Most of the time, Tim is fine. He doesn't like to wallow in his own misery — not only is it unbecoming of a Robin, it just shows how much of a useless beta he is, not able to balance out his own emotions. When everything becomes too much, he likes to find himself a quiet spot where he can purr to himself and take down the walls he builds around himself.
In all the years he's been alive, no one caught him yet. He never expected his little purring session in Titan's Tower would be interrupted by not one, but two crime lords alongside another Tim, and even less so for it to turn as well as it does.

Inspired by a tumblr post by @goldenaltar about a no astrophage/space diplomacy AU I literally could NOT stop thinking about since I first read it.
The first collaboration between eridians and humans involves planning for a proper first contact, out in space so their respective interstellar trip times are cut (approximately) in half. Grace was conscripted for ‘Project Neighborhood’ as one of many biologists on the team. He sneaks out to the tunnel connecting their ships after hours to try and catch a glimpse of a Real Life Alien - and there's an eridian on the other side who has the exact same idea.
When their sneaking around catches up to them, they're forced to consider the implications of all this sneaking around, and maybe lean into them a little to keep from being thrown out the nearest airlock - or starting an intergalactic war.

He keeps hallucinating shadows of monsters creeping about the flat, and Sung Jinwoo himself is the picture-perfect housemate that he could have only wished for — if he ignores how the man doesn’t seem to sleep and sometimes looks as though he’s forgotten how to act human — and there’s this persistent, nagging voice in his head that keeps screaming at him that he’s forgotten something essential.
But the rent here is affordable and Jinchul has bigger problems to worry about as Chief Detective of the Seoul Police Department. He’s pretty sure he could handle the hypothetical eldritch monster lurking in his flat anyways, if worst comes to worst… right?
