"MSF FNG," Jack shot back. Whatever that meant, he sounded amused.
Darnell scoffed and looked to Robby, expression going decidedly unimpressed. "Oh, yeah? You here to find yourself? Have an adventure? Do something hard?" he asked, each question more mocking than the last.
And there was that question again, like it was haunting Robby. He stifled his instinct to bite back and kept it simple: "I'm here to help."

Summary
There was a distinct headiness to being an alpha, of demanding subservience of their omega. It made Dennis's skin crawl, it made him want to kneel.
Dr Robinavitch was an alpha that he wanted to kneel for. He was also an alpha who infamously didn't want omegas working in his ED.
It was too bad that Dennis wanted to be a doctor more than he wanted to be an alpha's plaything.
The only rational solution, therefore, is to pretend to be an alpha.
