Summary
Dean Winchester was a man that had a heart that could only tolerate so many people, especially after his mom died and his dad drove off to some place in Texas where he had another son that he actually took care of.
When his baby brother was born, he made the decision to protect him with his whole being. He took care of him in a way their father never did. He would do anything for Sammy.
So, when Castiel swooped into their lives and took a part of Dean's heart he didn't know he had...and Sam ALSO wanted that...well- Dean couldn't possibly let Sammy feel left out. He had to take care of Sam...and make sure he felt the love he always deserved...even if that meant sharing the one man he loved the most.
Even if that also meant sharing Sam with- multiple people.
