Summary
When he gets back from his brief getaway in another universe, Peter feels different. Hopeful and motivated, his brain is racing with plans even before he’s pulled himself out of his universe’s giant, fallen shield-free version of New York Harbor. By the time he’s back to his undecorated, barely furnished studio apartment, he’s composed a to-do list in his head. It’s not specific enough to be called a plan—just goals, small and large, mostly vague, probably all of them too ambitious—but Peter feels good today, high off a fight that ended well and a comradery he hasn’t had in years.
