Summary

Still.Every day Steve wakes up wondering if today will bring the fight that finally sends him to hell for not being enough. The chance for a lasting, love-filled future has never been more than a pinprick of light in the darkness that can consume James Buchanan Barnes. After seeing Avengers: Endgame, Brianna is pulled into the MCU where Dr. Strange makes a request - go back to the beginning and fix the disaster their world became after the snap. After a brief moment of disbelief, she accepts and is sent back to Tony's first press conference after Afghanistan. This is a story of discovery, love, and relationships, with a bunch of fixing things thrown in.
NOT CANON COMPLIANT! Some people are alive that should be dead, and some people never exist.
Note 1: Reposting this. It was removed with most of my other stories because of personal reasons, but I've decided to repost some of my older stuff.
Note 2: I wrote this extremely quickly after watching Endgame because I absolutely abhorred Steve going back in time to Peggy. This fic is my way of fixing things, of giving it an ending that feels better to me. I've been rewriting it, trying to get my mojo back to finish other stories, and since it was removed, I figured I would post it as I finished updating it.
Note 3: My goal is to post a minimum of 3 edited chapters a week as they are finished. My goal is to get this done as quickly as possible, but it will be at least 3 chapters a week. -

Bucky's running late for the bus and he's stuck in line behind some ridiculous shoulder to waist ratio bastard who's too busy flirting with the baristas to get his frickin' order in. After he tells the dude off, completely in his rights he feels, the damn oversized puppy-faced ass keeps following him around and trying to apologize. And okay, dude is hot like burnin', but Bucky just doesn't have the time or patience for soothing the wounded ego of some gymrat wannabe with an obsession for dressing like he's hiding from the mob and .... why are you laughing, Sam?

Taking a shot at filling my own prompt on avengerkink:
In an AU, instead of taking out Tony's arc-reactor, Obadiah Stane kidnapped Tony, faked his death in a "lab accident", imprisoned him, and forced him to design weapons for Stane.
Bruce is going about his day hacking Stark Industries to learn more about the Hulkbuster weapons when he comes across some discrepancies in the code--subtle things, like inefficient loops in otherwise streamlined code, bizarre variable names, or incorrect comments.
Intrigued, he goes through all the code of SI's weapons industry, comes up with a pattern, and finds the messages Tony has been hiding in the code.
And then he goes and busts Tony out. Lots of badassery, including on Tony's part--he may be defeated, but he's not broken.
