Summary
Chaepstow is all rolling hills and spring winds and afternoon rains. The main house sits on the only flat stretch of land, crumbling brick and wide windows and creeping vines. The very idea of it, a house on acres and acres of land pitted with a lazy, winding river and willow trees, is against the entire life Mike has lived. It looks like someplace from England, not an old house in the Indiana countryside.
For the last three months before college, Mike and Will stay on an old property in the middle of nowhere. Feelings come up.

“You’re fine. Just get some more rest, okay?” his dad says eventually.

A curious way to ask the question.
“Anakin,” he replied. It had been given to him by his maiden, and he’d worn it not with shame to have been branded by a mortal, but with pride.

Hunted by humans who would strip him of his hide for gold, Anakin transforms from unicorn into a human, hoping it will keep them at bay. Frightened and injured, he's rescued by a quiet hermit whose demeanor tell of a deep loss. Together, the pair find a way to build anew. -

Summary
Anakin, in a fit of bravery uncharacteristic even for the Hero With No Fear, decides that he should tell the Council about his secret marriage, so that no Sith could ever use it against him to hurt the Jedi Order or the Republic.
It goes swimmingly--if you ignore the fact that Anakin definitely meant to say that he married Padmé in the wake of Geonosis, and yet the entire Jedi Council seems to think he married Obi-Wan.
And also if you ignore the fact that now no one believes them when they tell them flat out that Anakin is married to and in love with Padmé, not his old master.
And also if you also ignore the fact that Anakin doesn't know how to ignore the fact that being in love with Obi-Wan sort of makes a lot of sense. In fact, it feels like the only thing that's made sense in the last four years, come to think of it.

Summary
When Master Skywalker is chosen to rescue Jabba the Hutt’s son from kidnappers, he unknowingly walks into the remnants of a trap set by a Sith who haunts the halls of Jabba’s palace in wait for him.
But even Obi-Wan, the young Sith betrayed by his masters and sold as a pleasure slave to the Hutts, isn’t sure what he wants from the Jedi Master anymore. The plan had been to trigger Skywalker’s Fall to the Dark side, but now Skywalker is Obi-Wan’s only hope for freedom. But how can he possibly convince the man to care about him enough to not abandon him at the end of his week-long mission?
After all, he’s never been able to do it before—convince someone to choose him, that is. The odds that Master Skywalker will be any different are slim to none.

Peter’s hand stilled on his fries, and he looked down, studying the paper wrapper on the dingy plastic tray. It occurred to him, then, just how true Happy’s words rang. Tony would show he cared in these grand gestures, in the things he’d build and plan and anticipate, but never in the simple words Peter thought would make it feel real. Growing up, May and Ben were polar opposites— they didn’t have the money or the materials for the grand gestures, but Peter had never doubted he’d been loved, in the simplest profession of words. Tony was… not like that, not in the slightest. It felt as though Peter were trying to read a different language entirely, attempting to parse the deeper meaning without even having a basic grasp on the vocabulary.
OR: Happy Hogan, serving as the in-between for a stubborn eccentric genius friend he's known for decades, and the recently acquired Spider-kid he's taken a begrudging fondness to; forcing them to reconcile their differences and talk to each other about their similarities, rather than stubbornly bottling everything up.
(AKA: helping them find a happy medium, if you will.)
