Summary
Wriothesley shoves his hands into his pockets and watches his own feet for a moment. "I've… been sleeping, yes."
Neuvillette reaches out and catches Wriothesley by the elbow, and they both pause mid-step. Wriothesley turns in his grip, realizing belatedly that the move positions him within inches of Neuvillette's face. Wriothesley meets his gaze for only a moment - Neuvillette is staring at him with such intensity that he can't help but avert his eyes.
"You must think me an exceedingly poor judge," Neuvillette says lowly, "if you think I cannot tell you are lying."
Wriothesley can't sleep - like, at all. Except, of course, when he's around Neuvillette. Then he can hardly stay awake.
Written as a character study of Wriothesley and a dive into the trauma he faced as a child, and what might happen if an unwelcome face from his murky past surfaced in the Fortress of Meropide, right under Wriothesley's nose.
Angst, Wriothesley crying, and Neuvillette trying desperately to help. Maybe a little bit slow burn.

“Who are you?” Law asked, looking warily at the stranger. The man just beamed at him, his smile so wide it made his eyes crinkle at the corners. He looked like a commoner, with only a threadbare shirt and short, dirty pants covering him from the cold winter air.
“My name is Monkey D Luffy! And I think I fell!” The man said, his voice light and carefree.
“You fell,” Law repeated the words slowly, disbelief clear in his tone. “From where?”
“Up.”

Or alternatively, the fantasy AU in which Law is a recluse healer living alone in the woods, Bepo is still a bear, and Luffy is literally God. They still kick Doflamingo’s ass in the end.

Summary
As soon as the door is closed, Wriothesley is in Neuvillette’s space, pushing him up against the nearest wall before he even has the chance to say anything. There is no resistance, only a surprised little gasp that leaves Neuvillette, and Wriothesley dives in to steal it from his lips right away.
“You have no idea how long I’ve been wanting to do that”, Wriothesley murmurs between kisses, each one growing in its urgency.

Summary
Now that Fontaine has quieted down since the departure of the Traveler, Wriothesley finds himself wrapped back up into something he thought he’d escaped after his “rebirth” in the Fortress of Meropide. Wanting to prevent others from living out the same traumatic childhood, he seeks out help from the few people he can trust, including the esteemed Iudex Neuvillette. Fortunately, or maybe unfortunately, for him, he’s always found himself dangerously attracted to the Iudex, who remains oblivious. As time goes on, Wriothesley keeps his focus on his case, which grows increasingly difficult as both of their confusing feelings for one another continue to spiral.
