“I’m sorry, I thought someone else lived here.” God, why is he apologising? Why was that the first thing that came out of his mouth? He pinches himself again, and assesses the gravity of the situation. Hua Cheng is dressed in a pair of old shorts he wears to bed, and a red t-shirt he used to workout in this morning. He’s wearing slides. Slides. This means his toes are out.
