Summary
Jisung doesn’t know if he started breathing again after he stopped. Maybe he is suffocating right now, because this must be a hallucination. White fur mutates into white skin, long canine shrink into smaller ones, and what used to be a massive predator morphs into the shape of a man, not much taller than himself and with beautiful, catlike eyes. Jisung blinks multiple times, he forces himself to fill his lungs with fresh air, but the sight doesn’t change. Only when the other man starts hissing and the smell of burnt flesh reaches Jisung’s nose does he come to his senses.
“What the fuck… are you?”Jisung, Changbin, Chan and Seungmin try to make the best of their bleak lives in a small, remote village in the middle of nowhere. As members of the Hunting Team, they try to establish their place in the conservative village community, which comes more easily to some than others. But some of them also have more secrets than others.
When Jisung comes into contact with one of the pursued white predators during one of the hunts, they realize they know far less than they thought. Suddenly they find themselves torn between two worlds. But how could they not, when the danger is as beautiful as the moon itself?

Jisung turns his head to give Minho an angry squint. “I feel like you’re trying to trick me. I don’t know how, or for what reason, but you are.”
Minho isn’t looking at him anymore, scrolling on his phone, gracing Jisung with his ridiculous side profile. “I would never trick you,” he says, voice as flat as the plains of Colorado.
“That sounds like something someone who’s trying to trick me would say.”
“Jisung.”
“What.”
“Come here.” He clicks his phone off and sets it on the nightstand between their beds, then pats his thigh.
“What?” Jisung short circuits for a moment. Minho wants him to… what? Sit on his thigh? Isn’t that a little forward? That has to be skipping at least ten steps. They’ve only known each other for, like, less than 72 hours. And a majority of that was spent antagonizing one another.
“I said come here.” And he pats his thigh again as if that’s a completely normal thing to do.

Summary
Minho’s insides twisted when Jisung’s hands found the indents his fangs left in the small creature. A moment passed where Jisung gently felt around it, blinking. Then he handed it to Minho.
Through the crackling of the fire, a whisper came.
“You don’t need to cook it, do you?”
It was hardly a question. The answer was as evident as the truth under Jisung’s fingertips. But Minho knew he wanted to hear him say it.
The truth must be let out at some point. Minho himself wanted to say it.
“No, I don’t.”
