Perhaps it is kissing just as the kettle ends its whistle. Perhaps it is to have gentle fingers lather shampoo onto your hair. Perhaps it is simply a teaspoon of honey. Perhaps it is the sincerity of having not to ask. Perhaps it is just the intricate act of knowing.
Wherein Akaashi is ardently reminded of how love can be a tender being that fills the seams and holds you in place. And Osamu’s love is quiet yet forgiving, gentle yet unrelenting, and all of its forms tethers him to the earth.

Kiyoomi closes his eyes, slowly. He prays that the ground opens up and swallows him whole. He prays that a whole earthquake rocks Tokyo and brings the place down on him, specifically. He prays that some higher power decides to strike him with lightning right this minute.
“Actually,” he says, grinding it out through clenched teeth, “you haven’t seen any other kids around, have you?”
It's Kiyoomi's last resort to ask a stranger for help finding his sister's missing kids, but it's not like this night can get any weirder, and Miya Atsumu's kind of hot.
