One of Alastor's rose red vests lay rumpled on the bed, the color striking against the cream colored sheets and the cool peach of Vincent's hand. He can see splotches that are darker (like blood, Vincent thinks hysterically) than the rest of the fabric and a hazy image of him crying into a red swath of fabric projects in his mind with all the subtlety of a migraine.
His head hurts, his heart hurts, his temples specifically hurt from the way he passed out with his glasses on. They sit skewed on his hooked nose, leaving the world looking like a hellish blurry mirage of itself. He doesn't know what to do- with himself, with his life, with anything.
Then the cathedral radio turns on.

Allie is quiet during sex.
Vox isn't complaining. Would she like to hear what Alastor sounds like in ecstasy? Well, of course. Would she like to hear Alastor moan her name while she comes? Obviously. But that’s not what Allie’s like – and Vox happens to think her shuddering breaths and quiet gasps are pretty fucking hot all on their own.

Pretty pretty pretty, goes Vox’s signal as she watches Alastor get ready. HOLY FUCK!!! it says when Alastor shrugs off her blouse, reaching for her nightgown. Mine, it says when Zestial holds his hand out for Alastor to shake; Adorable, it says when Alastor permits Vox to pet her ears; I wanna stay like this forever, it says when they’re snuggling in bed.
