It was the night of Reki’s beef against Adam. Reki, Langa, Miya and Shadow stood waiting for Adam to show up. “Where’s Cherry and Joe?” Reki asked looking around before a red carpet rolled towards the small pack and Langa. Adam rolled straight to them. “What a beautiful sight this lovely evening. The flames of passion burn bright between us, Little Red.” Adam said pulling dozens of roses.
Reki for his part jumped behind Langa as Adam got to one knee. Langa took the bouquet from Adam. “Thanks.” He said in a monotone voice. “Those weren’t for you.” Adam growled out getting up before going back to his flamboyant persona. “Well shall we dance my lovely Little Red?” Adam said bowing like a prince would to a princess before a dance. “Adam!” Joe's voice was heard from above as he and Cherry closer. “How about instead of a member of my pack you challenge the Alpha instead.” Joe said as Adam just smiled before wrapping an arm around Reki pulling him away from Langa. “2 against 2? I don’t know I haven’t trained my Eve yet. Maybe after I show him everything I got and then some. Well I can schedule you in after Snow.” Adam said playing with Reki’s collar.
Reki feeling uncomfortable pulled away holding out his Skateboard. “Hold on are we going to race or not?” Reki asked shaken by Adam’s actions when he only wants him to pay for what he said. “Oh does my little sun want to dance the night away?” Adam asked making Reki’s tail stand up along with Cherry’s do to Adam saying that same thing when they were younger. “I just want to have fun.” Adam heard Reki which was exactly what he did.
Adam had fun playing the cat to Reki’s mouse. To Adam he was showing true dominance that Alpha’s lack. How insignificant omega’s pheromones react to him even when Reki was sending pheromones of distress, pain and fear. Adam became angry when Langa came on a stolen bike inhaled sharply before dashing to Reki as he lay unconscious next to Adam.
Langa just picked up the omega fox laying by the lion’s feet. Langa didn’t care about Adam or what he has to say he just growled at him when Adam stepped closer. “Still have some work to do. Do worry little one, you’ll be my Eve soon enough.” Adam said not caring about the threatening pheromones that Langa was releasing. “As for you, I’ll slay you down here soon.” Adam said as a black car stopped in front of them.
Soon after Shadow showed up with his car telling Langa to get in. The whole pack waited in the waiting room to hear about Reki. Reki regains consciousness on their way to the hospital where he throw up and felt better with just a small head wound and broken wrist from when Adam held his hand to hard.
Once he came out smiling at them Joe informed Reki that he would be staying with the pack tonight as Cherry being the pack mom he is stressed out over him. Langa knowing he’s not part of the pack yet asked if Shadow could drop him off first. “I said I want pack close. Langa.” Cherry said locking tails with Reki while holding Miya close. “But I’m…” Langa started only to hear a low hiss from Cherry. “Pack night now~!” Cherry hissed out shutting up Langa as Joe pat him on the back. “Rule number one about Omegas they are stubborn.” Joe said as Shadow laughed as Miya couldn’t move five inches before Cherry grabbing him like a toddler.

Langa woke up with the sun hitting just right. The first thing he saw was the color white from the ceiling. Looking around Langa remember that he was at the Nanjo home with the infinity pack all in the living room. Looking around he saw Hiromi took up the couch as Cherry hold on to Miya on the futon. Both Reki and Langa had their own futon facing each other. Langa could see that the only person who wasn’t still asleep was Joe.
Getting up Langa made it to the restroom where he heard someone talking in one of the rooms. “Ya sorry for the late notification Ms. Hasegawa. Yes that’s right one of my pack mates got hurt last night and my mate was in distress he wanted everyone close. Langa is just fine. No it was Reki. Nothing to serious. Okay thank you we’ll take care of your son.” Langa heard Kojiro talking to his mom. Langa left after hearing Kojiro twisting the door knob.
After getting out of the restroom Langa saw that almost everyone was up only Kaoru and Miya. “They suffer from insomnia so it’s better to let them sleep in a bet more.” Kojiro said as he starts cooking breakfast. Reki came back taking the seat next to Langa. “Morning.” Reki said yawning as he lay his head on his non injured hand. “Western style breakfast okay with you?” Kojiro asked getting a nod from both teens. “Sorry I can’t stay for breakfast we have some important deliveries to make.” Hiromi said grabbing his car keys. “Okay see ya later then.” Kojiro said as Hiromi left.
Kaoru and Miya woke up after that. They all ate breakfast before leaving to start the day. Reki and Langa grabbed their uniform before heading to the Nanjo house so they went straight to school. Langa kept an eye on Reki as he been out of it most of the morning. “Reki are you okay?” Langa asked ears pinned down as he look over at the fox. Reki eyes still dropping from lack of sleep turn to give the artic wolf a small smile to reassure him.
Reki had a nightmare about Adam and Langa racing with Langa dying and Reki taken bay force, pregnant and forced to do dangerous stunts. Reki woke up screaming letting out a scent of distress only to see he was in class with everyone in his class looking at him. Langa looked over worried about Reki but could only give him support by being there. “Do…” Langa heard looking at Reki as they drunk from their lunch bottles. “Do you have to go against Adam.” Reki asked making Langa look over at him. “After what he did to you. I have to. I can’t let him get away with that.” Langa said as Reki nodded sighing looking down. “Is he really worth it.” Reki asked looking down before being pulled into a side hug by Langa. “Your worth it.” Langa said before taking a bite of his sandwich as Reki blush before looking away to take a bite of his bento.

Once Reki got home he was greeted by his mom and twin sister, Nanaka and Chihrio. “Welcome home Reki. Let me get a good look at you. When I heard from Kojiro that you fell down on some jagged rocks I was worried. Well apparently not as worried as Kaoru was a patently.” Masae said as the twins asked Reki if he could spend some time with them. “Listen Reki your dad is going to be late and I have to take your grandma to the hospital. So Nanaka and Chihrio need someone to watch them.” Masae said as Reki's grandmother came out of the living room.
“Okay what about Koyomi?” Reki said as the twins clanged to him. “She has after school club activities today.” Masae said grabbing her keys before telling them goodbye. Reki sighed before getting out his phone to text his pack that he has to watch his younger sisters. “Okay what do you want to do?” Reki asked looking down at them. “Cinderella!” Both yelled out running to living room. Reki fallowed hearing dings in replays from his pack.
Langa told him that everyone was helping him and to take it easy. The other’s also told him to take it easy as his doorbell ring. Reki opened the door to see red, orange, and white tulips in a vase. Reki picked them up wondering who they are for. “There’s no note maybe mom and dad had a fight last night? No. Grandma probably.” Reki thought out loud taking them pass the living room. “Oh pretty flowers can we have some.” The twins asked seeing the tulips. “Sure. I don’t think who ever they belong to would mind.” Reki said smiling as an idea came to him. “I have a great idea want to help me.” Reki said as both cheered.

Koyomi came home an hour later. “I’m home.” Koyomi said as two light foot steps came running to her. “Niichan look at what Niisan help us make.” Nanaka said showing her red tulip crown while Chihrio hold out her white one. “We made you one too.” Chihrio said as Koyomi hold a note that was dropped. “Reki made these well they are his.” Koyomi said properly throwing away the letter thinking Reki tossed it to the side.
Reki came out holding the orange tulip crown greeting his sister. “Hey here we made flower crowns.” Reki said placing it on Koyomi head. “So I've heard it’s been a while since we made any.” Koyomi said taking the offered gift. “Well we grew up and if I remember you said flower crowns are for babies.” Reki teases as Koyomi blushes before collecting herself. “Well the twins worked hard on it so I’ll wear it for them.” Koyomi said as Nanaka and Chihrio cheered.
Reki smiled heading back to the dining room table to pick up the empty vase and dumpling out the water when a ding from his phone alert him. “Bringing home food Dad.” Reki read out loud as he nodded cleaning out the vase. “Dad’s bring home dinner.” Reki said smiling holding his phone. “Oh cool what’s for dinner?” Koyomi asked as Reki shrugged before flipping the TV back on. “Don’t know. Mom is going to be here soon with grandma.” Reki said flipping through the channels. “Go back one they where showing a magical girl anime.” Koyomi asked taking the remote out of Reki’s hand as the twins took each side of their big brother.
