When Namjoon was getting ready to see Seokjin this evening after his hyung had suggested they do something special tonight, just the two of them, he had expected to find him dressed more in a date appropriate outfit and less in... All black, lose clothes paired with... A beanie? He squints, the gears in his head turning as fast as possible to try to make sense of the situation.
Seokjin waves happily and unrolls the beanie until it covers his whole face, two holes making it possible to see through it. Namjoon stares. Is it too late to turn on his heels and pedal back home?

Summary
Jungkook doesn't date. He doesn't enjoy waking up in an unfamiliar bed, and having to make awkward small talk with the night's conquest. Seokjin did look. He looked for a long time, though he had known it instantly, at the first sight of graphite on familiar grain, as the sketch he had tucked away in the privacy of his own apartment, where it was meant to stay until forever, unseen by any other person and absolutely not in anyone's charmingly baggy jeans pocket.

Lunchtime prep has always been simple. Service is from eleven to two-thirty, and they’re only really serving soups and stews, mostly to cater to the elderly population nearby.
“I’m going to smoke,” Yoongi says gruffly. He pulls off his apron and drops it in front of his station. “Seokjin-hyung’s in charge.”
He doesn’t wait for a response, just stalks off to his locker to grab his pack of cigarettes. Distantly, he hears some chatter, some laughter, and a bout of quiet complaining from Hoseok, “He doesn’t always need to tell us that he left you in charge.”
“Well,” Yoongi hears Seokjin reply. “He does that because Yoongi has a cru—”
Yoongi shuts the door behind him.
