Summary
After dealing the with the grief of his mother's death. Remus Lupin goes to university without much expectations but when he has to deal with his obnoxious roommate who doesn't know how to mind his own business, things take a different turn for Remus.
All Remus wants to do is avoide his roommate and focus on himself but in the process of doing so, he keeps finding comfort in his presence and Remus finds himself falling for Sirius Black.

Summary
Magician Sirius Black has spent his entire life conning drunkards in the seediest pubs in the darkest towns, careful to hide the true depth of his power. But when he spends a little too much time in Scotland and the infamous slumlord Lord Voldemort gets wind of his abilities, hiding within the Circus of the Damned may Sirius's only chance at survival.
But there’s more to the circus than meets the eye. Every time a performer dies, a new one must take his place, or the entire circus will suffer the consequences. And while the handsome ringmaster Remus isn’t one to coerce unwilling performers into giving up their souls to the devil, a recent death in their ranks makes Sirius exactly what they need.
Yet the longer Sirius stays with the circus, the more danger he seems to bring them. Being with Remus is more than Sirius could have hoped for, but as Lord Voldemort's men continue to search for the magician and the circus loses another performer, they all face running out of time long before the devil claims his due.
