    Summary

While jerking off and thinking of each other, Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov switch bodies. With a week before they meet for their first game of their second professional season, they've got no choice but to live each others' lives until then. But will seeing each other in person reverse whatever switched them?

Ilya plans to enjoy the admiration, while Shane is about to learn what it's like to be respected, but not loved. They both also find they're enjoying their predicament more than they should - and they've switched more than just appearances. Tastes and language skills remain, as do echoes of other memories.

Shane's about to learn there's more to the dickish Russian than an attitude and talent, and Ilya's about to learn that being the golden boy isn't all it's cracked up to be.

    Summary

Shane Hollander works at a coffee shop, plays hockey, keeps his head down, and doesn’t ask questions he doesn’t need the answers to.

So when a new regular starts showing up—quiet, watchful, Russian-accented, and conducting invitation-only meetings in the back—Shane notices. When that same man takes an unsettling interest in Shane’s closing shifts, his routines, and his safety, Shane does what feels sensible: he adjusts his behavior and keeps his mouth shut.

Ilya Rozanov orders an Americano. He reads, but only in Russian. He worries when people work late alone.

They are operating with very different definitions of danger.

If he didn’t ask questions, he couldn’t be lied to.

    The rules were simple.

    1. Do not ask questions you don’t need the answer to.
    2. Do not share personal information freely.
    3. Do not be alone with Ilya Rozanov.
    4. Do not give him a reason to think you’re afraid.

    Summary

It starts—like most things in his life, apparently—with Rose Landry. More specifically, it starts with Rose Landry drunkenly informing him that Shane was actually, really, really good in bed (for a gay ex-boyfriend, that is).

This is information Ilya did not expect to receive from her of all people. Unfortunately, now he can't stop thinking about it.

    Summary

Ilya never made it to the cottage.

Ilya Rozanov spent nine years in exile, convincing himself that disappearing was an act of protection. But when he returns to the NHL and signs with the Ottawa Centaurs, the team led by Shane Hollander, his former rival and secret love, he learns that distance has changed nothing. Their bodies still remembers. The air between them still crackles.

Shane Hollander has built a life of careful normalcy: a captain's role, a dog named Anya, the performance of a man who doesn't need anything from anyone. But Ilya's return unmakes all of it in a single moment of eye contact.

As proximity forces them closer to the truth they've been avoiding, Ilya and Shane has to finally confront the question that has haunted them both for years: Was the silence ever protection, or only destruction in disguise?
