Summary
Tahara Amari is an aspiring young hero with a relatively uncommon shapeshifting quirk. Dead set on her quest to become a hero, she enrolls at UA with the intent of making it to the top ten. Unfortunately, with her mother constantly off to who-knows-where and her father out of the picture, making ends meet is becoming increasingly difficult for Tahara as she juggles a job, schoolwork, and the constant pressure of hiding her home life from the rest of the world. Through sheer determination, however, Tahara Amari knows for a fact that someday, she's going to be a hero that others can look up to, and she'll do whatever it takes to get there.

The name alone has Yuji bristling. The hairs on the back of his neck stand, scarred skin prickling from all the injuries he has that person, that curse to thank for. Memories of that battle are nothing more than fury-inducing to him. The visions of Megumi with dark ink on his body haunt his nightmares.
“What happened?” He channels the calmest tone he can utter, but he has always worn his heart on his sleeve. Yuji's grip tightens on Megumi's kneecaps. Something fiery and dangerous is boiling in his gut.
“Yuji.” Megumi responds, his tone a warning.
“Tell me what happened.” Yuji demands now.OR
Megumi never tells Yuji about the bath, the ritual that caused him to develop aquaphobia. When he nearly drowns during a mission his very serious fear and unhealthy tendencies are exposed.

The stranger must feel him watching as his head turns and their eyes suddenly meet there on the street.

On a mission, Yuji encounters a curse user that has the ability to make someone's past wounds return. Resurfacing old scars, it causes Yuji's cursed energy to heighten to a point where he cannot dial it back. It raises questions and worries about his self-control.
