Summary
After the battle of Highwater, Reina and Theo get separated from Parrot.
Reina starves to death and upon meeting back up with Parrot, Theo leaves him. Claiming that Shoebilly was right to never have friends.
After being abandoned, Parrot stays stagnant in one place until Shoebilly and Saparata find him, before they can kill him, Parrot lunges at Shoebilly, explaining that Theo had left him.
Shoebilly sympathises with him and takes him in under his wing, making Parrot a member of cindercrest.

“They call me Mimic,” Grian lowered his hand, crossing his arms. “I wasn’t always like this. I never knew I had superpowers.”
He’d look down, letting his arms fall to his sides as he continued. “I actually wanted to become a veterinarian.”
“And you may be thinking—”Mimic wanted to be a vet?” but I can assure you, I was doing beyond well in getting my degree.” Grian felt himself frown, once feigning confidence, he could feel it leaving his body. “I was halfway there.”
“Yes, halfway! I was so close to becoming a veterinarian. And yet, I couldn’t follow my dreams.” Each word tipped with something similar to anger. Disgust. Contemplation.
“I never wanted to become a superhero. I never knew I had that option. It wasn’t fair to me, if I knew more about the hero agency. If I knew more about what a life was as a hero?” A pause then a chuckle left him.
“I would’ve never chosen to go down this path.”

The Blaze Demon didn't expect that and stepped away, Wemmbu just stared up at him, then fell limp, dead.
