Summary
After millennia of being the world’s shittiest boss, Lucifer comes on a bit strong when Crowley finds his family in the middle of a murder investigation. Chloe has no clue what the real story is between Lucifer and his brother, but the biblical one is dramatic enough. This brother got thrown out of Heaven for not taking sides in their family’s “war” and then more recently adopted the Antichrist despite the kid disowning Lucifer as a father. Whatever that was code for is probably just as complicated, knowing Lucifer.
Adam, Crowley, Aziraphale, and Warlock were just trying to celebrate their little family. Murder, underground criminal organizations, money: the Dowling name was good for it all.
Malcolm Bright was so close to finding out exactly how a prominent politician, Thaddeus Dowling, had a crime empire growing in the shadow of Endicott’s, well the big fish got caught and now Hell’s chosen surrogate father was taking advantage. Back before the Creation of Man, before the Garden, there was the Fall.
The Fall was lead by Lucifer, the First of the Fallen, God’s Favorite, King of Hell, and is destined to spawn the Destroyer of Mankind.
Thinking back to these events, Crowley sighs. He was so productive back then. What happened?(Of course he knew what happened. A little angel happened. Was it in God’s Ineffable Plan that a measly Principality would one day have the Devil himself wrapped around his pinky finger?)
