    A waft of spice hit Ochako’s nostrils and she reeled back in shock. She has faced down countless villains since coming to UA. She has been in battle and in hand to hand combat possibly a hundred times. She faced Overhaul’s minions with support from her peers, but otherwise without outside help. But no villain with a terrifying quirk has ever struck her with more fear than quirkless Melissa shoveling curry made of peppers so deadly it killed an unprepared Pro Hero famous for his spice tolerance on live TV. Deku was still guzzling water directly from the sink, Tokoyami’s quirk was crying in pain as he casually shoveled more into his mouth, and Melissa was handling the spice like a pro.

    Being biologically quirkless came more with an extra pinkie joint in the toes and a stunning lack of vestiges mutations. It came with smaller things, like extra teeth that did virtually nothing, exploding organs, and weird exposed nerves that weren't designed to feel pain.

    Wrathfull written as a present for the king of Wrathfull himself, and taking on legs with every second that passes.

    Ed's newly out younger roommate is a sweet enough kid, but he's got horrible online friends (read: groomers) and seems to really, really think Ed is a cis man. But, whatever. It's not Ed's business.

    A series of loosely connected chapters in the same universe, affecting each other, but not necessarily about the same characters each time. Something something ripple effect. Tags per chapter will be more reliable/thorough than the fic tags.

    "Oh?" Dabi taunts in that flashfire voice of his; and Hawks is reminded, yet again, how easily he burns. "Tell me, what poor little bastard's gonna be riding your ugly-ass coattails for the next few months?"

    Hawks frowns, realizing he's just set up a question he actually has to answer. Dabi will find out anyway, won't he? If there's one thing Hawks has learned, it's that Dabi has his ways. Hawks can never hide anything from him, no matter how hard he tries, a fact that will someday spell his undoing –– but there's no way around it now.

    Willing his fight-or-flight instinct into silence, Hawks reminds his sharpened feathers he's not here for either. It'll be fine. The worst part of removing a bandaid is the dread before you rip it off. Right?

    So Hawks braces himself, and answers:

    "Todoroki Shouto."

    Hawks' doomed flight towards the sun is thrown off-course when he receives a surprise request from Endeavor's son, asking to be his work-study student. And soon, Dabi's worst nightmare takes a new form when Shouto joins Hawks' obvious-as-hell spy mission, putting them in forced proximity -- only for him to discover that his father's perfect masterpiece is nothing like he thought he was.
