Collei is 5. Her shaking hands have been getting a bit better, but the scales are back. Her drawings have more straighter lines than before, and her name stays on the line. But the man in glasses was still talking about how she’s going to ‘get better’, patting her back gently after each visit. Collei doesn’t want his fake pity. She’s seen her classmates collapse on the floor, seen their shaking hands that they hide behind their backs. They never return, and all she does for them is lay daisies at a memorial.
