Summary
“You think you can flirt with other men and there be no consequences?” Corlys rasps into her ear and she feels it at her core. Her desire flames in her eyes, begging him to kiss her but she won’t lean into him, not yet, they haven’t finished their game.
“You are mine.” Corlys growls. There's a seriousness to his tone, mixed with a possessiveness and Rhaenys now knows what the whole episode was about. She also knows that his words are completely and unequivocally true.
“Yes.”
“Say it.” He demands, gripping her hip tightly with one hand as his other tilts his chin towards him. Her eyes meet his and he could drown in their purple hue.
“I’m yours. Only yours.” There's no hesitancy in her response.

Summary
If Bertha could bottle it, she would: the heart-pounding exhileration of standing on the ice bowing to raucous applause; how George pulls her into his arms like they're two magnets; the smell of him, slightly sweaty but oh-so-familiar; and the feeling of his heart against her chest, beating in time with hers, until the adrenaline fades and they come slowly unstuck. They're on the top of their game, and definitely on the top of the World standings, and no one, the fans say, is doing ice dance chemistry like them.
It helps that Bertha is irrevocably, hopelessly, immutably in love with George.
It hurts that Bertha is irrevocably, hopelessly, immutably in love with George.

Summary
It's thoroughly unfortunate how Gladys' new governess is driving George to distraction. That is to say - it's his own fault really; he should really have been paying more attention when Bruce had brought him the references of the women who'd applied for the post. That way he might not find himself in this abominable, impossible situation.
Or: when Gladys' governess, Bertha, slips naked into George Russell's bed, the outcome is decidedly different.
