Summary
Lucius smiled, suddenly looking down in humour, as if he thought of something funny, "your filing system was horrendous..."
"No it wasn't," Ed defended. He glared, eyes dark in annoyance, and he said through gritted teeth, "I had organised it, implementing a rhizomatic cross-index, with my case files classified by subject, but arranged more like the way a peat moss organism grows..." He had organised it perfectly, and he did the same for Miss Kringle, he thought she would have appreciated it - really, he shouldn't think about her right now. "You know," he said, his wrists together, and spread his hands, fingers fanning out.
"Laterally." Ed said, his voice clashing with Lucius' voice. The two had said it at the same time. Ed looked up to see Lucius looking down to the ground, he saw Lucius's wrists together, hands and fingers out, just like Ed's. Lucius looked up, and saw Ed's hands the same as his, and the two looked into each others eyes, shocked. They dropped their hands.Or;
Edward and Lucius realise they have feelings for each other... all at the worst time possible. Can they make this work?
