunter, many thanks” In a euphoric attack Alfred enveloped the hunter in their arms, and oh how good it felt, the warmth and the feeling of strong arms holding them for once. The hunter did not want to let the hug end, but they understood that Alfred had a mission to fulfil.

“It’s the least I could do” Their eyes connected once more that night, but the hunter looked at his friend with different ones, he’s not really looking at a friend, he’s looking at something different “You have been nothing but kind and helpful with your knowledge”

“As a fellow hunter it is only my duty to make sure not one more of us descents into madness, I too enjoyed having someone to talk to and spend the quiet hours”

After almost whispering the last sentence, Alfred took the hunters hand and left a gentle kiss in it, with his eyes always looking at the others.

“I will see you soon”

“Good luck, and may the good blood guide your way”

Alfred smiled sweetly at the hunter before turning back and heading to the Hemwick Charnal Lane.
The hunter watched him go with a smile of their own hidden by their mask.

—————————

“I want to see him again, I need to know where he is, what he is doing. Is he alright? Did he succeed in his mission? Of course he did, he is good”

The hunter looks at the moon while thinking about their beloved friend, or just beloved.
It had taken some time of thinking to realise why that hug and kiss felt so gut wrenching, in a good way.

“I wish to hug him and to kiss him properly, I wish to see him again after his obvious success, and welcome him like a wife would to his husband after war”

The hunters thought traveled to less and less pure places.
Imagining just how good, how hot the executioners hands must feel in contact with their cold skin, they are sure he is very pleasant to the eyes under all those garments, strong arms and legs, big shoulders and back and defined stomach, how big he must be and how good he would feel inside the hunter.
He is a gentleman, even with the hunter; and to think about the beautiful words of endearment he would say to them drives the hunter almost insane.

The hunter feels hot and bothered, starting to need a release that killing a bunch of beast could never grant them.
They need to find a quiet place and tend to their personal needs.

Iosefka’s clinic, now completely empty and safe, is the perfect place.

In a secluded room in the upper floor of the clinic, a room which must have belonged to Iosefka herself, it had a bed a wardrobe and a simple desk in it, some light given by a couple of candles lit by the hunter, and the moon light entering through the windows.

Discarding their clothes their hands immediately travel south, it doesn’t take long for the hunters imagination to go back to where it was, finding their hole and starting to play with it as if their fingers were someone else’s.

“Gods, I need that man, this feels good, oh…yes, oh yes”

With eyes rolling back in their head and fingers gracing just the right spot, the hunter comes hard, harder than ever.

“Again… I need this again… I can’t get enough, I need him…”

And again they search for their hole, and again they come hard.

The hunter spends too long doing this, until they tire themself.

“Mpf, this was good, oh yes I needed something like this, now I fell like I’m floating”

After taking a breath the hunter puts their clothes on again and walks out of the clinic, into the long night and the hunt.
