Summary
Nightwing pressed the button to ring the buzzer inside. A few moments later, the metallic door slid open to reveal a towering, fit, orange-skinned woman with green eyes and long, flowing red hair. She wore a low cut, tight-fitting purple dress with matching thigh high boots. She smiled down at the three of them.
“Why hello,” she said warmly, “You must be the Titans. Welcome to my home. My name is Koriand’r. Please do come in.”
“Uh…” managed Nightwing, looking up slack-jawed at Koriand’r as she continued to smile at him.
“Thank you,” said Kid Flash, placing a hand on Nightwing’s shoulder and snapping him to attention.
Koriand’r led them through the narrow metal hallway, which was barely tall enough to accommodate her enormous stature. She led them into a communal area, a colorless room with mostly metallic surfaces. The guests looked around for a moment before opting to stand.
“How can I help you?” asked Koriand’r.
“Allow me to introduce us,” said Nightwing, “I’m… Nightwing. This is Kid Flash and pretty girl.”
“Wonder Girl,” corrected Wonder Girl.
“That’s what I said,” said Nightwing.
Sweat had visibly begun to form on Nightwing’s brow.
