    Summary

Pomni stood rigid, catatonic, when, upon opening the door, the ungainly figure of someone she had not expected to see for a long time was revealed—much less at her house, at her door.

Felix (whom she knew as Jax, a name now too distant for her) was shivering. His shoulders slumped, seeming to carry more weight than someone so young should have to bear; his eyes were downcast, empty, lacking the sparkle that was so characteristic of him—and the same sparkle that he had preserved even in the circus. His face, covered in blood flowing from open wounds (only visible on his face, but she knew there were more), showed fear, a vulnerability she had never seen in him before.

Felix trembled before falling onto her chest. She shouted his name, but he didn't register it enough to respond.

    Summary

Caine is all powerful, they all know that much. He is capable of anything in this digital world. He is the circus, in a way.

But he’s also a wacky AI. And tech like that can get buggy, no matter how advanced.

Or: Caine glitches during an update and accidentally opens up the cellar, letting out all the abstracted cast members that were supposed to stay locked away forever. Jax shows he cares more than he lets on.

    Summary

    (Title pending…)

Jax abstracts some time after episode 8, and then wakes up before the start of the pilot. He has a second chance to make things right. But what does he actually do with it? If he does anything at all. After all, this is Jax.

(In other words, the author has come to the conclusion that the only way Jax could possibly be redeemed at this point is if he goes back in time to start over, and even then, its inconclusive whether or not he actually will)

    Summary

And it’s finally quiet, in the hospital. Dark enough without the overhead lights that the entire wing feels calm and his body doesn’t twitch uncomfortably at the constant surveillance he’s under during the day. It’s quiet, and he’s alone.

Every day that he’s been out of surgery, that’s about the moment Izuku shows up.

He’s less and less unprepared for the sound of his door being opened at this hour, the mechanical click from the handle and the heavy, low squeak of the panel shifting slowly ajar. It’s been about a week, now. Even the first time, Katsuki had a hard time feeling the shock he tells himself he maybe should have.

Instead, like every other time, he feels relief.

    Summary

Seabright Bay is too small to breathe in, and Izuku Midoriya swore he’d never come back. But his mother is sick, so he does. The town, the ocean, the painful memories and the boy who made it hell all waiting where he left them. Katsuki Bakugou isn’t the golden prodigy anymore, he’s a sun-bleached apology in a surf shop, a storm he never learned to name.

What started at thirteen with salt, a kiss and a cruelty... never stopped pulling. Years of silence calcified into hate, regret, self-loathing and a want neither of them knows how to survive. Now they keep colliding in doorways and bars, on sandbars and sidewalks, caught between who they were and who they’re terrified to be. Izuku is done drowning. Bakugou is done pretending the tide isn’t his fault.

This is about the love you survive, the apologies that come too late, and the kind of forgiveness that feels like standing in the break and choosing to stay.

“Because the truth was, loving Bakugou had never been the problem. It was surviving it.”

“You don’t get to call this unfinished, you hear me? You ended it the second you made me wish I was someone else.”
