Summary
It's Halloween, and this year the annual party has been moved to Mark's apartment in celebration of him moving out on his own. The night goes by as one expects it would until Mark and Jaemin disappear mysteriously, right under their noses. Only five remain then, and it becomes a race to see who can solve the mystery first. The clock is ticking.
Alternatively, a story of growth and friendship through a sudden game of hide-and-go-seek, with more than a little twist.

Secrets- so easy to tell, yet so hard to keep.
Under the new government, the United States of America doesn't seem so united anymore, and more people are forced to keep secrets for the sake of theirs and their loved ones lives. When Renjun's neighbourhood greets their first new family since Renjun was born, things start to change for the worse, and Renjun has to think very carefully about who he can trust with his secrets.
Alternatively, the fic where Renjun meets a new friend while painting on his balcony, and his well-structured life starts to fall apart.

Renjun was aware how his good grades, athleticism, and churchgoing all seemed like a mask. Something shiny and good to distract from the decay and delinquency below. He knew how his friends must think he was agonizing inside. And in a lot of ways, he was. But he didn’t like to think of his good attributes as a façade. Renjun wasn’t faking anything. He was going through his life as genuinely as it was safe to. Just like everyone else.

“There’s a situation,” Mark tells Jaemin over the phone.
“Did you fall down the stairs again?” Jaemin asks.
“No,” Mark says, and glances over at Donghyuck. “It’s—well, there’s a zombie, for one—”
“A what—”
“And, uh, in my previous life, we dated,” Mark continues. “Apparently.”
There’s silence on the other end of the phone.
“For the record,” Donghyuck points out, “I’m not a zombie.”(or: donghyuck hops out casket-fresh, and mark starts to believe, just a little, in soulmates.)

Summary
Listen. The whole vigilante thing wasn’t Donghyuck’s idea, it was Mark’s. Donghyuck only agreed because he’s absolutely in love with him, and maybe because he was a little bored with smashing windows and jumping off of rooftops.
Saving their city also wasn’t his idea, but Donghyuck’s learning that very little is actually in his control when it comes to Mark.
(or: Mark Lee dies twice, and nine months later, he and Donghyuck unfortunately find the fate of the city resting on their shoulders).
