"Is this what your modern world is about? Diatribes and inconclusive data?" he makes an all-encompassing gesture.
Daniel has never seen what baffled looks like on a vampire's face but this might be it.
"Well, yeah, maybe. Would that be so bad?"

“You can join the several hundred other men over the last century who had eyes,” Louis says.
“It’s not because you're hot,” Daniel says. “I mean, yes, but not - shut up, stop fishing.”
“Stop letting me bait you.”
Daniel kisses him, nibbles at his lip. Smiles and kisses him again, slow and soothing, the same mouth that does large predator maneuvers on all the sexy parts of Louis’ body. He kisses Louis’ cheek, his jaw, his lips again. Stays close when he's done.
“What you were saying, before,” Daniel says, Louis’ eyes full of his lovely face, his waist in the periphery with Armand's hands petting along his ribcage. “It's so stupid, it’s - I think about it. If both of you made me together. But that's not actually a thing, is it? Two makers.”

“Yes, Armand; I would love to know.” Came the reply from Daniel’s friend, a little condescending, but that was alright, Armand didn’t mind.
A quick gaze at Daniel proved him to be only mildly amused. How far would he allow Armand to go then?
“I could do a small demonstration. If you’re curious.”

Life's milestones warrant a party. Like, for example, selling 20 million copies of a book.
There is no reason not to throw a party. There is no reason not to invite every person Daniel's ever met.There is no reason for Armand to show up. But that is besides the point.
