Percy’s mouth opened and closed like a fish out of water. This couldn’t happen, dimensional travel wasn’t possible. How could he possibly survive the travel through the very fabric of space and time?
Nothing is impossible, his mind reminded him. To mortals, his very existence and the world he lived in was impossible. He lived in a world where the Greek gods of old still roamed the world under everyone’s noses, where monsters and demigods fought an eternal battle of survival, where the dead could return to life.
So naturally, the first question out of Percy’s mouth after being confronted with the fact he’d been a victim of an interdimensional kidnapping was, “How do we go back?”

Percy and Jason get transported to a different dimension and now they have to find their way back all while preventing a war between demigods.

“I’m not a child.” He grabbed her arms, pulling her closer. “If I haven’t declared my intentions, it’s because I was waiting for you to be ready. Do you think I bring flowers to just any woman?”
Annabeth felt her heart break. He was so sure, so determined. And she felt so guilty.
“Percy, you’re confused, darling.”
“Don’t call me darling. I know exactly what I want. I know what I feel.” His voice cracked. “Please, marry me. Don’t reject me.”

She revels in the feeling of hearing the nickname thrown her way again and senses the professional boundary she was foolish to ever try to maintain, slipping away.
Annabeth’s heart performs a violent flip against her ribs. She nods, her voice barely a whisper. "See you tomorrow, Percy."

Summary
Percy had no choice but to take the job, not least because he was penniless and had been kicked out of school and both of his parents’ places, with nowhere to go. He didn’t know much about it past the fact that he’d be provided room and board for the usual price a lone, working class Omega would be expected to pay with. Nothing new, save for the benefits.
What did come as a surprise and a personal new low for him is the fact that it wasn’t so much a job as it was a… transaction, of sorts.
Or, the one where Percy, a male Omega sex worker, was bought as a birthday present for Annabeth, a young rich female Alpha.
