“Tom,” Hermione said, her exasperated tone one he knew all too well.
"Hermione," Tom mocked, his hand resting on the small of her back. He felt every vertebra of her spine, his fingers lightly tracing them. She was so small in comparison to himself, ore like the little bird that he'd once called her than he cared for her to be. "Or is it 'Mione now?"
He was careful, ever so careful, as he felt her stiffen against him.

Her silver-haired husband crossed the distance between them in a few, quick steps and wrapped his arms around her shoulders. “I’d call you Malfoy,” he murmured, pressing a kiss to her cheek. “But it doesn’t have the same ring as Granger, does it?”
She didn't say that she adored the sound of her name on his lips, or that her heart fluttered when he covered her body with his own as if he would - as if he could - own all of her.
