Summary
There’s a dissonant twang as the door shuts behind the Witcher. The tavern falls into silence, seemingly holding its collective breath. Geralt takes a long time taking it in. He can't move his eyes past the boots, the dark red, tailored trousers.
Jaskier stands atop a table in the middle of the crowd, his fingers pressing the strings down onto the fret, mouth partially open with the next words of the song falling dead from his lips as his eyes meet Geralt's.
Or
Geralt is racing to Kaer Morhen, Jaskier is escaping mercenaries, and their paths happen to be intertwined by destiny.

“God, I'm so sorry Bruce.” Diana says and she moves her hand from his neck to cradle the top of his head. She rests her cheek there. “We're here now, my love. This is normal, I promise. You were so good. So good.” She tightens her hold on him and Clark's kissing his neck softly.
